Before the event could take place, President Kazushi Mimura held an impromptu talk in the ring to the fans that had shown up at the Iwate Town Training Center…Mimura thanked them all for appearing, before saying that they were about to witness history for Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON. This statement caused the loyal fans of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON to buzz, before Kazushi Mimura revealed that Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s show on the 4th with the C-1 Heavyweight Championship match between Yuki Nomura and Tatsumichi Akamatsu will be the *FIRST* event of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON to be aired live on Sky PerfecTV! A loud cheer went through the fans, as Mimura began to talk on how rebuilding CRIMSON had been a hard process, but now, they were about to enter a new level as a promotion that very few ever do! However, Mimura asked the crowd to quiet down before revealing the second part of his announcement…as Sky PerfecTV won’t be the only place that CRIMSON will air on TV’s across Japan! With a flourish, Mimura announced that Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON will be airing shows on GAORA! Mimura didn’t reveal any specifics, but said the first event on GAORA would air before the 4th big show. Mimura then did the unexpected and THANKED Tatsumichi Akamatsu for his help in raising CRIMSON’s profile! Mimura said that even though he hated what Akamatsu was trying to accomplish … without Akamatsu, CRIMSON would never have gotten these two TV contracts…but then Mimura screamed “NOMURA! DO YOUR BEST!” before bowing deeply to the fans and leaving the ring leaving no doubt that Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON has become one of the major players in Pro-Wrestling!
The C-1 J-League has come to a close in the main event of tonight’s show at the Iwate Town Training Center. The tournament came down to Keoni Murata and Akahito Yamada in a quest to determine who was the strongest of the field. The match started out slow, with both men testing each other to find out where their weaknesses were. Neither man wanted to give the other something to work with, but Murata was surprisingly the first to make a mistake. Murata tried a charge into the corner on Yamada, but Yamada dodged and Murata went shoulder first into the turnbuckle. Murata began to clutch at his shoulder and Yamada zeroed in on the injury. For several minutes, Yamada worked over the shoulder area, trying to weaken Murata further but Murata refused to give in, and kept refusing to give up. After several minutes of torture on his injured body part, Murata was able to counter Yamada’s Crossface attempt into a rolling cradle, but Yamada kicked out! Murata got new life from this momentary cradle, and began to go on the offensive against Yamada which ended with both men going at each other with everything they had. Murata tried to hit Yamada with a Backdrop off the top rope, but Yamada fought back, knocked Murata off the turnbuckle and then flew off with a missle dropkick as Murata stood up! Yamada signaled for the end and latched on his Crossface of Yamada in the center of the ring! Murata struggled, and struggled in the hold, but every time he came close to the ropes, Yamada would pull him back. Murata managed to pull himself to the ropes, but Yamada suddenly let go of the hold, pulled Murata to his feet and hit a modified running armbreaker into the mat before reapplying the hold! Murata began to scream in pain, but still refused to give up! Murata SOMEHOW pulled himself to his feet with Yamada still trying to retain the hold…and gave Yamada a modified Backdrop! However, Yamada HELD ON and rolled them back over into position for the Crossface! Yamada put all his power into his hands, and violently began to yank backwards on Murata’s head in short bursts, but STILL Murata refused to give up! Finally, after well over a minute in the hold, Murata’s body could take no more and the first C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion was forced to tap out to the Crossface of Yamada! Both men were completely spent after the match, but Murata had to be attended to due to his shoulder, but appeared to be fine…Yamada was presented with his trophy for winning the C-1 J-League, but the ceremony was put to a halt as C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Naoki Daishi entered the ring. Daishi approached Yamada, and shook his hand. Daishi gave Yamada a thumbs up gesture, and then left the ring without further incident to allow Yamada to soak up the moment! Yamada took a microphone, and breathlessly thanked Keoni Murata for one of the hardest fights of his career, before saying that this was one of the greatest moments of his career. Yamada became philosophical as he stated that when his shoulder had suffered a major injury, he never thought he could ever reach this level in his skill…but that he wasn’t done yet! Yamada pointed at Daishi, and called him his “friend” but that he wouldn’t rest until he had taken the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship! Daishi nodded with a smile on his face, as the two pillars of OVERTHROW look set to meet for the championship once again!
The semi-final of the night saw the top two of the BLACKHEARTS, “Supreme Commander” Tatsumichi Akamatsu and “Power Captain” Akuma Toyota take on the team of C-1 Heavyweight Champion Yuki Nomura and NGI member Toshiro Noguchi for the C-1 Tag Team Championships. Before the match even began, Akamatsu revealed the newest member of the BLACKHEARTS…RUI KURIYAMA! Yuki Nomura looked shocked at this, as he tried to become a mentor of sorts for Kuriyama before Kuriyama’s weird behavior…Kuriyama came out with bleached blonde hair, and new tights. Nomura angrily grabbed a microphone and demanded to know why Kuriyama had abandoned CRIMSON. Kuriyama didn’t talk, but Akamatsu did…Akamatsu told Nomura that Kuriyama had “lost his way” when his mentor Kazuma Fujita became the number one enemy of Pro-Wrestling FURY, CRIMSON’s “sister” fed! No-one reached out to help Kuriyama, and he was in a state of confusion before abandoning wrestling all together! It was at this point that Akamatsu, one of Fujita’s main allies in FURY, found him, and told him that he should FOLLOW Fujita’s example and not to fight against Fujita’s teachings. He then formally adopted him as his “son” in the BLACKHEARTS! Kuriyama now follows in the example that Fujita and Akamatsu are laying down, that only the strongest are fit to rule wrestling, and those two men are his mentor Kazuma Fujita, and his “father” Tatsumichi Akamatsu! At this point, for once, it was Yuki Nomura’s anger that completely boiled over as he ATTACKED Akamatsu and Toyota with reckless abandonment. Noguchi followed in to keep the odds even, and the battle began to rage. The four men paired off, with Nomura and Akamatsu having a preview of their match on the 4th, with both tearing into each other with strikes. Nomura tried to down Akamatsu with elbows, but Akamatsu refused to fall, and began to fight back with vicious blows before dropping Nomura to the floor…however, Akamatsu was caught off guard as Noguchi appeared out of nowhere and CRASHED into Akamatsu with the Tokkan, sending Akamatsu out of the ring and to the floor on his feet to a roaring ovation from the fans! After this wild start, the match calmed down…Noguchi ended up being isolated for most of the match due to Akamatsu’s anger at being upstaged by Noguchi’s sneak attack. The BLACKHEARTS beat Noguchi unmercifully for several minutes, including Toyota nearly putting Noguchi away with a Lariat, however, Noguchi refused to go down so easily before eventually making the tag to C-1 Heavyweight Champion Yuki Nomura! Nomura burst into the ring, knocked Akamatsu off the apron and then began to unload on Toyota with high impact offense. Toyota fought back constantly, but the fresher Nomura kept unleashing strikes and moves. Finally, Nomura landed the Shukuen and covered, but Akamatsu broke up the pin with a sharp kick to the face that stunned Nomura. Nomura stumbled over and tagged in Noguchi who came in and lined up for the Tokkan…On the outside, Nomura was standing on the apron, when all of a sudden, Kuriyama BLASTED him in the back with a chair! Nomura crashed to the floor, as Kuriyama took the chair and began to throttle Nomura to keep him down! In the ring, Noguchi charged Toyota with the Tokkan, but Toyota ducked! Noguchi bounced off the ropes and came back for a second try…RIGHT INTO A JUMPING HIGH KICK FROM AKAMATSU! Noguchi collapsed in a heap as Toyota recovered from the assault he had taken…Toyota lifted Noguchi and then lariated him and covered…but Noguchi kicked out! Noguchi grabbed the ropes and pulled himself up to his feet, only to turn around and be nailed with a second Lariat from Toyota! Toyota lifted Noguchi without a pin, and then landed his impressive Akuma Ichimonji finishing move! Noguchi had no answer this time, and the three count was registered. After the BLACKHEARTS had celebrated, Akamatsu took a microphone and announced that they had targeted Noguchi from the start to “spare” Nomura’s body from unneeded punishment with that chair shot…Akamatsu then demanded that Nomura become stronger between now and the 4th so he has a challenge! Nomura attempted to get back into the ring to continue the fight, but was held back by Nobuyori Shimizu and others as Akamatsu…laughed at Nomura’s attempts for revenge, before telling him that his passion was “good for him” and to “channel that rage into your fight” for their battle.
The rivalry that has existed since they were rookies continued in the sixth match of the night as Nobuyori Shimizu and Tenshin Komatsu once again clashed in singles competition. Komatsu has won the battles as of late, but tonight, they were locked in a clash that many called the match of the night. Both men poured out every bit of aggression and hatred they had for each other. Shimizu began to bleed early from an errant kick that grazed Shimizu’s face that seemingly cut him. Shimizu responded by pouring the fight into Komatsu even harder with harder blows and throws. Neither Rouzeki-GUN or NGI got involved throughout the match, making it a battle between two rivals with a fair result. Komatsu seemed to have the match won after two of his Komatsu Knee Kicks, but Komatsu attempted a third, but Shimizu caught him by surprise by charging AT Komatsu during his running start and WHALLOPED Komatsu in the face with a running elbow! Komatsu seemed to be completely out of it from the elbow, as he stumbled about the ring. Shimizu hooked him and dropped him on the back of his head with the Tsuyosa German Suplex…only to have Komatsu kick out! Shimizu picked up the obviously out of it Komatsu, and dropped him head first into the mat with a Thunder-Fire Powerbomb! But AGAIN Komatsu kicked out! Amazingly, Komatsu began to scream, rising to his feet in defiance to the punishment he had taken and began to throw wild kicks and punches! Shimizu took the blows, the power behind them obviously weak before he nearly KO’d Komatsu with a slap, before hitting the ropes and LEVELING Komatsu with a second elbow strike! Komatsu collapsed, and Shimizu covered giving Shimizu the all-important victory over his generation rival! When Komatsu came to after the blow, he looked confused that he had lost, but then left without a word to anyone, trailed only by Makoto Saito…
Not everything went as smoothly as the semi final for the BLACKHEARTS. Keiji Hirano and “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop found themselves in a grudge match in the fifth match of the night against the team of Izumo Yoritomo and Kenjiro Amagawa. Yoritomo obviously had a grudge to bare, but Amagawa seemed fired up as well, maybe finally realizing that his rival Keiji Hirano was quickly passing him in rank. Amagawa showed off a new side to his style in this match, as he used his Impressive power and wrestling ability to keep the usually high paced Hirano grounded, while Yoritomo would use his power to neutralize Bishop when they were in the ring with each other. The BLACKHEARTS refused to go down quietly, however, as Bishop nearly won the match with a Texan Bomber on Amagawa, but Yoritomo broke it up. In the end, it was the wrestler with the most to prove, Kenjiro Amagawa who came out victorious. After several rough months, Amagawa showed off his true potential as he speared Hirano almost out of his boots, before giving him a Backdrop on the back of his head and applying a Figure-Four Leglock! Hirano thrashed around the ring, but Yoritomo made the situation worse after knocking Bishop out of the ring by giving Hirano a running leg drop while he was still in the hold! With no other recourse, Hirano finally submitted to Amagawa’s new hold, giving the two men wanting revenge the result they wanted in this match! Amagawa took a microphone, obviously elated and told the defeated Hirano that this was a new day, as he’s “remembered who he is” and will prove over and over to Keiji Hirano who the better wrestler is!
The headhunting of HEROICS has begun. In the fourth match of the night, it was MILLENNIUM STARS versus Hayato Saigo, HANZO, and Natsuo Sakoda in six man action…Right after the bell rang, SLAYER dropped off the apron, calmly walked around the ring, and then violently grabbed HANZO by the neck and THREW him to the floor! Saigo and Sakoda looked…surprised, by this, but were attacked by S.K. and Inoue before they could intervene! From that point on, it was essentially a tag contest, as SLAYER never tagged in…and ironically enough neither did HANZO. Throughout the match, SLAYER beat HANZO unmercifully on the outside, hurling him into chairs and bashing him into walls. In the ring, Saigo and Sakoda were winning against the PWC Junior-Heavyweight Tag Champions, but every so often, their attention would be diverted by the massive beating that HANZO was taking on the outside of the ring, which allowed the crafty S.K. and Inoue to fight back. After several minutes of this, HEROICS charged from the back to save HANZO, but SLAYER stood steadfast and began to attack ALL THREE members of HEROICS by himself! Takagi attempted to grab onto SLAYER to hold him, but SLAYER broke free, and then completely SHATTERED a chair over Takagi’s back! Royama lunged at SLAYER, but got thrown head-first into the wall. This left Tomizaki who was trying to drag HANZO out of harms way, but SLAYER began to STALK the two! This became quite a scene, as Tomizaki tried desperately to flee from SLAYER with HANZO’s almost unconscious body causing him to be slowed down, while SLAYER just kept pursuing with a slow, but determined pace around the arena. SLAYER eventually tired of this, armed himself with a piece of the wall that had broken from his beating of HANZO, and HURLED it like a Frisbee into the back of Tomizaki, causing him to collapse to the floor! At this point, all three members of OVERTHROW appeared and tried to hold back SLAYER, while Naoki Daishi began to scream at Tomizaki to “run”! Tomizaki made his escape with HANZO, but SLAYER broke free and began to chase after him with a single-minded determination to the back. During ALL of this, there was a match taking place in the ring. The PWC Junior-Heavyweight Tag Champions showed why they were a fantastic team, as they worked together before S.K. spiked Sakoda with the Millennium Driver for the pinfall victory!
Speaking of HEROICS, they faced a grave challenge in the third match of the night as MUSASHI Tomizaki, Royama the Brave and DRAGON Takagi took on Rouzeki-GUN of Goro Iijima, Makoto Saito and Daisuke Yamazaki. HEROICS managed to keep it close for most of the match, but the sheer offensive power of Rouzeki-GUN proved to be too much, and HEROICS were overwhelmed as Saito pinned Takagi with his Shinto Akuji finisher.
Takayuki Ariwa and Mikio Tsuruya met in singles competition in the second match of the night. The two bulky wrestlers clashed with surprising ferocity given their friendship, with neither giving up an inch against the other. However, unlike his partner Amagawa, Tsuruya didn’t seem to have the same success on the night as Ariwa began to use his power to his advantage. Tsuruya showed surprising resistance as he kicked out of the Hammerfall, but fell victim to Ariwa’s new rolling lariat into a cradle move for the pinfall victory!
Naoki Daishi took on his young protégé in the first match of the night in Sojiro Sayuki. Before the match could begin, Sayuki took a microphone and then asked Daishi if he could get Daishi’s blessing to go on an excursion to further his training after his dismal performance during the C-1 J-League. Daishi considered, but then agreed with the stipulation that he would pick the location for the excursion, to which Sayuki readily agreed. The match finally got under way, and Sayuki once again put up a strong fight, but was nowhere near the strength level of the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion and was beaten soundly by Daishi leading to a Northern Lights Bomb for the win. After the match, Daishi told Sayuki that the next time they wrestled, he wanted Sayuki to have more experience and to show him his “heart” as a wrestler!
