[CRIMSON] 9/16/09 ~ News ~ C-1 Heavyweight Champion...Mikio Tsuruya?!

Mikio Tsuruya continued his villainous actions after Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's RISE UP in Yokohama ended. Tsuruya, apparently unsatisfied with his in-ring attack on Akuma Toyota, according to reports attacked the C-1 Heavyweight Champion as Toyota left the building. In front of scattered fans, Tsuruya viciously attacked Toyota once again with a chain easily gaining the advantage over the weakened champion, only to set up a killing blow. To the shock of the gathering crowd, Tsuruya lifted the C-1 Heavyweight Champion and gave him the Murder Carnival, a double underhook piledriver on the CEMENT! Tsuruya fled from the scene of the crime when Yuki Nomura led AVENIR to the scene. However, Tsuruya managed to steal the C-1 Heavyweight Championship off the ground while fleeing. By that point the damage had been done. Medical help rushed to Akuma Toyota, who was placed in a neck brace, placed on a stretcher and taken to a nearby hospital in an ambulance. As of right now, the only confirmation of Toyota's status is that Toyota has not suffered a significant neck injury, but has suffered a concussion and moderate neck sprains.

There is no word on the status of the C-1 Heavyweight Championship which now resides in Mikio Tsuruya's possession, nor is there any information on the possible punishment for Tsuruya's actions.
