The second to last day of the POWER SOURCE moved to Niigata Phase, where a near sellout watched the event take place...In the main event, it would decide who won Block A, as the former two time C-1 Heavyweight Champion Seiji Ebisawa took on a man he had met many times before, current one half of the C-1 Tag Team Champions Toshiro Noguchi in singles action. Early reports say the match was a throwback to "old" style heavyweight matches with a deliberately slow pace, and the two fighting over holds. The match began to get dangerously long for both men, and the intensity was turned up several notches, as both men nailed the other with their strongest moves in order to get the advantage. Ebisawa attempted to finish the match with his Exploder, Powerbomb Hold, and even tried the Free Spirit Finale, however, Noguchi survived it all, and tried to finish Ebisawa with his Thunder Hammer, Tokkan, and a Powerbomb of his own...It would be Ebisawa's rarely used "Limit break" finisher of a Wrist-Clutch Exploder, spiking Noguchi on his head around the 24 minute mark to score the three count, the two points, and to seal the A Block! Ebisawa and Noguchi only had positive things to say about each other post-match, with Noguchi just stating that he was torn between rooting on Ariwa, and hoping his lost on the final tournament date...
Akuma Toyota, fresh off losing to ZERO Kubota in CRIMSON came face to face with an enraged sumo that has a vendetta against the BLACKHEARTS, Izumo Yoritomo in singles competition. There's no way to pretty up what the two did to each other, as they beat each other senseless with hard strikes for most of the match. Toyota was more than willing to meet Yoritomo with straight power, but Toyota had a hard time damaging Yoritomo, who just plowed through Toyota's strikes like the near invincible tank that he is...Toyota seemed to get exhausted from his relentless attack on Yoritomo, and most likely due to his excursion to FURY the night before, which allowed Yoritomo to establish his presence in the match with horribly violent blows and throws. Toyota managed to survive an absolutely gigantic Nodowa-otoshi, and the Sea's Typhoon Ozeki, but after a second Ozeki, Yoritomo climbed to the top rope and flew off with the Storm Surge, CRUSHING Toyota under his immense girth for the three count fall, and Toyota's first loss in the tournament! Toyota was furious at the lack of help from the BLACKHEARTS, but it was Rui Kuriyama who revealed that Akamatsu had ordered them to not get involved, to remind Toyota who he'd be without them...Toyota looked like a volcano about to erupt, but just walked away, seeming to have learned his lesson...
NGI and the BLACKHEARTS clashed in the third tournament match of the night as the young power fighter of Takayuki Ariwa took on the BLACKHEARTS foreign threat, Jake Bishop in singles competition. There was little in the way of subtlety in the match, as both simply just crashed into each other with fury. However, in the end, it was Takayuki Ariwa who stood tall after nearly decapitating Jake Bishop with his Angelos for the three count fall!
Keiji Hirano scored a lifeline victory in the second tournament match of the night against Mikio Tsuruya. Tsuruya has only managed one victory in the tournament thus far, and was unable to keep up with Keiji Hirano's speed, before eventually falling to Hirano's Moonsault Press for the victory.
Kenjiro Amagawa received two more points, as he soundly defeated the BLACKHEARTS warrior Rui Kuriyama with a Backdrop Hold. Despite not being able to advance in the tournament, Amagawa's victory raises his worth some more...
In the opening match, Natsuo Sakoda debuted a new move in his quest to challenge for the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship, as he hit the massive DRAGON Takagi with a Swandive DDT, he has dubbed the "CRASH-UP", his first non-Zoids named move...

With tonight's win, Seiji Ebisawa has sealed Block A. No one can beat him on points. He also has the chance to do what only he has ever done before, and sweep the block stages. The second spot is still up in the air. Toshiro Noguchi has no more tournament matches (Ironically, he was in this position last year as well), while Takayuki Ariwa has pulled into the third spot, and Bishop has remained at six points as well…If Ariwa beats Ebisawa, he gets the second spot. If Ariwa and Bishop both lose, Noguchi makes it in. If Bishop wins and Ariwa loses then he makes it in.
Block B:
Akuma Toyota [8]
Hiroyuki Takano [8]
Izumo Yoritomo [8]
Keiji Hirano [6]
Nobuyori Shimizu [4]
Mikio Tsuruya [2]
Shuji Kawashima [0]
Akuma Toyota's lead has amazingly been stopped. Izumo Yoritomo was the man who handed Toyota his first tournament loss, and Hiroyuki Takano also won his match by forfeit which has created a jackknife situation at the top of the charts. On the outside looking in is Keiji Hirano, who in theory could win his match, and possibly create a playoff scenario. Izumo Yoritomo has no more tournament matches, so his fate is no longer in his hands. The match between Toyota and Takano will decide who wins Block B…Shimizu, Tsuruya, and Kawashima have all been knocked out of the tournament.
