The final night of the Group Stages of the POWER SOURCE tournament took place at Takanosu Town Gymnasium in front of a completely overfilled crowd. Before the show kicked off, a surprise was in store for the crowd as the “Supreme Commander” Tatsumichi Akamatsu appeared in front of the throng of fans! Akamatsu gave a brief statement, and declared for his “mission” he wouldn’t be stopped on the 24th against Stephen Priest…He then gave a cryptic comment, that there would be something taking place on the 24th beyond his match and the POWER SOURCE winner being bestowed…but in usual Akamatsu way, the hyperbole ended at that, leaving it dangling in the wind…
Mikio Tsuruya was granted with two points due to Nobuyori Shimizu being unable to wrestle…Shimizu appeared in front of the crowd, and announced that his shoulder wasn’t as bad as it had been feared, but that the possibility had existed for the massive tear to develop once again…with that, Shimizu revealed that he had been pulled from the 24th event as well, but said that he would aim for a speedy return to the rings of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON!
The first real tournament match of the night saw the newest Ryo Suzuki graduate in CRIMSON, Shuji Kawashima take on the BLACKHEARTS Keiji Hirano in singles competition. Hirano and Kawashima exchanged blisteringly quick exchanges to open the match up, however Kawashima still has yet to develop anything beyond his quickness, and Hirano easily took control of the match. Hirano dropped Kawashima with a release German Suplex…Hirano then yelled out “SHINING HORSE!” before running at Kawashima, leapt off Kawashima’s raised knee, spun in mid air and landed a double reverse kick to Kawashima’s chest! Kawashima flipped over from the impact, and Hirano covered for the three count victory to put himself in hot contention in Block B! Backstage, Hirano commented that he had gotten the idea of the “Shining Horse” from watching clips of a Horse kicking a man on the internet…Kawashima was asked about the POWER SOURCE experience, and despite struggling to speak, Kawashima spoke favorably of the experience, and that next year he aimed to do better then he had done this year…
The second tournament match of the night saw Kenjiro Amagawa marching into battle against the BLACKHEARTS’ “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop and his six points. Kenjiro Amagawa had nothing to fight for except his own pride, while Jake Bishop was fighting for the possibility of advancement in the tournament…The “Texas Outlaw” was prepared for Kenjiro Amagawa’s new tactic of starting a match out slowly to get a tactical advantage, and jumped Amagawa before the bell, blasting him with a punch with Bishop’s fist covered with a black glove! Bishop beat on Amagawa for several minutes, including attempting to put out the Backdrop Brother with his Texas Claw Hold; however Amagawa fought to the ropes. A turning point of the match was when Bishop went for a big boot in the corner, only to have Amagawa dive out of the way, and then chop block Bishop as he was caught on the top rope! Amagawa assaulted Bishop’s knee with pinpoint attacks including modified dragon screws, and submission holds, before locking Bishop in his Figure Four! Bishop fought and fought, even going as far as to punch Amagawa dead in the face, but he could not escape Amagawa’s hold, and was forced to submit! After the match, Amagawa was asked to evaluate his preformence in the POWER SOURCE…Amagawa commented that he felt that he had “leveled up” due to going 3-2-1 in the tournament…Bishop on the other hand refused to give comments, and even went as far as to throw a chair at reporters, causing them to flee before being hit by it…
The third tournament match saw a match with two people who literally had nothing to fight for, except the distinction of finishing second to last, and last, respectively. The BLACKHEARTS’ Rui Kuriyama took on the “tank” Eisaku Shimura in singles competition. There wasn’t much to the match, as Kuriyama had difficulty doing anything to Shimura and his incredible ability to absorb punishment. Kuriyama used his superior speed to avoid Shimura’s lumbering blows, but couldn’t deal his own knockout blow to finish Shimura off, leading to a stale mate…Eventually, at ringside Keiji Hirano had seen enough, and cracked Eisaku Shimura with a chair as he came off the ropes…Eisaku’s armor cracked, and he walked right into Kuriyama’s “Kuri Lariat”, for the three count fall! Backstage, Kuriyama was actually angry with Hirano, demanding to know why he had gotten involved…Hirano simply replied that he had gotten bored at ringside. Shimura was harsh on himself, saying that he considered the POWER SOURCE a “failure” and that he hadn’t been able to get anything going…He promised that next time he would be able to do more then he did here.
The most important match of the night was in the semi final position. The winner of Block B of the POWER SOURCE would be decided by who won the match between NGI’s Hiroyuki Takano, and the BLACKHEARTS Akuma Toyota, making it the fourth straight match with a BLACKHEART member in it…Toyota seemed to take Takano lightly, seemingly not feeling that he was on his level. He slapped Takano, and during a lock up used his power to push Takano into the corner before tauntingly shoving his head back and forth with his forearm. Toyota then proceeded to pose as the fans booed him…but when he turned around, Takano landed the Takano Flash! Toyota stumbled visibly, and Takano hooked him and dropped him with the Takano Driver, but Toyota kicked out at 2.9 to keep his dreams of winning Block B alive! Toyota rolled out of the ring to regain his bearings, but Takano climbed to the top rope and dove off onto Toyota, Hirano, and Kuriyama at ringside with a senton atomico! When Takano reached his feet, he was BLINDSIDED by Jake Bishop and the Texan Bomber! Toshiro Noguchi, who had the night off charged across the ring and began to violently brawl with Jake Bishop as both Toyota and Takano recovered on the floor as the referee counted them out…Both recovered at around the same time, but Toyota grabbed Takano by his hair and violently threw him face first into the ring post before crawling in the ring. Takano barely managed to roll into the ring when the count reached 19, keeping himself in the match. Toyota seemed to take Takano much more seriously after what Takano had nearly pulled off, and began to brutalize his smaller opponent with brutal shots, including clubbing blows, a running knee to the face of a kneeling Takano, and a Death Valley Bomb, however Takano refused to go down so easily, right at the point of reaching his goal of winning Block B, and fought on to the approval of the crowd! Noguchi rallied the fans behind Takano, resulting in a large chant of Takano’s name as he tried to fight back against the overwhelming power of Toyota. Toyota attempted the Akuma Ichimoni, but had trouble lifting Takano, as Takano hooked both the bottom and top rope with his feet and hands respectively, to keep Toyota from lifting him in the air. Toyota let go of Takano, and attempted a Lariat, however Takano ducked under and Toyota went flying over the top rope under his own power! Toyota slowly pulled himself up onto the apron, but Takano BLASTED him with the Takano Flash, nearly KO’ing Toyota, and causing him to crash to the floor flat on his back with a thud! Takano rested on the mat as the count on the outside was raised, but Toyota managed to get himself back on the apron…Takano attempted the Takano Flash a second time in that position, but Toyota Lariat’d Takano’s leg as it flew towards him! Takano grabbed his leg in pain, as Toyota grabbed his head and snapped his neck onto the top rope, sending Takano flying into the middle of the ring! Toyota climbed in, and landed several hard clubbing blows to Takano’s neck and shoulders before running in the ropes…and bounced off the ropes three times to reach absolute maximum velocity before BEHEADING Takano with a lariat! Takano flipped onto his neck from the force, and laid almost unmoving. Noguchi began to scream at Takano to get up, as Toyota pulled him to his feet, hooked him and planted him with the Akuma Ichimonji, and scored the three count victory and the sealing of Block A! Toyota celebrated his winning of Block A with all the members of the BLACKHEART…Even the “Supreme Commander” arrived at the press area, and congratulated his disciple for his accomplishment, but gave wise advise when he told him that the fight wasn’t over for their ideal of total victory…Takano had a tough time speaking after his beating, but had positive things to say, saying that CRIMSON had been a new beast, but one that he felt he was beginning to tame more and more with every match…
Despite being the main event of the night, there was little buzz surrounding the battle between Seiji Ebisawa and Takayuki Ariwa in the final block match of the entire tournament. Seiji Ebisawa on the last show sealed Block A. However, when Takayuki Ariwa came out, you could see none of that disinterest, as his eyes seemingly burned with a fire inside of his warrior’s heart. Across the ring from him, was one of the “pillars” of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON who looked to accomplished what only one man had done before…Himself. He aimed to sweep the Block stages to put an exclamation mark on his return to Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON…When the bell rang, the crowd barely reacted as the two men stared at each other…Seiji Ebisawa offered his hand to the young Takayuki Ariwa in a sign of respect…However, Ariwa SLAPPED Ebisawa in the face which instantly gained him a strong reaction from the fans for his audacity. Ebisawa grabbed his cheek, before responding with his own vicious slap to Ariwa’s face! The young power fight held his face in pain…before he ROARED in defiance AND HIT THE ANGELOS AS QUICKLY AS LIGHTENING! Ebisawa reeled from the immense power of Ariwa’s signature lariat maneuver…However; Ebisawa’s years of in-ring experience came into play as he stumbled out of the ring to clear his head. In the ring, Ariwa began to egg Ebisawa on, but the veteran did not give in to the temptation to let anger overtake him like Ariwa had allowed it to do to himself. Ebisawa calmly climbed back into the ring, and the two locked up. Despite his eagerness and power, Ariwa immediately had difficultly dealing with Seiji Ebisawa’s expertise at grappling, as Ebisawa flowed from hold to hold, focusing on Ariwa’s arms. He neither targeted, nor focused on one arm, instead he went from arm to arm, and with the idea of lowering Ariwa’s arm strength in both…He wasn’t trying to wound Ariwa in order to finish him, but instead just make it so he wouldn’t hit him so damn hard. Ebisawa never put Ariwa in a position where he could be submitted, but at the same time, he kept Ariwa from his base of wrestling and power, which seemed to just frustrate and infuriate Ariwa more and more. Ebisawa was behind Ariwa with a hammerlock, when Ariwa’s patience suddenly snapped and he violent threw himself into the corner, squashing Ebisawa with tremendous force! When Ebisawa refused to let go, Ariwa began to rapidly pull them out of the corner and then SLAM, they would go back into the turnbuckle. Despite his pitbull like tenacity towards retaining the arm, even Seiji Ebisawa was forced to let go of the arm…and after several minutes of working on both arms, all that he was really accomplished was he knotted up Ariwa’s arms, and pissed him off. Ariwa was quick to explode onto offense by nailing Ebisawa in the corner with several vicious lariat like strikes, before grabbing him and hurling him over his head and almost onto his neck with a release belly to belly suplex! Ebisawa attempted to get to his feet to fight back, but Ariwa lowered his shoulder and ran at Ebisawa, and like a semi truck running into a compact, Ebisawa was sent flying through the air, and rolled to the floor! However, Ariwa’s inexperience shown again as it does every so often, as he attempted a PLANCHA…Only to have Ebisawa casually walk away as he sailed through the air, and Ariwa splattered to the ground in a heap. Ebisawa himself was quick to capitalize much like Ariwa had been just a minute or two prior. He rolled Ariwa into the ring and climbed up to the top rope before coming off with a diving knee drop to Ariwa’s shoulders! Ebisawa covered, but Ariwa kicked out at two, showing that there was still much fight left in the man. Ebisawa was undaunted and slowly began to rip the armor and Ariwa’s weapons right off. Now Ebisawa began to attack Ariwa’s arms with intensity and force, dropping knees, contorting them, and trying whatever he could to make Ariwa’s life a living hell. At one point, Ebisawa tied Ariwa’s arm in the ropes and began to drop knee after knee on Ariwa’s unprotected arm until the referee was able to restrain him and Ariwa freed himself. After minutes of ripping and tearing at Ariwa’s right arm to try and keep him from using the Angelos, it would be Ebisawa who made the mistake this time. Ebisawa charged into the ropes, looking to land a strike of some kind…only to have Ariwa spring off the ground in one motion and DECAPITATE HIM WITH A LARIAT! Both men collapsed to the ground as the fans began to cheer both on for their mixture of hard fighting and technical brawling. Both men reached their feet…Ariwa then suddenly HEADBUTTED Ebisawa as hard as possible directly in the face! The crowd groaned as Ebisawa reeled with a glassy look in his eyes….Ariwa stumbled from his own tactic, but then noticed that Ebisawa was worse off…He roared…AND HIT THE ANGELOS…ONLY TO HAVE EBISAWA STILL STAND! The crowd wildly cheered as Ebisawa had recovered and had blocked it at the last moment with his arms…The two then began to struggle almost as it was a sword with both of them pressing on with their might…Ebisawa realized that they were getting no where, as he kicked Ariwa in the midsection, then hooked him and DROVE him on his head with an Exploder! Ebisawa covered…but Ariwa kicked out at one! Ariwa began to pull himself up to his feet; belligerent to the end…Ebisawa hooked him for the Wrist Clutch Exploder and then DROPPED HIM ON HIS HEAD WITH IT! HOWEVER ARIWA INSTANTLY JUMPED TO HIS FEET AND LANDED THE SURPRISED EBISAWA WITH A FULL FORCE ANGELOS! The crowd ROARED as Ariwa collapsed on top of Ebisawa for the pinfall…ONLY TO HAVE EBISAWA KICK OUT! Both men laid exhausted on the mat, but it was Ariwa who stood up first, holding his head and neck with his hand…Ebisawa slowly began to pull himself up, like he had been hit by a truck…He stood up…ONLY TO BE TAKEN DOWN WITH A SECOND ANGELOS! The crowd cheered…but Ariwa didn’t cover Ebisawa…Instead he pulled the nearly unconscious Ebisawa to his feet, and put him in a Powerbomb position…He hoisted Ebisawa up and put him in a crucifix using his arms and then threw Ebisawa upwards CRUSHING EBISAWA WITH A SPLASH MOUNTAIN!! The crowd came alive for the pinfall…as Ebisawa had no answer for the ungodly strong move, giving Ariwa the single biggest victory of his entire career! Most of the crowd rose to their feet and began to cheer on both men, as seconds poured into the ring to tend to the two fallen wrestlers. After they had been scrapped off the mat, Ariwa was giving comments to the press about how much his victory meant when Seiji Ebisawa walked in front of him…Ebisawa spoke in a low tone, and called Ariwa’s power one of the scariest things he had ever faced…He reached out and the two shook hands, before Ebisawa asked if he’d be willing to team with him in the future possible…Ariwa considered the idea, but then agreed with a nod of his head.

Kenjiro Amagawa [7]
Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop [6]
Rui Kuriyama [2]

Seiji Ebisawa had nothing to lose except history, but Takayuki Ariwa had everything to gain. With his amazing upset victory, Takayuki Ariwa has earned the second spot from Block A with the man he just defeated Seiji Ebisawa…Toshiro Noguchi once again tastes the possibility of a semi final, but ends up falling short. While Kenjiro Amagawa finally showed off his growth by making the top four with seven points. Jake Bishop’s tournament hopes ended with a failure as he only amassed three tournament victories…Rui Kuriyama’s sole victory was over Eisaku Shimura, and the “tank” needs to figure out some firepower before next year’s tournament as he ended with no points.
Block B:
Akuma Toyota [10]
Hiroyuki Takano [8]
Izumo Yoritomo [8]
Keiji Hirano [8]
Mikio Tsuruya [4]
Nobuyori Shimizu [4]
Shuji Kawashima [0]
Despite the scare that Izumo Yoritomo handed him, Akuma Toyota’s victory over Hiroyuki Takano sealed Block B for the BLACKHEART’s Captain at ten points…However, the second spot is a cluster as Takano, Yoritomo, and Hirano all finished with exactly the same point tallies…and a triangle situation as all men have a win over the other. There is no current idea of who has advanced into the second position.. Nobuyori Shimizu shockingly only got sixth after he had to pull out due to his injury, which moves Tsuruya up to fifth in the block…

Block A:
Seiji Ebisawa [10]
Takayuki Ariwa [9]
Toshiro Noguchi [8]
Kenjiro Amagawa [7]
Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop [6]
Rui Kuriyama [2]
Eisaku Shimura [0]
