[CRIMSON] 7/21/10 ~ News

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON has a historic love of great theme songs and thus promotional tie ups with great bands, however, none of CRIMSON's tie ups with musical artists have been as famous or profitable as with the ever popular heavy metal band Onmyo-za. The Japanese folklore inspired band have supplied several songs to Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON as part of their arrangement over the years, including most famously theme music for both Akuma Toyota (Oni Koroshi) and Nobuyori Shimizu (Ikiru Koto to Mitsuketari).

Earlier today, Onmyo-za took a small vacation from their current national tour of Japan, titled “Continue, Ikiru Koto to Mitsuketari" to pay a visit to the Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON offices just days before Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's historic BATTLE ZONE event. The two lead singers of Onmyo-za Kuroneko and Matatabi both personally visited with Yuki Nomura and C-1 Heavyweight Champion Nobuyori Shimizu with press present. Onmyo-za thanked Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON for giving the band an outlet for their music, citing Ikiru Koto to Mitsuketari's rise in popularity at the same time Nobuyori Shimizu began using it, even to the extent that it is the flagship song of their current tour. Shimizu instead maintained that the "wonderful aspect" of the song is the reason for the song's popularity...

Onmyo-za and Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON vowed to continue their "collaboration" in the future as Onmyo-za prepares to release their 11th Studio album. However, Matatabi and Kuroneko announced their intentions to have Nobuyori Shimizu appear as a special guest for their tour ending concert in September at JCB Hall! Matatabi warned that if Shimizu lost the C-1 Heavyweight Championship before then the deal may be off...The comment was clearly intended as a joke, however, Shimizu vowed once again that he would "refuse" to lose the C-1 Heavyweight Championship. Not only for himself, but as to not damage the "wonderful song" they had given him...

Kuroneko, Matatabi, Nomura & Shimizu all posed for pictures as Shimizu vowed to "continue finding out how to live" as C-1 Heavyweight Champion!
