[CRIMSON] 4/26/09 @ Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium

The final event before the annual biggest tournament of the year for Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON saw CRIMSON return to the sacred home arena of CRIMSON, the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium. The opening match saw Yankizoku score a victory over AVENIR, as Keiji Hirano finally got back on track after months of slumping as he spiked Hiroshi Kuroki on his head with an Arm-Trap German Suplex Hold for the three count.

The second bout of the night saw Kenjiro Amagawa and Shinsuke Takahashi rebound off their disappointing challenge for the C-1 Tag Team Championships as they beat the dysfunctional team of the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS SLAYER and STRONGEST Shuji Kawashima, who displayed unsurprisingly absolutely no team work whatsoever. In the end, Takahashi scored the win, blasting Kawashima with the White Flash for the three count...After the match, Amagawa and Takahashi both declared their quest for the C-1 Tag Team Championships was far from over...

A scary situation developed in the third match, as Hayato Saigo and Millennium S.K. teamed up to take on the top contenders to the C-1 Tag Team Championships, "ShinoMura" of Shino Hiriyama and Kazuhiro Okamura. The match was back and forth with neither team dominating; however, ShinoMura used a Double Team Backdrop/Neckbreaker combination that seemed to spike S.K. on the back of his head with extra force...A scary moment passed as S.K. laid motionless on the mat. S.K. began to slowly pull himself up, but, Okamura picked up S.K. and gave him the KO Cutter before covering for the three count. Immediately after the match, President Yuki Nomura led assistance to Millennium S.K., and ferried S.K. to the back to be taken to the hospital.

The fourth match faced the difficulty of a crowd heavily distracted by the events prior, but OVERTHROW and the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS clashed in a heated tag team match in a continuation of their feud from late last year. However, unlike all their prior confrontations, it would be OVERTHROW that would emerge victorious, as Naoki Daishi locked Kuriyama in a Jujigatame, forcing the heavyweight to submit. Daishi took a microphone after the match, and told the fans and the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS, that it didn't matter who was bigger, or stronger, but that technique and heart will always come out on top, and promised a strong showing in the Power Source this year! Kuriyama, in turn, promised to "tear his head off" on the first night of the tournament...

Akuma Toyota, Nobuyori Shimizu, and Masakazu Fujimoto on paper seem to be an awe inspiring team, however, they were clearly bested tonight in the fifth match by the Yankizoku team of C-1 Tag Team Champions Takayuki Ariwa and Hiroyuki Takano along with Mikio Tsuruya. It wasn't for lack of strength, but instead the surprising rise of Yankizoku that sealed the deal. Tsuruya in particular impressed many people, showing off his surprising strength as he even tore into the C-1 Heavyweight Champion Akuma Toyota. In the end, Takayuki Ariwa and Hiroyuki Takano's impressive teamwork sealed the deal, as Ariwa KO'd Fujimoto with the Angelos into Takano's Moonsault Press for the three count.

Tenshin Komatsu and Toshiro Noguchi, former tag team rivals fought each other in the sixth match of the night in singles competition. However, there would be little in the way of sportsmanlike conduct, as Komatsu engineered rampant interference from his LOVE allies Shino Hiriyama and Kazuhiro Okamura. Having seen enough, Nobuyori Shimizu charged to ringside to attempt to even the odds and chased ShinoMura away. However, Tenshin Komatsu displayed his own tenacity as he survived the Thunder Hammer from Noguchi to blast Noguchi with his new move, a springboard knee attack; he calls the "Shikaeshi" for the pinfall victory. After the match, Tenshin Komatsu made sure to taunt C-1 Heavyweight champion Akuma Toyota, by saying that he was finally going to reveal the date for his C-1 Heavyweight Championship challenge...but then mockingly changed his mind, and said that for now, Toyota would have to wait another day to find out...

Ryoma Inoue found himself taking on an incredible man in the semi final, as the Yankizoku "spokesman" faced off against former IFS Openweight Champion Yoshiaki Matsuda. Inoue put up a strong challenge, showing valor and strength as he refused to simply fall down to Matsuda's brutal attacks, but he never seemed to come close to damaging or worrying the unflappable Matsuda. Despite surprising Matsuda with his tenacity to survive many of his biggest bombs, Matsuda sealed the deal on Inoue with a brutal PK directly to the face, ending Ryoma Inoue's valiant struggle. True to his words, Matsuda stayed at ringside to counter the Yankizoku presence for the main event...

2009 GOLDEN CHANCE winner Ikuji Royama received his C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championships match twenty days after winning the tournament, as Royama faced off against the champion Keoni Murata who was predictably flanked by the entire army of Yankizoku. Both Matsuda and Royama held their ground despite the massive numbers disadvantage against themselves. In the ring, Royama left the situation behind him, as he tore into the defending champion Keoni Murata with his usual brutal style. Murata was battered around the ring with kicks and strikes, while occasionally being thrown on his back by Royama with slams. Murata looked haggard within minutes of the match, as he struggled to find a way to counter Royama's attacks. Without Yuki Nomura at the building, having rushed Millennium S.K. to the hospital earlier in the evening, there was no threat of ejection hanging over the heads of Yankizoku, which led to the entire army asserting their presence within minutes. With the referee's back turned, Hiroyuki Takano springboarded into the ring and nailed the referee with a dropkick to the back, knocking him out cold. From there, Yankizoku pounced, attacking Royama in force. Even knowing that the odds were drastically against him, Yoshiaki Matsuda charged into the ring fearlessly and attacked Yankizoku. Matsuda seemed to be making headway against Yankizoku, but the numbers eventually caught up to him. When all hope appeared to be lost, the Miyako fans suddenly came alive, as STRONGEST came running to the ring, minus Millennium S.K. but also including C-1 Heavyweight Champion Akuma Toyota! STRONGEST tore into Yankizoku, and along with Yankizoku helped repel the army from the ring, returning the match to a one on one situation! Keoni Murata was by far the better off of the two, and looked to put Royama away with a Backdrop Hold, but Royama showed his courage by kicking out at 2.9! Murata called out, and the always sneaky Ichiyo Tatsuko responded, having hidden UNDER the ring during the melee! Tatsuko handed Murata his surf board, and the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion sized up Royama for the killing blow! Murata swung, but Royama ducked under causing Murata to hit the top rope and bounce the board back into his own face! Murata was heavily stunned, allowing Royama to NAIL him with a shotei! Royama covered, but Tatsuko stopped the recovering referee from counting by holding onto his legs. Royama responded to this development by leaping over the ropes onto Tatsuko, taking the nusiance out with a plancha! Royama returned to the ring, and set Murata up for the Sliding Shotei, but after bouncing off the ropes, he was BLINDSIDED by Keiji Hirano with a Springboard Kneel Kick to Royama's face! Having escaped from their enemies, Yankizoku suddenly hit the ring again in force, and hit a medley of their biggest moves on Royama climaxing with Ariwa's Splash Mountain, hurling Royama in place for Murata's Great Wave Bodypress! Royama's allies attempted to reach the ring, but Yankizoku held them back as the referee counted the decisive three count!

The Miyako fans rang out with jeers for what they had seen, but Yankizoku fled the ring immediately even without the title presentation, having escaped with the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship...In the ring, Nobuyori Shimizu had seemingly lost his patience, as he grabbed a microphone and gave a heart felt appeal. Shimizu called all the "Unaligned" wrestlers from the back to come to the ring. As the wrestlers trickled out, Shimizu launched into a passionate rant, saying that the "divided" face of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON was allowing their enemies to dominate them, but Shimizu said, that today that would be the final night of it. Akuma Toyota looked indifferent as Shimizu continued to rant, saying that from now on "STRONGEST" would no longer be about who the strongest Ryo Suzuki graduates were, but from now on would be the "STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY"! Shimizu turned to the other wrestlers, and asked them to all join forces with STRONGEST to defend Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON from the LOVE, Yankizoku, and TEXAS ROUGHRIDER factions that control all the championships! Without saying a word, Toshiro Noguchi moved to stand next to Shimizu letting his allegance be known. OVERTHROW immediately approached Shimizu, and exchanged embraces without batting an eyelash, followed shortly by Masakazu Fujimoto. The only two unaligned wrestlers left were Yoshiaki Matsuda and Ikuji Royama...The independent wrestlers did not immediately accept, but after Shimizu told them that together they had a better chance of revenge for tonight, the two crossed the line and accepted the invitation!

Only one man hadn't given his seal of approval, as C-1 Heavyweight Champion Akuma Toyota stood alone in a corner. Shimizu attempted to sway Toyota by telling him that he hated the other groups as much as they did. Shimizu specifically called Toyota "leader" and personally asked Toyota to lead their army into battle. Even Toyota looked caught off guard at Shimizu's words, but the C-1 Heavyweight Champion confidently accepted Shimizu's microphone. Toyota declared that he didn't care about "friends" or "alliances" but admitted that this was a "war". Toyota declared himself the "God of War", and announced that from this day forward, he would lead the STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY to complete and total victory over their enemies, beginning first with the destruction of LOVE by his own hands!
