[CRIMSON] 4/25/09 @ Natori Sport Park

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON made its way to Miyagi for the second to last date for CRIMSON in April. Over a thousand fans packed into the Natori Sport Park for the night's action, which kicked off with Toshiro Noguchi and Shuji Kawashima having a singles contest. Kawashima, as has become the usual, attempted to use his speed to defeat his senior, but Toshiro Noguchi gave Kawashima nothing to work with inroute to blasting him with the Thunder Hammer for the three count.

LOVE finally got on to the same page in the second match of the night, as Tenshin Komatsu and ShinoMura took on the AVENIR team of PREDATORS and Kazuki Takagi from AVENIR. Despite the good form of PREDATORS as of late, they found that they were much overmatched against one of the top teams in all of Japan, while Tenshin Komatsu seemed to find amusement out of picking Kazuki Takagi apart, before blasting him with the Komatsu Knee Kick for the three count while ShinoMura kept PREDATORS at bay.

Score one for the "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop, as he led the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS to victory over the man he will be facing on the 1st, Masakazu Fujimoto and the team of OVERTHROW. OVERTHROW played their part exceptionally well in the match, using technique to continually frustrate and control their much larger opponents, but when it came time for Fujimoto to seal the deal, and he had Kuriyama lifted up for the Mt. Fujimoto Bomb, Bishop suddenly burst off the apron with a Texan Bomber that not only freed Bishop's friend, but hurt Fujimoto immensely. After a tag there was nothing OVERTHROW could do as they were held back, and Bishop leveled Fujimoto with a second Texan Bomber, scoring the direct pinfall victory over his contender on the 1st! Through Kuriyama, Bishop "helpfully" suggested to Fujimoto that he had spent too long "playing pretend" and his level had lowered to where he was no longer competition! Fujimoto made a dive for Bishop, only to be leveled a THIRD time with the Texan Bomber! Bishop screamed "Don't mess with Texas!" before throwing up the longhorns to jeers...

Yankizoku and STRONGEST clashed in the fourth match of the night as C-1 Heavyweight Champion and IFS Openweight Champion Akuma Toyota led Nobuyori Shimizu, Hayato Saigo, and Millennium S.K. against Mikio Tsuruya, Ryoma Inoue, Ichiyo Tatsuko and BIG BOY Tomizaki. Given the differences in battle strength of each side, it was no surprise when Toyota blasted Tomizaki at the 14 minute mark with a lariat for the three count. During STRONGEST's victory celebration, LOVE came to ringside, leading to a heated microphone battle. Nobuyori Shimizu surprisingly stayed back, as ShinoMura got into a argument with Hayato Saigo and Millennium S.K. leading into their match on the 26th, while Komatsu and Toyota exchanged the expected verbal jabs...Toyota seemed exasperated, and wanted to know when Komatsu would "become a man" and challenge him, but once again Komatsu refused to reveal that bit of information, but told Toyota that he had his eyes set on a "grand stage" for his "ascendancy" to champion. Toyota, after a deep sigh, told Komatsu that he was tired of hurting a "defenseless man" and explained to Komatsu that until he finally decided to challenge him, he would be "ignoring his existence". Komatsu seemed...offended, almost, before he asked Toyota if he could ignore him now, before suddenly trying to SLAP Toyota! However, Toyota CAUGHT Komatsu's slap! Komatsu seemed to be in pain as the massive Toyota applied pressure, but Komatsu used Toyota's own overconfidence against him, as he yanked Toyota forward using his grabbed arm and CRACKED Toyota in the face as he bent over with a leaping knee! Toyota reeled in pain, allowing Komatsu and ShinoMura to flee the ring. Toyota attempted to charge forward, but STRONGEST held Toyota back as Komatsu screamed to Toyota that they were playing by "his rules" from now on...

The semi final saw a bit of a grudge match take place, as GOLDEN CHANCE winner Ikuji Royama teamed with former IFS Openweight Champion Yoshiaki Matsuda to take on the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Keoni Murata and Keiji Hirano in tag action. Keoni Murata had no idea what to do early, as his attempts to avoid Royama early led to comedy spots where he'd run into Matsuda instead with the same result: Pain. However Yankizoku actually gained the upper hand on Matsuda after a sneak attack by Ichiyo Tatsuko at ringside. Their control would last for a few minutes but they could do nothing to put Matsuda away, or keep him down for very long before Matsuda made the tag to Royama, who came in like a house of fire, ripping into his former partners with attacks. Royama had Murata decisively beaten once again with the Flare Up! but Hirano broke it up...That would prove to be a costly decision for Hirano, as a refreshed Yoshiaki Matsuda made him pay with a BRUTAL Penalty Kick right to the face for the finish. As Yankizoku were licking their wounds, Yoshiaki Matsuda revealed that he would be at ringside tomorrow night to watch Royama's back, and WELCOMED Yankizoku to attempt to interfere if they dared. Murata cursed Matsuda, but pulled his troops to the back without further incident...

The C-1 Tag Team Championships were at stake in the main event of the night at the Natori Sport Park, as the AT CLUB of Yankizoku looked to gain their third defense of the tag team championships over the AVENIR team of Kenjiro Amagawa and Shinsuke Takahashi. The challengers entered first with all of AVENIR in toe. Amagawa and Takahashi wore stern faces, as the odds were stacked against them, but the fans in Miyagi displayed their support for the top two of AVENIR with a strong round of cheers. The defending champions received no such favor from the crowd, as the top two from Yankizoku entered with the full force of Yankizoku behind them, proudly carrying their tag team champions, Takayuki Ariwa and Hiroyuki Takano also sported serious expressions on their faces, but that turned to looks of contempt as they stared down at their "unworthy" champions before the match. The bout was set to begin, when suddenly President Yuki Nomura appeared at ringside! Nomura, after the cheers had stopped, explained that he wanted to see who the best team really was and ordered EVERY second at ringside to leave immediately! The AT CLUB threw a fit, but Nomura was stern, forcing all the AVENIR and Yankizoku members to leave ringside. The AT CLUB were enraged, specifically Takayuki Ariwa, who stormed Shinsuke Takahashi and Kenjiro Amagawa during introductions, causing the impromptu beginning of the match! However, Amagawa and Takahashi were prepared for Ariwa after his brutal actions on Amagawa on the 18th, and both evaded his charge, sending Ariwa slamming into the buckle! Before Ariwa could adjust, Amagawa had already grabbed, lifted, and SLAMMED Ariwa on his head with the Ankle Clutch Backdrop Hold! Takano finally saw what was going on and raced to the hold, but Takahashi cut him off with a Clutching Knee! The fans caught off guard didn't count along as the count came down, but Ariwa BARELY managed to escape at 2.9 to keep the championships! The crowd ooo'd and awed with Ariwa's kickout, but the challengers were far from done. Kenjiro Amagawa displayed surprising strength as he almost dead lifted Ariwa up off the ground and gave him a German Suplex! Ariwa rolled through; ending up sitting at the bottom of the turnbuckle, but Takahashi FLEW at Ariwa and buried his knee in his face with a modified White Flash! Ariwa slumped over, as the challengers pulled him out of the corner for the cover, only to have Hiroyuki Takano springboard into the ring with a picture perfect dropkick to both men! Amagawa and Takahashi fell out of the ring from the force. Takano looked at his partner Ariwa, still unconscious and decided that he needed to buy time. Takano then RACED across the ring and threw himself over the top rope with a picture perfect no touch somersault dive onto both Takahashi and Amagawa, wiping everyone out at once! The crowd came alive with cheers as all four men laid on the ground hurting. Shinsuke Takahashi took the least of Takano's insane dive, and slid into the ring as Ariwa was coming to. Takahashi began to lift Ariwa, but from his knees, Ariwa gave what looked like a upwards lariat, thrusting his entire body up into the air and catching Takahashi right under the jaw! Both men collapsed to the ground as both Takano and Amagawa shakily made their ways to the corner. After over thirty seconds of crawling, Ariwa and Takahashi both made the tag to their respective partners at about the same time, resulting in two evenly matched opponents. While their partners recovered, Takano and Amagawa had virtually a singles match with Amagawa's technical abilities versus Takano's athletic ability and speed. Amagawa attempted to keep Takano at bay with headlocks and submissions, but Takano would counter his way out of them with ease only to have Amagawa thwart Takano's high flying moves. A spectacular exchange saw Takano attempt a dropkick, only to have Amagawa move. Amagawa attempted to deadlift Takano with a German Suplex, but Takano flipped behind Amagawa in mid move! Takano threw a solebutt, but Amagawa ducked under, and caught the reeling Takano with an elbow flush to the cheek. Amagawa bounced off the ropes to hit a running variant, but Takano caught Amagawa by surprise by BLASTING him in the face with the Takano Flash! Amagawa reeled from the blow, allowing Takano to grab Amagawa and plant him with the Takano Driver, only to have Takahashi spring back to life and break up the pinfall! The AT CLUB took firm control at this point, working over the stunned Amagawa using their complimentary skills of Ariwa's power and Takano's speed, using a variety of incredible attacks. Ariwa picked up Takano and threw him onto Amagawa at several points, becoming their go-to attack style, including one awe inspiring moment. Ariwa lifted Takano up for an Atomic Whip, but then threw Takano at Amagawa. In mid air, Takano grabbed Amagawa and WHIPPED him over with a Frankenstiner! Amagawa landed hard, but attempted to roll through it, only to be BLASTED by the Angelos from Ariwa, followed by a beautiful standing moonsault from Takano! However, every single time Amagawa would be in danger of being finished, Takahashi would dive in to save him, only to be hurled out of the ring like a garbage bag by Ariwa. The crowd rallied behind Amagawa, as he struggled to fight back against the power of the AT CLUB. Takano attempted to finish off Amagawa with his patented Moonsault Press, but Amagawa rolled out of the way, only to have Takano land on his feet like a cat. Takano prepared to press Amagawa further, when he was blasted from behind by a Clutching Knee from Takahashi for the second time, sending Takano sprawling to the mat! Takahashi screamed at Amagawa that now was his chance, and on the apron got the crowd wildly clapping along with his stomping. Ariwa came into the ring to cut off Amagawa, but the former "Super Rookie" countered by blasting Ariwa with an enzuigiri before finally tagging out to Takahashi! Takahashi came into the ring almost at a running start from the apron, and launched a Clutching Knee at Ariwa! However, Ariwa caught Takahashi and threw him backwards. Takahashi displayed his own talent by SOMEHOW managing to land on the middle rope from Ariwa's throw, and threw a second rope Clutching Knee, BLASTING Ariwa in the face! Ariwa stumbled backwards in pain, and Takahashi dropkicked his right leg, sending him to a one knee position leading to the White Flash directly to Ariwa's face! Takano had reached one knee, allowing Takahashi to burst into a dead run and nail HIM with a White Flash as well! The crowd roared as Takahashi sized up Takano, aiming for a second White Flash to seal the deal...However, Ariwa had reached his feet behind him, and was approaching to land a Angelos from behind. The crowd cheered as Amagawa reappeared and SPEARED Ariwa hard enough to send both men falling wildly out of the ring! Takano pulled himself up to his feet, only to have Takahashi throw a third Clutching Knee, sending Takano flying into the corner! Takahashi charged in with a modified White Flash, sending his knee crushing to Takano's face AGAIN! Takahashi grabbed Takano and whipped him out of the corner with a snap mare, before charging into the ropes and CRUSHING Takano with a knee to the face! The crowd counted along as Takahashi covered Takano, but SOMEHOW the former IFS Openweight Champion kicked out at 2.9 to keep the championships! At ringside, Ariwa had finally lost his cool, as he lifted Amagawa in a Powerbomb position, and ran him spine first into a turnbuckle as hard as he possibly could knocking Amagawa out of the match...In the ring, Takahashi gave a signal that he was going to finish him with one more knee, patting his knee for emphasis. Takahashi backed up against the ropes for extra momentum, only to be CLOBBERED from behind by Ariwa! Takahashi stumbled forward, as Ariwa climbed into the ring. Ariwa screamed out Takahashi's name, as he ran forward and gave Takahashi a violent enzuilariat to the back of the head! Takahashi collapsed forward, allowing a recovering Takano to grab him and plant him with the Takano Driver…but Takahashi DEFIANTLY kicked out at 1! The Miyagi crowd roared as Takahashi began pulling himself up to his feet using anything he could find, including Takano himself. The AT CLUB were less then amusing, as one would expect, as they began to ping-pong Takahashi back and forth between themselves with Ariwa using Enzuilariat and Takano using kicks until Takahashi was barely standing. Ariwa gave Takahashi one more Enzuilariat, before Takano lifted him for a second Takano Driver, hitting it flush! Takano held on, but right at 2.9, Amagawa came back into the match with a diving save! Takayuki Ariwa's tenuous grasp on sanity completely broke down, as he gave Amagawa a murderous kick directly to the face, before climbing on top of Amagawa and proceeded to throw elbows to Amagawa's face until the AVENIR leader had stopped moving…On the other side of the ring, after recovering himself, Takano struggled to lift Takahashi for a third Takano Driver, but this time, Takahashi slid down behind Takano and pushed him into Ariwa, causing the AT CLUB to clonk heads! Ariwa stumbled holding his head, while Takano fell to the ground…Takahashi charged looking for one more White Flash, but right as he leapt off Takano's leg for the move, Ariwa suddenly LARIATED HIM MID MOVE! The force caused Takahashi land on the back of his head, but Ariwa wasn't done yet, as he lifted up Takahashi and gave him several short range lariats, before planting him with the Hammerfall! Takano went for the pinfall, but Ariwa pushed his own partner off, screaming that Takahashi wasn't "dead" yet. The crowd began to heavily jeer as Ariwa dead lifted Takahashi up onto his shoulder, and then pressed him above his head in the Splash Mountain! Ariwa backed to a corner, before taking a running start and HURLING Takahashi into the center of the ring as hard as he could! Takahashi landed with a sickening thud, but the AT CLUB still weren't satisfied as Hiroyuki Takano immediately climbed up onto the top rope, and flew off with a beautiful moonsault press! Amagawa attempted to crawl to the pinfall, but Ariwa placed his foot on Amagawa's head and kept him from interfering as the three count was registered, giving the AT CLUB their third defense!

Immediately after the fall, the AT CLUB callously pushed Takahashi and Amagawa out of the ring with their feet, as AVENIR raced to the ring to check on their top two…After the title presentation was held, the mistake was made to hand Ariwa a microphone, and the Yankizoku leader went off on a tirade, saying that they should just retire the championships, because there were no challengers left to face them. However, Ariwa's tirade was cut off as LOVE's Shino Hiriyama and Kazuhiro Okamura came to ringside. The crowd was unsure how to react, as Hiriyama told the AT CLUB that due to the "friendly" nature of their groups, that they had not taken their rightful challenge for the titles, but hearing them claim to be the "best team" had bothered them. With that said, ShinoMura challenged the AT CLUB for a Tag Team Championship match…There was a slight pause, before Ariwa burst out in laughter, before demanding to know what they would hope to do against them, saying that Ariwa dwarfed them in power, and Takano dwarfed them in speed. However, ShinoMura were unaffected, as Hiriyama explained that they were the "perfect unit" and could defeat any team. Ariwa then demanded to know why they should be given a shot, to which Hiriyama immediately replied by PUNTING Ariwa in the groin as hard as he could! Ariwa crumbled in a heap, as Hiriyama calmly picked up the dropped microphone and gave the reason, "Revenge".
