Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ~ Power Source Tournament Day Four ~ 05/16/07

The final group stages match for Nobuyori Shimizu ended in a crushing defeat. Shimizu entered the match with a heavy brace on his right arm to keep it from being moved, and attempted to fight Rouzeki-GUN’s Goro Iijima in the main event. Iijima who smelt the blood like a shark immediately targeted the arm with kicks, before ripping off the brace and putting Shimizu in a Fujiwara Armbar. Shimizu survived the hold, but Iijima simply yanked him back into the center of the ring and applied the GORO Stretch! Shimizu attempted to hold on, but the pain was finally too much and he submitted within eight minutes! Help rushed to Shimizu’s aid, and he had to be helped to the back and rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Makoto Saito’s dreams of getting four points in the Power Source tournament went up in flames as he was cradled by Eiichi Aihara! It was a shocking upset, as Saito had controlled most of the match but the trickery of Aihara proved to be the deciding factor as he caught a Saito kick and then rolled both of them forward into a cradle of the upset three count! Saito was livid post match, but could do nothing about the shocking outcome.

Rouzeki-GUN clashed in the second tournament match of the night, as Tenshin Komatsu took on the big Aku Toyota. Before Aku’s change of heart this match would have been a no-brainer, but with his “Power Revival” Aku Toyota proved to be more then a challenge for Komatsu! Komatsu found himself struggling with Toyota’s power and speed until he was caught by surprise with a MASSIVE running lariat for the shocking pinfall! No one in the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium could believe what they saw as Aku Toyota has become the FIRST wrestler to make it to the semi finals! Aku Toyota’s former partner Yujiro Higuchi faced Kenjiro Amagawa in the first tournament match. The deciding factor of the match wasn’t power, speed, or ability but instead Amagawa’s tactical genius which allowed him to isolate Yujiro’s strengths with his own strengths. Higuchi was continually frustrated that his power wasn’t helping him, which allowed Amagawa to spear Higuchi for the three count and two points to keep his tournament dream alive!

Millennium S.K’s due date for Akira Tomizaki’s new character was today, as in the third match of the night it was S.K., SLAYER & Tomizaki vs. Keoni Murata, Ryoma Inoue & Sojiro Sayuki. S.K. read a card with Tomizaki’s character on it, and then REFUSED to introduce Tomizaki as Mariachi music began to play! Tomizaki walked out wearing a sombrero, tight white shorts, white wrist tape and boots all the while continually playing to the crowd to a positive reaction. Once in the ring, Tomizaki took off the sombrero to reveal that he had dyed his hair black again! Tomizaki and S.K. had a staring contest as Tomizaki waited for S.K. to introduce him, which S.K. refused to do. Tomizaki finally took the microphone and announced himself as “El Gran Tomizaki”! Tomizaki clarified that he was the greatest Junior in the world, and had to travel to Mexico for a challenge, where they dubbed him “The Great Tomizaki” because of his stunning moves and his fierce skill in battle! S.K. finally had had enough, walked over, and slapped Tomizaki in the back of the head hard enough to drop him to the mat whiling screaming “STUPID!”. The match itself was disjointed. MILLENNIUM STARS would get the advantage through double teaming, but El Gran Tomizaki would refuse to engage in such behavior because it wasn’t fair play, believing in the technico tradition. S.K. at one point became so angry he began to violently shake before yelling at SLAYER to “DEAL WITH HIM!” before leaving the ring to collect his thoughts. SLAYER, of course, said nothing. The fans rallied behind Tomizaki due to the skill he showed while playing fair, but that wouldn’t help him in the end. Tomizaki attempted a diving DDT from the top rope, but Murata simply side stepped Tomizaki, sending him crashing to the floor and covered Tomizaki for the three count! After match, S.K. launched into a violent rant on Tomizaki, calling him stupid and worthless; however, to the surprise of all in the ring, the fans began to chant for Tomizaki! S.K. looked dumbfounded before asking the fans if they liked the El Gran Tomizaki character, which received a positive reaction from the fans! S.K. relented and said that he would give the El Gran Tomizaki character one more shot, but that Tomizaki had to show more “fire” and “killer instinct” next time. Tomizaki readily agreed, and for once all of MILLENNIUM STARS left as a unit!

It took over half the tour, but Yuki Nomura has finally gotten one over on his massive challenger. In the second match, the teams that both men headed clashed, but it wasn’t due to their own abilities that the match was decided like it was. Instead, it was their backup support as Toshiro Noguchi stepped up the plate on Nomura’s team and got the win over Kazuki Takagi with the Thunder Hammer to continue his productive tour! Yoritomo threatened Nomura post-match, saying that when they clash on the 30th, there won’t be anyone to help save Nomura!

In the first match of the night, saw Hayato Saigo and Akahito Yamada defeat Naoki Daishi and Hanzo Hijiyama rather easily. Daishi and Hijiyama did not mesh at all, and at the end of the match Daishi turned on Hijiyama, dropping him with a Northern Lights Bomb which allowed Yamada to gain the victory with the Musbime!
