Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ~ Power Summit Series ~ 6/9/7

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s tour around the Iwate prefecture continued with a stop in Akita at the Jumonji Townsman Gymnasium where five hundred fans gathered to watch the events! Rouzeki-GUN and the Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON sekigun clashed in the main event once again, but this time it was the number one contender to the C-1 Heavyweight Championship Tenshin Komatsu scoring the victory! Rouzeki-GUN consisting of Goro Iijima, Tenshin Komatsu & Makoto Saito used their brutality and trickery to keep their opponents of Yuki Nomura, Toshiro Noguchi and Takayuki Ariwa off balance from the opening bell as they tried to focus on the challengers for the C-1 Tag Championships, Toshiro Noguchi and Takayuki Ariwa before the big match on the 11th! However, the challengers along with the C-1 Heavyweight Champion showed their mettle by refusing to give an inch to their opponents, with the young Takayuki Ariwa leading the charge with a near fall on Saito with a spear! However, everything fell apart as Aku Toyota illegally interfered, bashing Noguchi in the back with a chair as he was coming off the ropes, dropping him to his knees allowing Komatsu to whack him with the Sliding Knee Kick for the heat up victory heading into the 11th! A huge brawl erupted post match, but the arrival of Kenjiro Amagawa and Mikio Tsuruya turned the tides and Rouzeki-GUN bid a tactical retreat to fight another day!

Speaking of the “Backdrop Brothers”, they teamed with Yujiro Higuchi to take on Izumo Yoritomo, Keiji Hirano and Eiichi Aihara in the semi final. The balance of experience was tipped heavily against them, but the team of Amagawa, Tsuruya & Higuchi fought on bravely none the less, but in the end the awe inspiring power of Yoritomo, the effortless agility of Hirano, and the tactical brilliance of Aihara proved to be far too much for them to overcome, and Higuchi was finally caught by Aihara with a cobra twist turned into a cradle for the three count! To the surprise of many, all six exchanged handshakes after the match showing some form of unity between the Sekigun and the un-named union of Yoritomo & Hirano!

Kazuki Takagi continues to struggle to find a place in CRIMSON with more and more divisions between the wrestlers turning into groups, or subgroups, and this time he tested his mettle against Aku Toyota, the newest member of Rouzeki-GUN. If the match was supposed to be a measure of Takagi’s worth for joining Rouzeki-GUN, he failed miserably as Toyota brutalized Takagi from the opening bell. Takagi attempted to match power with Toyota, but the new edge in style that Toyota has gotten was far more then Takagi could match up against, and in less then three minutes he was bleeding heavily from the assault from Toyota! Takagi attempted to hang on, but Toyota blasted him with a lariat, covering Takagi with one foot for the crushing victory! When Takagi attempted to pull himself back up, Toyota kicked him in the face and then SPAT on Takagi before leaving!

MILLENNIUM STARS once again had a successful night as the six man team of Millennium S.K., SLAYER & HANZO were victorious over the team of Hayato Saigo, Natsuo Sakoda & Akira Tomizaki in the third match. S.K. and Saigo brawled to the back of the match early on, turning the match into almost a tag match. Natsuo Sakoda showed why he was once one of the most popular juniors in CRIMSON as he took on the incredibly massive SLAYER without backing down and without fear! However, Sakoda’s form from his past has yet to return and despite the help of Akira Tomizaki, Sakoda was crushed by SLAYER’s Zanzai Lariat to give the six man victory to the MILLENNIUM STARS!

OVERTHROW continues to be a strong force in the junior division of CRIMSON, as Naoki Daishi and Akahito Yamada used their ground based offense to defeat Keoni Murata and Sojiro Sayuki. OVERTHROW was able to isolate Sayuki in route to Daishi spiking him on his head with a Northern Lights Bomb for the win. The opening match saw “Mr. LSD” Ryoma Inoue take on Ryosei Royama in a spirited contest. Despite being the bigger wrestler, Royama was clearly in the underdog role as Ryoma took his time beating on Royama. However, despite his spirit, Royama was unable to stop Inoue and his momentium as he hit the TOMIKO Special II for the win.
