The first of the two Semi Final's were decided in Miyagi at the Natori Sport Park. Block A came down to two of the four men still in play. Naoki Daishi vs. Mikio Tsuruya and Akuma Toyota vs. Tetsuhisa NAKAI in their rematch of last year's 7/27 spectacular. Who will go on to 5/14 to face off in the Block A finals?
AVENIR's Hiroshi Kuroki scored a victory to open up the night over Bloody Gears' Strong Tomizaki. Tomizaki attempted several fancy submissions clearly inspired by Tomizaki's recent fasination with professional fighting. None of them worked. Kuroki finished off Tomizaki with the PRISM.
Bloody Gears' remained in the mix with the second bout as Kazuya Enod faced off against KYOURUI 6's Ryoma Inoue. Endo pulled off the upset after forcing both Inoue's to collide, and hitting Ryoma Inoue with the Spiral Blow on the rebound. Tomiko Inoue berated her husband for the collision, who meekly accepted the abuse...
The STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY and AVENIRa KYOURUI 6 were up next against KYOURUI 6, as the team of C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Ikuji Royama, Hayato Saigo & Kaisen Tiger battled KYOURUI 6's PHOENIX, Akahito Yamada and Keoni Murata. Royama and Saigo, with hostilities still paramount from their last match together burst through with both men wildly brawling to the backstage area after a miscalculation. Kaisen Tiger put up a strong effort once left on his own, but the KYOURUI 6 forced overwhelmed him, allowing Yamada to lock in the Crossface of Yamada for the submission.
The final non-tournament battle of the night pitted the former tag team of the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS, Rui Kuriayam and “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop against the most famous team in CRIMSON history, the Neo Generation Idealists of C-1 Heavyweight Champion and best friend Toshiro Noguchi. Both teams fought each other with everything in their power, but in the end, NGI's battle experience paid off with Noguchi flooring Kuriyama with the Thunder Hammer for the fall. Post-match, Kuriyama invited Bishop to join him in HEAVY WAR, but the American only agreed to consider the offer...
HEAVY WAR and KYOURUI 6 collided in the first of the two semi final battles in Block A. HEAVY WAR's Naoki Daishi took on the much larger Mikio Tsurya of KYOURUI 6. From the opening bell, Daishi set a blistering pace attempting to fully wear out the questionable gas tank of Tsuruya. Tsuruya admirably kept up for a lengthy period of time before seemingly tiring. KYOURUI 6 at ringside intervened at this juncture, rampantly interfering to help their second in command. However, Maskazu Fujimoto, Rui Kuriyama, and an assist from Jake Bishop helped even the odds significantly. Tsuruya nearly claimed victory with the Akuji Backdrop Driver, however Daishi flipped out of the maneuver before hitting his own Backdrop! With Tsuruya stunned, Daishi BLASTED Tsuruya with a kick before spiking him with a Northern Lights Bomb! Daishi covered for the flash three count and advancement to the finals of Block A!
The time had come for the rematch of the biggest match in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's history, Akuma Toyota versus Tetsuhisa NAKAI! NAKAI was flanked by his new best friends from FURY, Daisuke Iwata, RYUJI, and Manabe Tsuji while Toyota had HEAVY WAR in his corner with “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop noticeably missing after the assist earlier. The two eyed each other up with a tense atmosphere at ringside with the opposing factions. Finally the match begun and the two charged at each other!
Toyota and NAKAI picked up right where they left off in 2009 with a brutal affair from the opening bell. Both men's chests were bright red with abuse. Just minutes into the battle, KYOURUI 6 suddenly launched an attack at ringside on HEAVY WAR! Within a split second, the two factions had disappeared leaving Akuma Toyota alone against NAKAI and his allies. Toyota characteristically paid no heed as he charged into battle, but not only was Toyota facing NAKAI but also three other men! After both men collided with lariats Toyota spilled out of the ring in a heap...With NAKAI distracting referee Hanzo Hijiyama, NAKAI's allies pounced. WILD STYLE assisted Iwata in lifting Toyota to hit the ASSATSU DRIVER ON THE FLOOR! The three scattered as Hijiyama returned ...The result, much to NAKAI's amusement..was a ring out! Awarding NAKAI the victory and advancement to the Finals of Block A!
With HEAVY WAR returning to the scene NAKAI insulted Toyota, claiming that Toyota was “half a man” as a FURY wrestler to be put away so easily! NAKAI pointed at Naoki Daishi, a man NAKAI holds a significant size advantage over, and begged the former junior-heavyweight to give him a fight on the 14th! Daishi with the Miyagi fans encouragement promised to make NAKAI submit on the 14th no matter what! NAKAI laughed before BLASTING Daishi in the face with an elbow! Daishi fell backwards, as NAKAI laughed while wondering if this was the best CRIMSON could do...
