[CRIMSON] 01/03/09 @ Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium ~ C-1 FUSION LEAGUE '09

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON kicked off it's monthly weekend series of shows at the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium for the only non-tournament show of the month! Before the matches began, a special PA announcement was made that there would be a "Yankizoku Special Meeting" before the card began. For the last time ever, Seiji Ebisawa led out Yankizoku to the ring. Ebisawa was carrying a box of some kind to the ring. Once in the ring, Ebisawa took up a microphone, and began by thanking the wrestlers in the ring, and thanking the fans for their support and help respectively, earning a round of applause. Ebisawa began in earnest announcing that since he was no longer a member of the CRIMSON roster that he couldn't be the leader of Yankizoku, and was announcing his replacement! Ebisawa opened his box, which contained various clothing items. Ebisawa explained that he had talked to his children to find out what was "cool" in today's youth, and had gone on a shopping spree to buy a clothing item to symbolize the leader of the group that would fit with their image. Only BIG BOY Tomizaki seemed to be excited at the idea of new clothes, while the others acted like little children getting socks for Christmas. The first item Ebisawa pulled out was a bright red scarf that he modeled by dramatically throwing around his neck.  The next item was a beanie that Ebisawa placed on his head and attempted to look as cool as possible wearing, to a round of laughter. The final item was a dark blue modified school jacket, in exactly the same style as the rest of Yankizoku's jackets...Ebisawa looked sheepish as he remarked that he had arranged to have the jacket as his own trophy had he won against Nomura. Ebisawa admitted that the other "gifts" were jokes, but that the jacket was the true symbol of leadership, and Ebisawa was offering it up to the next leader of Yankizoku. Suddenly, Takayuki Ariwa stepped up from the group, and took the jacket from Seiji Ebisawa! Ariwa pulled off his own modified school jacket, and put on Ebisawa's...barely getting the arms to fit. Ariwa then took Ebisawa's microphone, and accepted Seiji Ebisawa's feelings saying that he would lead Yankizoku in Ebisawa's place! Ebisawa stared at the young man and his bravado, before a wide smile broke his face, as Seiji Ebisawa congratulated Ariwa for "becoming a man". Seiji Ebisawa then announced Takayuki Ariwa as the new leader of Yankizoku! Ryoma Inoue began to protest, saying that he represented the "ideals" of Yankizoku the best out of them all, but Ebisawa kindly told Inoue that he wasn't strong enough to lead them. Ebisawa further elaborated that in any tribe no matter if it's about survival or raising hell, the strongest person always rises to leadership position! Ariwa further smoothed things over by announcing Ryoma Inoue as the second in command, and the official spokesperson for Yankizoku, admitting that the whole "talking" thing wasn't his strong suit. Ryoma Inoue then asked for his own specialized jacket...but instead was thrown the beanie by Seiji Ebisawa. Inoue looked dubious at this idea, but upon placing it on his head, his eyes lit up in glee. All the members of Yankizoku congratulated Ariwa and Inoue, until BIG BOY Tomizaki began to speak over the microphone. He took a few seconds to ready himself, before he excitedly asked if he could have the scarf to a round of laughter. Ebisawa handed him the scarf, which Tomizaki immediately threw around his neck and struck a pose with his bamboo sword in hand...Yankizoku left the ring, allowing Ebisawa to lead them out for the last time, while Tomizaki struck poses to the fans at ringside periodically...

The first match began oddly, as Millennium S.K. and Shuji Kawashima came out to Kawashima's theme "SURRENDER" and jogging to the ring, in matching jackets, all the while S.K. was sporting a smile of all things. The match itself was nothing much, as Millennium S.K. was able to lead his young charge Kawashima to victory over the AVENIR team of Kaisen Tiger and Kazuki Takagi, when S.K. hit Takagi with the Millennium Driver. After the match, S.K. took the microphone. S.K. announced that he was still "adjusting" to being on this side of pro-wrestling, and that tonight he wanted to feel what it was like being a untalented, carefree rookie, and matched his appearance up with the best example he could find. It took Kawashima a few seconds to realize he was being insulted, but the young man eventually put two and two together and protested. S.K. attempted to placate Kawashima by telling him that he wasn't untalented...he at least could run really fast. But for whatever reason, this didn't seem to please Kawashima, and the young rookie left the ring dejected. S.K. spent about a half second concerned about Kawashima, before he began to play to the crowd...

BIG BOY Tomizaki and his red scarf were unable to help Ichiyo Tatsuko defeat Keoni Murata and Natsuo Sakoda in a tag match. Although you would have thought it was a three on two, given how Tomizaki initially refused to remove the scarf, and even went as far as to use it to choke Sakoda at one point...However, the sheer weakness of Tatsuko proved their undoing, as Murata squashed him with the Great Wave Bodypress for the three count fall.

Two teams in the C-1 FUSION LEAGUE met in six man action in the third match, as the "rightful champions" of the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS faced off against the unaligned team of Toshiro Noguchi, Naoki Daishi and Akahito Yamada. Most of the match was spent with OVERTHROW using their speed and technique advantages to avoid the power of the ROUGHRIDERS, while Noguchi made the decision to run right into them like a bull. It would be "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop who scored the deciding fall, as he blasted Toshiro Noguchi with the Texan Bomber...However, Noguchi refused to fall out in a shocking moment! Unconcerned, Bishop bounced off the ropes, and BLASTED Noguchi in the back of the head with an Enzuilariat! Noguchi crumbled forward, and Bishop covered scoring the three count! Bishop cut a blistering promo after the match that Kuriyama attempted to translate over his own microphone. Bishop called OVERTHROW "worms" and promised to "hook 'em" in the tournament. He also promised to get revenge by beating "Hiriyama" and "Okamura" so badly that they'd run back to "Akamatsu" for protection, seemingly unaware that there are two Akamatsu's... He then promised to show the power of Texas in the tournament, and take back their titles before throwing the horns in the air to a sizeable round of jeers from the crowd.

AVENIR and Yankizoku came out for the fourth match, but in the middle of introductions, something began to happen in the crowd. A man forced himself through the crowd, and entered the crowd, revealing himself to be the 6'3 300 pound Masakazu Fujimoto of LOVE! The crowd was caught with a mixture of jeers and cheers, as despite his affiliation, Fujimoto has some fame from TV roles...There was an uncomfortable moment, as Fujimoto nervously stood in the ring, before he approached Yuki Nomura. AVENIR jumped to defend their Senpai, but Fujimoto stopped short and simply stared at Nomura. Another uncomfortable moment passed, until Fujimoto suddenly DROPPED TO HIS KNEES and began to BOW before Nomura! The crowd was utterly confused, as was Nomura. The massive man simply bowed with his head to the ground. Yuki Nomura asked for a microphone, and upon being given it, demanded to know what the meaning of this was before handing Fujimoto the microphone. Fujimoto stopped bowing long enough to answer. Fujimoto said that he had been recruited by Tenshin Komatsu months ago to do his dirty work due to Fujimoto's desperation to wrestle, but during the down time he had gotten a reoccurring role on "Love Scramble" on NTV. When the time came, Komatsu had made him do the attack, but it didn't feel right to Fujimoto, and since then everywhere he goes he has young women demanding to know why he had done such a horrible thing. Fujimoto was near tears, as he profusely professed his sincerest apologies for his actions. He begged for Yuki Nomura to forgive him, and save both his careers by allowing him to join Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON the right way! Yuki Nomura was completely baffled by Fujimoto, while Yankizoku were openly laughing at Fujimoto's emotional display. However, the crowd, touched by Fujimoto suddenly began small "Genji" chants, his character from Love Scramble...Nomura, after several seconds finally seemed to get tired of seeing the massive man cry, and ACCEPTED Fujimoto's heart felt appeal, and told him his "tryout" would be right now! Nomura kindly asked Hiroshi Kuroki to step out of the match, and allow Fujimoto to take his place, which the young man accepted. Using his Presidential Powers, Nomura announced that the six man match would now have Fujimoto on the AVENIR side! Suddenly, the whole thing wasn't so funny to Yankizoku anymore, and they began to protest to the referee. The referee turned to Nomura and kind of...asked what to do, Nomura pointed at himself,  mouthed "President" and then forced the referee to start the match...

AVENIR & Fujimoto took on the Yankizoku team of Ryoma Inoue, Mikio Tsruya & Keiji Hirano. What might have been a balanced match before Fujimoto's arrival became a virtual mismatch with the giant in the match. Yankizoku could do nothing to Fujimoto, as Nomura simply watched for most of the match amused. Everytime Yankizoku looked to be getting the upper hand, the massive former Pro-Wrestling DYNAMITE star would throw them away like children. Eventually, Nomura became tired of seeing a three on one situation, and intervened, taking Ryoma Inoue out of the match, while Amagawa and Tsuruya violently brawled. That left poor Keiji Hirano in the ring with a ill tempered Fujimoto after having his emotions mocked. Hirano attempted to springboard onto Fujimoto, but Fujimoto CRASHED into Hirano with a modified MONSTER RUSH tackle, before he lifted Hirano and spiked him on his head with his "Mt. Fujimoto Bomb" Death Valley Bomb for the victory!

With Yankizoku retreating to lick their wounds, Yuki Nomura offered an invitation to Fujimoto to join AVENIR to further polish up his skills. However, Fujimoto declined saying that right now his responsibilities in his other career would keep him from joining a group full time, but that he was more then interested in forging a "new path in wrestling" by himself for now. Nomura understood, and told Fujimoto to talk with him and they would iron out the details, saying that Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON would be more then willing to work around his schedule. Nomura then announced Fujimoto as the newest Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON roster member to a large response!

The main event had come with the top three from Yankizoku facing off against the top three from STRONGEST, as the AT CLUB of Takayuki Ariwa and Hiroyuki Takano teamed with unbeaten Ikuji Royama to take on the C-1 Heavyweight Champion Akuma Toyota, Nobuyori Shimizu, and C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Hayato Saigo. Unsurprisingly, but Toyota and Shimizu came into the match wounded, with Shimizu being far worse with tape around his neck and shoulders. There were several storylines playing out over the course of the match. Ariwa and Toyota kept butting heads with Toyota barely edging out Ariwa each time. Ariwa and Shimizu had several heated exchanges reminding everyone that Shimizu was Ariwa's senpai for over a year. Saigo and Royama wowed the crowd with beautiful exchanges, while Takano and Toyota went tooth and nail, as Toyota still claims ownership of the IFS Openweight Championship, a championship that Takano once held. Near the end of the match, when all order fell apart, the six men paired off. Toyota and Takano were locked in a fight at ringside, while Ariwa and Shimizu took each other out with a succession of deadly moves, leaving the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Hayato Saigo against the Number One Contender Ikuji Royama. However, it was clear fairly quickly that it wasn't an even match up, as Royama expertly countered Saigo's speed with precision counter attacks. Saigo would attempt a flying kick, and Royama would simply step away before blasting Saigo with a kick for example. Everything Saigo attempted, Royama had a counter for. Royama kicked Saigo in the head hard with a highkick, and then racked up a succession of his most powerful moves. A Capture Suplex, followed by a release German Suplex, followed by Royama's "FLARE UP!" the precursor to Royama's most powerful move. The crowd screamed in danger as the force of the slam forced Saigo into a sitting position, as Royama bounced off the ropes, and blasted Saigo with the Sliding Shotei! Saigo's head snapped back into the mat, and he lay unmoving as Royama covered the unbeatable champion, and gained the three count, utterly crushing the champion!

Several female fans screamed in concern for Saigo, as the top contender stood over the fallen champion. Toyota and Shimizu rushed back to the ring to tend to their partner and were followed shortly by the AT CLUB. Yankizoku took a microphone. Ariwa declared today a "new day" for Yankizoku, and promised that the AT CLUB would win the tag league! Takano spoke next, showing off a surprising attitude, as he called Akuma Toyota "Toyota-chan" mockingly, and promised to take revenge soon for all the beatings he had given him. The AT CLUB left with STRONGEST still tending to the near unconscious Hayato Saigo...However, Ikuji Royama remained in the ring, as he waited for Saigo to come to. When Saigo did, Royama made sure Saigo was watching him, before he pointed directly at Saigo. In a monotone voice, Royama then simply said "You can't beat me", before he dropped the microphone and walked away leaving Hayato Saigo beaten and confused...
