[CRIMSON] 5/10/10 @ Amarune Town Gymnasium ~ POWER SOURCE Night Four

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's tradition continued with the final first round matches of the 2010 POWER SOURCE tournament! The winner of tonight's two matches will face off on the 12th, two days later in Fukushima!

KYOURUI 6 opened the show up with a solid victory over a combined Bloody Gears/AVENIR team of Strong Tomizaki and Hiroshi Kuroki. The PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions PHOENIX and Keoni Murata displayed their skills as a team over the thrown together tandem. PHOENIX scored the victory after spiking Tomizaki on the back of his head with the Resurrection.

Bloody Gears and AVENIR were in action once again in the second match, but this time at odds. AVENIR's Kaisen Tiger battled Bloody Gears' Kazuya Endo. The former professional judoka fighter put up a strong effort against the always rock solid Kaisen Tiger, but Tiger's abilities proved to be too much for the young superstar. Kaisen Tiger finished off the spirited Endo with the Bullet Wrath...

In the final non-tournament battle of the night, the two men who will face off for the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship, Ikuji Royama and Hayato Saigo were forced to team against the KYOURUI 6 team of Akahito Yamada and Ryoma Inoue. Royama and Saigo had difficulty meshing allowing the KYOURUI 6 team to control early and often. Ikuji Royama “accidentally” missed a high kick cracking Saigo in the side of the head, allowing Ryoma Inoue to score the shocking upset with the BackBeat! Saigo and Royama almost came to blows after the match with Royama maintaining his innocence...

The 2010 POWER SOURCE first round in Block B finished up, first with a battle between the STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY and HEAVY WAR. HEAVY WAR's young power fighter from the Kazuma Fujita dojo Rui Kuriyama battled the man once thought of as the future ace of CRIMSON, Tenshin Komatsu! Kuriyama's power and Komatsu's “strong” fighting met head on with neither man backing down. Kuriyama scored several near falls with the Kuri Lariat, a Death Valley Bomb, and even a Jumping High Kick. Yet Tenshin Komatsu persisted, and ended up throwing a volley of Komatsu Knee Kicks setting up a Sliding Knee Kick to put Kuriyama down for the three count, advancing Komatsu to face the winner of the next match!

C-1 Tag Team Champion Kenjiro Amagawa, fresh off his first ever C-1 Heavyweight Championship challenge faced a stiff test, the assassin from America, former C-2 Openweight and C-1 Tag Team Champion the “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop! The gaijin attacked Amagawa during his entrance, before thrashing Amagawa all around ringside and the Amarune Town Gymnasium itself! Amagawa looked to be out of the match, but in a desperate maneuver countered Bishop's Texan Bomber with a Backdrop Driver! With both wounded, the two traded near falls until Amagawa displayed his fearsome growth, as he blasted Bishop with moves before finishing off the gaijin with the Burning Cataclysm for the three count! With this Amagawa advanced to the semi finals of Block B to face Tenshin Komatsu in two days!

Amagawa performed a microphone appeal post match. Amagawa claimed to have experienced “heaven and hell” when he challenged Nobuyori Shimizu and had grown expoentially as a result! Amagawa promised to win the tournament from here on out, which brought his opponent Tenshin Komatsu to ringside! Komatsu brought up the 2005 POWER SOURCE tournament and how he had made the finals, and the 2007 POWER SOURCE that Komatsu won. Komatsu vowed that 2010 would be “the year” that he finally broke through to reach his potential after being “saved”. Komatsu called Amagawa a 'stepping stone” to victory incensing Amagawa! Both men butted heads in anger, before AVENIR and the STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY separated the two heated warriors...
