[CRIMSON] 8/12/10 ~ Iwate Memorial Cup Opening Round

- Freelancer Izumo Yoritomo "embraced the true meaning of Okinawa" by coming to the ring wearing a Hawaiian shirt and eating a Watermelon to team with the top two of the Okinawa Speed Stars in Saigo and Ota...The "new" Okinawa Speed Stars proved to be too much for their junior opponents of Tomizaki, Endo & Ogura. Saigo ended the match by using Izumo Yoritomo's shoulders as a launchpad to hit a Moonsault Press on Ogura. FURY's Kotaro Ota and CRIMSON's Hayato Saigo praised Yoritomo for his efforts to fit in. However, Yoritomo balked at the concept of wearing a jumpsuit like theirs when Ota propositioned the idea...

- The inter-promotional WILD ANIMAL ADVENTURE put down a spirited effort from NANSEI's former top heel group of the Pacific Rim Exchange. The three masked animal displayed fine teamwork as they circumvented the size advantage of the PRE team. GALLEON scored the victory over the Junior Prince Fiji with the Dividing Driver to advance to the second round.

- Yuki Nomura's daughter Chihiro Nomura was given a harsh introduction to the male side of Pro-Wrestling. Chihiro teamed with Takayuki Ariwa and Toshiro Noguchi to face the KYOURUI 6 team of TsuYamada and PHOENIX. Ariwa and Noguchi throughout the match attempted to protect their President's daughter much to the dissatisfaction of both Chihiro Nomura and Akahito Yamada who took a "special" interest in Nomura...Yamada kept attempting to capture Nomura, and even put her in several...questionable submission holds. Nomura fought back and wounded Yamada with a slap. Yamada stumbled back right into a Thunder Hammer from Noguchi. Chihiro then caught Yamada with a Legroll Clutch for the fast three count! Joy turned to concern as Akahito Yamada announced that this wasn't over between him and the "oujo-chan" as Yamada licked the blood from his lip from Nomura's slap much to Chihiro's dismay.

- The former three members of AVENIR racked up a major victory this time against HEAVY WAR. Akuma Toyota as always dominated the match but faced stiff opposition from the three new STRONGEST members. Shinsuke Takahashi would score the victory for his team by blasting Naoki Daishi in the face with the Clutching Knee. Toyota was unamused by his team's struggles to defeat “weaklings” and suggested putting a ban on teaming with his own allies until they “strengthen” themselves...

- Ryoma Inoue's first opportunity for revenge alongside his new AVENIR allies ended with a crushing defeat. KYOURUI 6 with well traveled freelancer Kojiro Kanesaka were just too much for Hirano, Kawashima, and Inoue to best. Inoue himself was given the unenviable position as the fall dropper, as Unified Openweight Champion Hiroyuki Takano planted Inoue with the Kubikari Driller for the loss...Takano, once again displaying his snake like-dual personality, praised Inoue for attempting to get stronger and his growing family...But then coldly warned that if Inoue kept attempting to seek revenge KYOURUI 6 would make Ryoma regret his decision...

- The odd inter-promotional team of C-1 Heavyweight Champion Nobuyori Shimizu, FURY's Chikao Kessin & HEAVY WAR's Rui Kuriyama proved to be an effective team as they stream rolled through their European competition with limited troubles. Kessin sealing the victory over Johnny Smash with the Sekai Ichi no Backdrop. Backstage, Shimizu admitted that he had doubted their abilities as a team but stated that he felt they combined effectively as a unit. Their moment of solidarity was disrupted, as their opponents for the second round (and second night) Bloody Gears interrupted. As always Komatsu bombastically challenged their "mishmash" team to defeat their "true" team much to Shimizu's frustration. Komatsu and Royama walked off leaving Makoto Saito standing with UNDYING HEART. In his usual cool and collected manner, Makoto suddenly asked Shimizu for a C-1 Heavyweight Championship match! Shimizu replied that Saito had to "earn" it like everyone else. Saito nodded his head in agreement and walked off leaving his second night opponents apprehensive...
