[CRIMSON] 01/04/09 @ Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium ~ C-1 FUSION LEAGUE

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON returned to the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium for night two of the weekends "CRIMSON CONCERTO" event. With the beginning of the C-1 FUSION LEAGUE, CRIMSON had to turn back people, even after adding seats to the building to allow more fans to attend!

The event kicked off with the opening ceremony for the C-1 FUSION LEAGUE. Each team was introduced one by one, with the STRONGEST team of Akuma Toyota and Nobuyori Shimizu by far getting the largest reaction...Each team were given a chance to speak. Hiroshi Kuroki and Kaisen Tiger went first. Both men admitted that their chances of victory were slim, but that they would tackle the other teams with all the courage and determination they could muster. OVERTHROW spoke next, with Daishi saying that they would formally "earn" their title as the best tag team of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON by winning the tournament! Yamada was less forceful, instead saying that he was aiming to do his very best against their strong opponents. Kuroki & Tiger's senpai's went next as President Yuki Nomura stated that he wasn't allowed to participate in the original CRIMSON tag tournament due to being C-1 Heavyweight Champion at the time, and aimed to add the C-1 Tag Team Championships to his credentials. Amagawa showed off his eagerness to achieve as he promised that not only would they win the league, but that he would finally make Tsuruya pay for what he did to him...

Yankizoku of Mikio Tsuruya and BIG BOY Tomizaki went fourth, as Tomizaki claimed that his brand new red scarf had given him a "level up" that he would display to laughter. Tsuruya, however, was wildly different as he admitted that he could not care less about the tournament, and was aiming to cause as much trouble as could. The AT CLUB followed their stable mates next as the fifth team...Takano was his usual calm self, as he stated that he had already promised they would "take" their chances from now on, and this would be just another step. Ariwa was wildly different, saying that they would sweep the tournament and win the titles with ease. This statement caused quite the anger from the other wrestlers, as Shino Hiriyama and Kazuhiro Okamura demanded to speak sixth...However, that proved to be a ruse as they took their microphones, told the AT CLUB that they'd "see about them going undefeated tonight" and then flipped off Ariwa and Takano! A huge scene nearly developed but the two teams were separated...

Surprisingly, instead of opting to be the last team to speak, the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS went seventh. C-1 Openweight Champion, "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop led off on a tirade on all the teams, butchering some of the other wrestler's names so bad you'd think he was doing it intentionally...However, Bishop's point remained that they were all "weak and cowardly" and using his Texas spirit, the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS would smash them all. After Bishop finished his rant, Kuriyama made sure to add that they were all ugly as well, and then made a face to mock them...The C-1 Heavyweight Champion Akuma Toyota and his last challenger Nobuyori Shimizu spoke last...Shimizu was regretful that he was still hurting so bad, but then jokingly pushed Toyota while telling him that he had beaten on him too much...Toyota was stern, however, saying that he was aiming to give both of them their third C-1 Tag Team Championship reigns at any cost, saying that the spirit of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON is represented through them both more then any other...With that, the ceremony ended with all the teams surprisingly returning to the back peacefully...

SLAYER utterly crushed Ichiyo Tatsuko in the opening match. The near useless Tatsuko tried everything he could, but nothing would work against the mammoth junior. At one point, Tatsuko attempted a dragon screw, but couldn't get SLAYER's leg to twist properly, leading to him struggling until being clubbed...SLAYER took his time, and after the four minute mark scored the Zanzai Lariat for the crushing defeat.

STRONGEST took on STRONGEST+AVENIR as C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Hayato Saigo and AVENIR's Kazuki Takagi were victorious over Millennium S.K. and Shuji Kawashima. S.K. did not come out dressed as Kawashima, much to the disappointment of the fans. Due to Kawashima's inexperience, the match was one sided as Kazuki Takagi actually scored a pinfall victory, hitting Kawashima with a Nodowa-otoshi for the fall! After the fall, Millennium S.K. feined that he was having a heart attack from the shock of Takagi actually winning a match. Saigo chastised his stablemate for his behavior, but S.K. blew off Saigo's words in typical S.K. fashion...

The final non-tournament match of the night saw the Unaligned team of Toshiro Noguchi, Keoni Murata, and Natsuo Sakoda team up to defeat the Yankizoku team of Keiji Hirano, Ryoma Inoue & Ikuji Royama. Despite the success Royama's had of late, he couldn't do much to help Keiji Hirano survive Keoni Murata's Backdrop Hold for the three count.

The C-1 FUSION LEAGUE began with the fourth match pitting AVENIR against AVENIR. The team of PREDATORS, consisting of Hiroshi Kuroki and Kaisen Tiger found themselves up against the top two of the group, CRIMSON president Yuki Nomura and the talented Kenjiro Amagawa. The PREDATORS used their speed advantage for most of the match, but found themselves in trouble as Kenjiro Amagawa tapped into his natural athletic abilities and kept up with the two men with ease...Yuki Nomura took a passive role in the match, only helping out when he deemed it needed, but more or less stayed on the outside letting the three young men battle it out. Kenjiro Amagawa displayed why he was called a "Super Rookie" once upon a time by thriving against his smaller opponents in route to hitting Hiroshi Kuroki with a modified Backdrop Hold, first lifting Kuroki on his shoulder for the win! After the match, Yuki Nomura praised all three of them, before asking Amagawa what his new move was named...Amagawa sheepishly admitted that he hadn't come up with a move name yet but would be thinking about it...

The C-1 FUSION LEAGUE continued with the fifth match, as the two teams that exchanged words and almost fists matched up. The invading army of LOVE consisting of Shino Hiriyama and Kazuhiro Okamura took on the Yankizoku top team of Takayuki Ariwa and Hiroyuki Takano. The match was paced slowly, as Hiriyama and Okamura used their technique early to keep the AT CLUB at bay. Avoiding Ariwa's power, and Takano's speed, the LOVE team were able to find a strong medium ground where they could control the two. However, they weren't able to control the AT CLUB forever, as eventually Takano and Ariwa were bound to break free of the grasp LOVE had placed on them. Ariwa in particular went off on what was almost a killing spree, throwing around the two juniors with relative ease. However, his youthful energy left him open, as LOVE suddenly double teamed him with Takano hurt, and gave him a double piledriver on the floor! With Ariwa out of the fray, LOVE attacked Takano with everything they had, but the #2 in Yankizoku refused to go down easily...However, a Perfect German Suplex from Hiriyama into a KO Cutter from Okamura was all Takano could take, leaving him down for the three count! Hiriyama was taunting post match, as over a microphone, he called them "young boys" who still haven't fully matured asking what happened to their boasts of going undefeated...He then encouraged them, telling them "Next time, try harder, okay?" before laughing hysterically...

The third match in the FUSION LEAGUE wasn't really much of a match. It pitted the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS of "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop and Rui Kuriyama against the Yankizoku team of Mikio Tsuruya and BIG BOY Tomizaki. Tsuruya immediately began the match by trying to encourage Tomizaki to use chairs to get themselves disqualified, telling him that they could go eat food and drink sake in the back instead of fighting...However, Tomizaki flatly refused, insisting that his red scarf had given him the power to defeat the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS. Tsuruya allowed Tomizaki to fight, going to sit on the ring apron and watch. Tomizaki was promptly murdered by Jake Bishop and put out of his misery with the Texan Bomber. Tsuruya asked Tomizaki if he had learned anything...When Tomizaki didn't answer due to being out cold, Tsuruya responded by dragging him to the back, stating out loud that HE was still going to go eat and get drunk...

The final match of the night, and the final tournament match of the night pitted four of the strongest men in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON against each other, as STRONGEST's team of C-1 Heavyweight Champion Akuma Toyota and Nobuyori Shimizu took on the junior team of OVERTHROW, Naoki Daishi and Akahito Yamada. Nobuyori Shimizu came into the match with heavy taping still around his shoulders and neck, which OVERTHROW immediately targeted. Most of the match consisted of OVERTHROW attacking Shimizu's injuries with everything they had, but the courageous young heavyweight refused to give in or submit, as Akuma Toyota shouted out encouragement from the apron. Eventually, Shimizu was able to make a comeback and get Toyota into the match, who burst into the match using his incredible power leveling both Daishi and Yamada with lariats. However, OVERTHROW displayed their own strength by not folding under the pressure Toyota was thrusting out, and fighting back. The ending sequence saw Daishi incredibly lift Toyota for his Northern Lights Bomb...Onlyto be immediately taken out by a running elbow from Shimizu! Yamada came up from behind and dumped Shimizu on his head with a Straight Jacket Suplex Hold...However, Akuma Toyota rose from the dead and nearly decapitated Akahito Yamada with a lariat! Daishi stood up, and began to throw strikes at Toyota, before tryign for a flying jujigatame...However, Toyota hooked his hands and then POWERBOMBED Daishi from the position! Toyota then lifted Daishi and planted him with the Akuma Ichimonji for the uncontested three count and the two points!
