Following the 5/12/07 tournament show, reports are being circulated that Nobuyori Shimizu has suffered a major arm injury. Over the course of his three tournament matches, his right arm has been a target for all his opponents, and after beating Makoto Saito on the 12th Shimizu collapsed in pain holding his arm. No word exactly on what the injury could be yet, but it's thought he's either broken a bone or has suffered ligament damage to the arm. However, despite the injury, Shimizu has refused to pull out of the tournament and will on the 16th take on Goro Iijima in his final tournament match.
Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON has come to terms with bringing back two former wrestlers in the promotion. The two coming back are Natsuo "Van" Sakoda, who had a stint with the original incarnation of the MILLENNIUM STARS way back when, but was dropped from CRIMSON due to cost cutting measures. The other is the "forgotten" Ryo Suzuki graduate, Ryosei Royama. Royama was the only member of the "fourth term" of Suzuki graduates in CRIMSON, but was largely forgotten for most of his run before being cut. Sakoda is a pure Junior-Heavyweight, while Royama is a borderline Heavyweight/Junior-Heavyweight, but for right now will compete in the Junior division. Both are slated to make their returns after the current tour has ended.
On a related note, rumors have it that CRIMSON is renewing its relationship with the Ryo Suzuki Dojo to produce new wrestlers for the promotion. The last two to come from the Dojo and into CRIMSON were Akira Tomizaki and Sojiro Sayuki in the "fifth term". Right now it's uncertain when young wrestlers will begin to debut for CRIMSON, but Suzuki is said to have several wrestlers under development that could be brought up soon.
For reference, here is the breakdown of the "Terms" that have come to CRIMSON. There have been five, and outside of the fourth each one has produced multiple wrestlers for CRIMSON. These "terms" aren't the total output of the Ryo Suzuki Dojo, but simply the ones who have come to CRIMSON from the working relationship, and all debuted within weeks or months of the others in their term.
First Term: Nobuyori Shimizu, Hayato Saigo & Tenshin Komatsu
Second Term: Millennium S.K., Aku Toyota, Yujiro Higuchi
Third Term: Takayuki Ariwa, Kazuki Takagi & Ryoma Inoue
Fourth Term: Ryosei Royama
Fifth Term: Akira Tomizaki & Sojiro Sayuki
On top of that, there have been wrestlers who came through the system but are no longer with CRIMSON; including Hachiro Yakuta, Kensuke Kenashi and Kojiro Kanesaka. The returning Natsuo Sakoda is also a graduate of the system. There are others like Keiji Hirano and Kenjiro Amagawa who trained for a period of time at the Dojo as well, but are not officially considered graduates.
