Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ~ Power Summit Series ~ 6/3/07

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s first full tour of 2007 began in it’s home arena, the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium. The show was headlined by an eight man elimination match between the Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON Sekigun and the MILLENNIUM STARS faction. Before the match began, Millennium S.K. began to reveal his surprise to his former mentor Keoni Murata and his former best friend Hayato Saigo…but Saigo cut him off! Hayato Saigo drowned out Millennium S.K. before revealing that one of the MILLENNIUM STARS had joined their ranks! With little fanfare, Akira Tomizaki walked forward and joined the Sekigun’s side of the ring! S.K. began to rant at Tomizaki, before questioning why he had turned on them…Tomizaki simply replied that his hair hurt from changing hair colors so often…Everyone paused after Tomizaki’s reasoning, but then S.K. began to laugh uproariously. S.K. thanked Murata and Saigo for taking the “troublesome” Tomizaki off his hands, before he too revealed that a new member of the MILLENNIUM STARS would be debuting! Murata and Saigo looked around, before Saigo replied that there was no one who would join the MILLENNIUM STARS. Just then Ryoma Inoue stepped forward, reached into his tights, pulled out a pair of sunglasses then put them on and walked over to S.K.! Saigo began to question Inoue, but the usually timid young wrestler cut off the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion, and revealed that he was the newest member of their enemies! Inoue announced himself as “Mr. Love! Sex! Desire!” or “Mr. LSD”, and that he was symbol of sexual attraction for the entire wrestling industry!…but then added that he was unavailable since he was already married … S.K. then stated that Inoue was already a better member of the MILLENNIUM STARS then the “worthless” Tomizaki could ever be as they are now the greatest assortment of fascinating characters in Pro-Wrestling history!

The Elimination match itself finally began after all that with the revised rosters. Inoue immediately displayed his character by strutting around the ring, posing, and using whatever heel tactics he could find. The MILLENNIUM STARS controlled the opening few minutes as they isolated Natsuo Sakoda, their former member until out of nowhere, Sakoda managed to cradle the mystical ninja HANZO with the 0982 for the first elimination! It was short lived, however, as SLAYER burst into the ring and nearly DECAPITATED Sakoda with the Zanzai Lariat for the second elimination! The hope of the MILLENNIUM STARS clearly rested with SLAYER as he refused to leave the ring, and instead brutally attacked everyone on the opposite side. The former C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Keoni Murata attempted to stand against the massive power of SLAYER but was crushed by SLAYER’s reverse splash dropping the Sekigun to two members against three! Hayato Saigo and Akira Tomizaki both fought SLAYER, but the massive fighter was able to swat them away like flies…However, SLAYER failed to make a calculation, and charged Hayato Saigo who side stepped and tossed the huge man over the top rope for the elimination bringing it back down to even terms! The match proceeded as a normal tag team encounter with S.K. and Inoue controlling Tomizaki as he desperately attempted to fight back. S.K. began to tauntingly kick Tomizaki in the face as he tried to get up…Only to have Tomizaki grab him and roll him over with a cradle for the huge upset! S.K. could hardly believe it as he was shockingly pinned by Akira Tomizaki, the very man he almost forced out of the MILLENNIUM STARS! Ryoma Inoue found himself in a bad situation following his turn to the “dark side”, but if he was worried, it didn’t show. Inoue, when he was of offense showed the same egotistical streak from earlier, but he didn’t have as many opportunities to showcase his new behavior as the team of Hayato Saigo and Akira Tomizaki took the fight to Inoue. Hayato Saigo crushed Inoue with his Brainbuster Suplex…but Inoue showed his “level up” and kicked out! Saigo backed off, and tried for a running elbow but Inoue caught Saigo, lifted him up, and then hot-shotted him on the top rope, bouncing Saigo to the floor! The two wrestlers who flipped allegiance at the start of the whole match were now the final two wrestlers left! Tomizaki took the fight to Ryoma, but their difference in power was evident. Inoue, with around three years of experience was far stronger then the young Tomizaki, and Inoue exploited this fact. Inoue showed off his expertise with suplexes, as he hit the TOMIKO Special, or a double German suplex, and then rolled it over into modified fisherman suplex hold with an under-hook called the “L*D Suplex” for the dominating victory for MILLENNIUM STARS!

In the semi final of the night the first heat-up clash between Yuki Nomura & Tenshin Komatsu took place, which also doubled as heat up for the tag title match later this tour as well…Yuki Nomura teamed with the next challengers for the C-1 Tag Championships, Toshiro Noguchi & Takayuki Ariwa against the Rouzeki-GUN trio of Goro Iijima, the number one contender to Nomura’s C-1 Heavyweight Championship Tenshin Komatsu, and Aku Toyota. Rouzeki-GUN focused their attention on the weaker Ariwa for most of the match, attempting to break him down before the tag title match later in the tour, but the young wrestler showed his growth by refusing to give in to the power of his opponents, and fought back! Komatsu and Nomura barely interacted until Komatsu blindsided Nomura from behind with a flying knee strike, taking the champion out of the match! However, that proved to have little effect as out of nowhere, Noguchi and Ariwa both SLAMMED into Toyota with a perfectly timed combination of a Thunder Hammer from Noguchi and a Spear from Ariwa for the shocking pinfall victory for Ariwa! The fans gave Ariwa a rousing ovation as he finally pulls himself from the opening cards! Backstage, Ariwa thanked Noguchi for choosing him to be an honorary member of N.G.I., and promised to follow Noguchi to the grave…Noguchi laughed, then friendly stated “Lets hope it doesn’t come to that…”

Kazuki Takagi’s quest for a group to call home continued as he once again teamed with Rouzeki-GUN’s Makoto Saito against the “Rouzeki-GUN traitor” Izumo Yoritomo and his partner Keiji Hirano! Takagi attempted to match power with the former sumo fighter Yoritomo, but while Takagi is big, he has no idea on how to effectively use his power and Yoritomo was able to easily out power and maneuver Takagi! Makoto Saito attempted to salvage the match for his team, but Takagi and Saito never showed any unity as a team, which left them wide open! Saito was knocked out of the ring with a charge by Yoritomo, who then crushed Takagi with an Izumo Thunder which allowed Hirano to come off the top rope with a picture perfect Moonsault Press for the win!

Naoki Daishi and Akahito Yamada appear to be an official tag team, as they came out wearing “OVERTHROW” T-Shirts to show unity against their young opposition…The difference in skill level between Daishi & Yamada against Royama & Sayuki was massive, and it immediately shown as the two skilled wrestlers picked apart Royama and Sayuki before Yamada spiked Sayuki on the back of his head with a Straight Jacket Suplex for the win!

The opening match saw the debut of Mikio Trusruya and the formation of the “Backdrop Brothers” in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON! Amagawa and Tsusruya were high school wrestling team mates, and have followed their friendship into Pro-Wrestling, originally in the Pro-Wrestling ZION promotion. Tonight, they took on the mish mashed team of Yujiro Higuchi and Eiichi Aihara. It was a spirited contest between the four men, but the question of unity as a team was never in question for the Backdrop Brothers, as they controlled the entire contest before spiking Higuchi on the back of his head with a union Backdrop Suplex for the win!
