Kazushi Mimura held a small press gathering to reveal details and thoughts on various things related to CRIMSON...
- Mimura spoke at length about the Sky PerfecTV! and GAORA deals...Mimura said that due to Tatsumichi Akamatsu's influence in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, their popularity had been expanding throughout the country, so these two deals were brokered to capitalize on that...The first GAORA special will take place on 2/01. Each one will run about 90 minutes and feature the big happenings, results, and on-goings in CRIMSON. The major focus of the show will be The BLACKHEARTS starting on 10/13 with Akamatsu's intrusion. The shows will air bi-monthly, so matches will have to be clipped, but all major events will be covered.
- The Sky PerfecTV! deal begins on 2/04 with Akamatsu/Nomura. Right now the plan is to air several events through the year on PPV. Already confirmed are the 10/13 Anniversary show, and DUE TIME Pt. 5. The Power Source finals will likely be aired as well, along with possibly another event or two depending on how 2/04 does.
- Mimura spoke about Rui Kuriyama's betrayal to the BLACKHEARTS at length , and said that he had been expecting it. Kuriyama began to act up as soon as Fujita's actions in Pro-Wrestling FURY began, so the writing was on the wall. Mimura called it "regretable" but said there was nothing that could have been done to avoid it.
- MImura turned his attention to the upcoming "CRIMSON FLOWING" series of shows, beginning on the 23rd. Sojiro Sayuki has already left on his excursion to Mexico at Daishi's choosing. HANZO will also miss the tour after the brutal beating SLAYER gave him on the 15th. Beyond that, several key matches are planned on the tour.
- Millennium S.K. and Ryoma Inoue will make their second defense of the PWC Jr. Tag Championships on 2/10 against an outsider team! Pro-Wrestling FURY will be sending the UPRISER'Z team of RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji to take on the MILLENNIUM STARS duo. Mimura called this a facinating match of two unliked teams.
- A concept match will take place on 2/06 to determine the next tag team challengers to Akamatsu and Toyota. Three teams will face off in an elimination style match. Nobuyori Shimizu and Toshiro Noguchi against Tenshin Komatsu and Makoto Saito against Kenjiro Amagawa and Mikio Tsuruya.
- Finally, Tokyo Korakuen Hall on 2/19 will see several big matches. First will be Akahito Yamada's challenge against Naoki Daishi for the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship. The other will be a Five match Series between The Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON sekigun and the BLACKHEARTS...The Sekigun has an X member, and Mimura is leaving it up to them to decide who it would be. Mimura hinted that it could be someone from outside of CRIMSON...
