Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON returned to Akita Terusa for the Sunday "CRIMSON CONCERTO" event on the 11th. The event drew an even stronger house then the night before, with many fans rushing to get tickets for the next day's events after having seen the night before.
Toshiro Noguchi and Keoni Murata proved to make a good team, as they bested the TEXAS ROUGHRIDER's SLAYER and the unaligned Natsuo Sakoda with relative ease. Of course, SLAYER refused to cooperate with Sakoda throughout the match, instead simply standing on the apron...After dropping Sakoda with a Backdrop Hold, Noguchi & Murata announced that they "enjoyed their team" and as elder statesmen of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, they were unwilling to "fade away into the background" and announced full intentions to challenge the winner of the FUSION League for a C-1 Tag Team Championship match!
The heatup for Hayato Saigo vs. Ikuji Royama continued in the second match, with this time Saigo coming out on top albeit indirectly, with Millennium S.K. scoring the win over Keiji Hirano with the Millennium Driver. After the match, much like Ryoma Inoue had tried to do for Ikuji Royama the night before, S.K. attempted to hype up their match on Saigo's behalf...However, exactly as the night before, Saigo stole the microphone and told S.K. to not fight his battles for him before leaving the ring. Ikuji Royama stalked out after Saigo, leaving the two hated rivals S.K. and Inoue in the ring confused at their partner's attitudes. An awkward moment passed in the ring, as S.K. and Inoue seemed to understand each other a bit better in the wake of this development... S.K. then spoke to Inoue, saying "I still hate you", before leaving to a round of laughter.
The C-1 FUSION LEAGUE continued in the third match of the night. It was Yankizoku versus Yankizoku as the AT CLUB took on the winless Mikio Tsuruya and BIG BOY Tomizaki. Before the match began, Takayuki Ariwa invoked his power as the leader of Yankizoku by DEMANDING that Tsuruya and Tomizaki lay down for them! However, Tsuruya audibly belched into the microphone before saying that he had just ate dinner, and needed the workout and thus was refusing to lay down. This enraged the AT CLUB, causing them to attack Tsuruya. Tomizaki was visibly confused over what to do, and at one point screamed "WHAT DO I DO?!?" to which Ariwa responded "LAY DOWN!" and Tsuruya responded "FIGHT!". This only confused Tomizaki more. Hiroyuki Takano took it upon himself to set Tomizaki straight, and took the decision out of his hands as he blasted Tomizaki in the back of the head with the Takano Flash, and then hit Tomizaki with the Takano Driver for the three count fall! A microphone battle resulted after the match, as Ariwa continued to absolutely fume in anger, and demanded to know why Tsuruya rejected his order. Tsuruya shrugged in response. Takano had to hold Ariwa back. Finally, Tsuruya explained for Ariwa and did so almost insultingly. Tsuruya told Ariwa that they were "Yanki" or delinquents, and a good delinquent NEVER follows orders! Tsuruya then blamed Ariwa for the problem, saying that he should know better then to give out orders to them! Ariwa simply stared at Tsuruya silently. Ariwa then left without saying anything else, either profoundly touched by Tsuruya's wisdom, or his stupidity. Once again, Tsuruya dragged Tomizaki to the back.
The comedy of the last match was off put by sheer talent in the second tournament match of the night, as PREDATORS of Hiroshi Kuroki and Kaisen Tiger had a chance to take on and best their superiors, OVERTHROW of Naoki Daishi and Akahito Yamada. A large portion of the match saw Daishi and Yamada beat the two young juniors with surprising force and cruelty, almost seeming to be giving the two a lesson in pain. At one point, Yamada had Kaisen Tiger trapped in his Crossface of Yamada, and Daishi crushed Tiger's face with a soccer ball kick. In the end, the two young men showed off their courage as they began to fight back against the strength of OVERTHROW, leading to a thrilling exchange where Kuroki nearly pinned Daishi with the PRISM. When Daishi kicked out, Tiger immediately nailed him with the Bullet Wrath but again Daishi was too strong. The day for PREDATORS to pass their superiors wasn't this day, as Naoki Daishi made a comeback after Kaisen Tiger made a youthful mistake, and dropped the masked man on his head with a Northern Lights Bomb for the three count fall...Yamada and Daishi praised the two after the match, and encouraged them to keep giving it their all so that they'd break through the wall that separated them in power.
LOVE faced off with AVENIR in the third tournament match of the night. LOVE came into the match overconfident, and through most of the match would taunt Yuki Nomura and Kenjiro Amagawa at every opportunity. However, Shino Hiriyama and Kazuhiro Okamura found themselves unprepared for the reaction this would cause, as Nomura and Amagawa came alive if only due to anger and tore into LOVE turning what would have normally been a solid match into a wild brawl that at one point spilled to the back of the building much to the chagrin of Hiriyama who was slammed face first into the back wall by Amagawa several times. When things settled down, LOVE found they were unable to get a semblance of control over the match with their superior team work, but they couldn't seem to keep down the burning spirit of Nomura and Amagawa. The match climaxed with yet another thrilling series of high level moves. Nomura was able to take Okamura out of the match with a running forearm that sent Okamura flying over the top rope. Nomura then landed several brutal elbow blows to Hiriyama, setting him up perfectly for Amagawa...However, Amagawa didn't go for a Backdrop Hold, and instead lifted Hiriyama onto his shoulder and THEN hit a Backdrop Hold with a higher hold then normal for the three count!
STRONGEST clashed with the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS in what may be the biggest tournament match thus far. The C-1 Heavyweight Champion Akuma Toyota led Nobuyori Shimizu into battle against the C-2 Openweight Champion the "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop and his partner Rui Kuriyama. There was absolutely no order from the moment the bell rang, as the two former BLACKHEART members Akuma Toyota and Jake Bishop charged each other across the ring, and began to wildly punch each other. Shimizu and Kuriyama, not to be left out engaged as well, but not as viciously as their partners. At one point Bishop attempted to commit apparent murder as he wrapped a cable around Toyota's throat and pulled back viciously around one of the posts strangling the life out of the C-1 Heavyweight Champion until he was pried off by the referee and wrestlers. In the ring, the two "normal" wrestlers were having an actual match while the chaos consumed the ringside, with Rui Kuriyama having a hell of a time with Shimizu, and couldn't find any way to get an upper hand on the founding member of the CRIMSON roster. Even after order was restored at ringside, the match revolved around Shimizu and Kuriyama, with Kuriyama becoming increasingly frustrated when all his attacks and attempts failed. Out of frustration, Kuriyama attempted to foul Shimizu with a punt to the groin, but Shimizu grabbed Kuriyama's leg as it came in and sweeped him which caused Kuriyama much frustration. Despite Bishop's attempts to help Kuriyama, Toyota was there to keep the gaijin at bay forcing Kuriyama to survive on his own. He was inable to. Nobuyori Shimizu busted out the Thunder-Fire Powerbomb to put down Rui Kuriyama and gain the victory! After the match; Akuma Toyota, never one to be soft spoken took a microphone and began to rant in Japanese. Of course, this caused Bishop to scream out "Speak English!" Toyota obliged Bishop's request, as he said directly to Bishop; "Fuck you!" to a large reaction from the fans. Bishop attempted to charge Toyota, but Rui Kuriyama wisely held Bishop back. Toyota further fanned the fan of war, as he screamed "WE ARE STRONGEST!" with both Toyota and Shimizu thrusting their arms in the air as a sign of victory...
