Akuma Toyota visited the Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON offices today for a meeting with President Yuki Nomura. Toyota arrived carrying all three of his championships and in a surprising suit looking like quite the figure despite his mohawk and two-tone hair. After the meeting, the two engaged reporters for a small press briefing.
Yuki Nomura took over, giving a stern speech saying that the "events" that took place in the main event of the 10/13 Anniversary show will "not be tolerated", and that the rampant interference and distractions that had taken place would not be overlooked. Nomura announced that he had fined everyone that had ran down and interfered in the main event, depending on the severity of their intrusion. Unsurprisingly, Takayuki Ariwa was fined the most for actually climbing into the ring and attacking Toyota, but that everyone else from MOUJA to Inoue+Royama+Tomizaki+Tatsuko, the BLACKHEART members, and Nobuyori Shimizu had suffered some form of penalty for their actions. Nomura declared that if anyone interfered like that from now on, he would either suspend them or FIRE them for their transgressions, claiming that this is not a "captain less ship", and would be governed like a well ran company should. After his speech was over, Nomura allowed Toyota to answer some questions...
Akuma Toyota announced his intentions to lead Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON into the future as the new "ace" of the promotion. Toyota said that he had much to repent for after his turn to Rouzeki-GUN, and his run with Akamatsu in the BLACKHEARTS, but intended to show off his strength, courage, and commitment by being the strongest champion in CRIMSON history. Yuki Nomura jokingly claimed that he hadn't "handed" the title of ace to anyone, but despite the President's surprising comment, Toyota handed it in stride, claiming that he would make sure to earn Nomura's "seal of approval" soon...
The questions turned to the dissolving of the BLACKHEARTS, which Toyota replied "had to be done" as they had been coasting since Akamatsu's loss and departure. Toyota praised Akamatsu's strength, courage, and determination, but stated that Akamatsu "wasn't strong enough to fulfill his goals", simply because what Akamatsu wanted to do was impossible. Toyota stated that there was "no going back" to the days of BSPW, PROMO*JAPAN or ZION where one company had the strongest wrestlers and led the world of pro-wrestling to a glory day, but ultimately a crash when things fell apart. Toyota stated that this era is dependent upon each individual wrestler, and each promotion to give the fans a reason to come and see the shows, and to present the best wrestlers they can. Toyota ended by saying that the "strength of many overcomes the strength of the few", the exact opposite of Tatsumichi Akamatsu's views...
Akuma Toyota was surprisingly soft while talking about Jake Bishop and Rui Kuriyama, who both walked out on him, saying that if they thought hard enough they would come to the same conclusion he had, and would follow in his steps. In Kuriyama in particular, Toyota seemed concerned. Saying that Kuriyama had almost worshiped Akamatsu like a god, and not only seeing him lose but also seeing his ideology fail may have been a "crushing blow" for him...
Yuki Nomura took over the briefing at this point, revealing some details on Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's first tour under his watch...Nomura called it a "test", to see if the idea would ultimately succeed. Nomura stated the tour would have the name "CRIMSON CONCERTO ~ WEEKEND RHAPSODY" which gave Nomura a fit getting the correct pronunciation. The idea behind the "tour" is that every show will take place on a weekend day. Namely Saturday and Sunday's. Nomura stated the idea would be to catch people not working, and more willing to attend the events. The "tour" will also finish in Miyagi, a surprising departure from CRIMSON's usual protocol...Nomura explained saying that Miyagi has often not been visited by CRIMSON as often as the other neighboring regions to Iwate, and as such felt they "deserved" a special event.
Nomura revealed two matches for the event based off the events from the 13th...the first will take place at the tour opener at Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium as Akuma Toyota & Goro Iijima will defend their C-1 Tag Team Championships against the men that deserted them, "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop & Rui Kuriyama.
The other will be the main event of the Zepp Sendai show, as it will see Akuma Toyota & Nobuyori Shimizu who are currently calling their pairing "STRONGEST" will team with two more people to take on MOUJA of Seiji Ebisawa, Takayuki Ariwa, Hiroyuki Takano & Keiji Hirano in an elimination match! Traditional rules will apply including over the top eliminations, pinfalls, and submissions.
Akuma Toyota then announced that he and Shimizu had found their first of two partners...and announced that they would be teaming with fellow Ryo Suzuki graduate and C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion HAYATO SAIGO! Toyota said that they had an "idea" of who they wanted for their fourth, and humbly and publicly asked SORAI KAMACHI to join their ranks! Toyota announced that they would be pulling together the "Strongest of Suzuki's graduates" and that both Saigo and the former "Millennium S.K." fit the bill perfectly. Saigo agreed Toyota said, but they hadn't asked Kamachi until now...
