Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON invaded the prefecture of Aomori for the second show of the Power Summit Series at the Sport Plaza Fujisaki. In the main event, the team of Yuki Nomura, Kenjiro Amagawa and Mikio Tsuruya took on the trio of Izumo Yoritomo, Keiji Hirano and Kazuki Takagi. Takagi struggled throughout the main event and was isolated for most of the match up by their opponents. The Backdrop Brothers and the C-1 Heavyweight Champion Yuki Nomura showed good team work as a unit which allowed them to get and maintain the upper hand against their thrown together opponents. The end came when Takagi was finally isolated, allowing Nomura to pick the big heavyweight up and drop him down with the Twisted Angel Driver for the three count to continue his march to his next C-1 Heavyweight Championship defense!
Rouzeki-GUN clashed with N.G.I. + Higuchi in the semi final of the night. The C-1 Tag Champions, Tenshin Komatsu and Makoto Saito teamed with Aku Toyota against Toshiro Noguchi, Takayuki Ariwa & Yujiro Higuchi. Rouzeki-GUN controlled the entire contest while focusing on Takayuki Ariwa for the second straight show. Ariwa once again showed the fire that is becoming his custom as he refused to give up or give in against his aggressors, but this time it wasn’t to be as Aku Toyota got revenge over Ariwa by blasting him with a Lariat for the pinfall! Rouzeki-GUN began to assault Ariwa after the match, but then Nobuyori Shimizu ran from the back carrying a chair in his good arm with the other in a massive brace! Rouzeki-GUN scattered as Shimizu wildly flung his chair around! Shimizu took the microphone and officially announced that he would be out of action for months thanks to the actions of Toyota and Komatsu on the 30th and for now was giving his official spot in N.G.I. to Takayuki Ariwa! Shimizu also announced that on the 11th, he would be in Ariwa & Noguchi’s corner as a show of unity between the now reformed Neo Generation Idealists!
Akahito Yamada and Naoki Daishi continued their strong form as a tag team this tour by bulldozing past the team of Natsuo Sakoda and Ryosei Royama. Sakoda and Royama put up a valiant fight against their opponents, but “OVERTHROW” were far too much for Sakoda and Royama to overcome, leading to Royama being spiked on his head by Daishi with a Northern Lights Bomb into a Jujigatame for the victory!
MILLENNIUM STARS and the CRIMSON Junior Sekigun clashed in match three with the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Hayato Saigo and the young Sojiro Sayuki taking on Millennium S.K. and the mystical ninja HANZO. S.K. and HANZO were able to contain Saigo by keeping Sayuki in the ring for long stretches of time, using Sayuki’s lack of experience against him until S.K. was finally able to put Sayuki away with the Millennium Driver to score another indirect victory over Hayato Saigo heading into the junior title clash on the 15th!
MILLENNIUM STARS held the clean sweep of the night as the team of SLAYER and the newest member, Ryoma Inoue took on Keoni Murata and his new student, Akira Tomizaki. Ryoma received a hearty round of jeers from the crowd as he pranced, strutted, and gyrated around the ring. At one point, Inoue managed to get his sunglasses on SLAYER…who of course, showed no reaction and proceeded to wrestle the rest of the match with the sunglasses on. Akira Tomizaki showed off his abilities for almost the first time in his stay in CRIMSON, but he was continually picked on by Inoue, who would often run into the ring just to kick Tomizaki in the face and then celebrate. Finally, Murata had seen enough and flung himself onto his old disciple, sending both crashing to the floor! However, Murata’s action left Tomizaki alone with SLAYER who went for the Zanzai Lariat…only to have Tomizaki cradle him! SLAYER kicked out at 2.9, then IMMEDIATELY blasted Tomizaki with the Zanzai Lariat for the three count!
In the opening match, Goro Iijima took on the technical wizardry of Eiichi Aihara. Aihara has a talent for getting surprising victories against talented opponents, but Iijima gave Aihara no time to prepare or get a gameplan as he bombarded Aihara with his attack. Aihara managed to catch a leg and nearly scored the victory with a cradle, but Iijima kicked out and then nearly beheaded Aihara with the Kinan High Kick for the victory!
