The main event tonight saw an event that many fans have termed “difficult to watch” as the BLACKHEART’s captain Akuma Toyota took on the injured NGI leader Nobuyori Shimizu in the Power Source tournament. Shimizu came out with a determined look on his face, but the bandages on his right shoulder gave it all away. Not one to feel compassion for his fellow human being, Akuma Toyota ripped into Shimizu’s arm with fury and intensity. Using whatever he could find at hand, Toyota aimed to “finish the job” that had started back in April. Shimizu refused to give up, or stay down, but it was clear he had no answer for Toyota’s attacks…After over ten minutes of a brutal beating, Toyota finally grabbed Shimizu in a step-over armbar, sat down on Shimizu’s back and yanked backwards on Shimizu’s shoulder with all his immense strength. Shimizu screamed in pain, but sensing his tournament life at stake, refused to give up! Shimizu screamed, and tried to get to the ropes, but Toyota just kept pulling back harder and harder…After well over two minutes of this, Shimizu seemed to almost black out from the pain, and the referee rushed in calling an end to the contest and giving Toyota the two points! However, Akuma wasn’t finished there, as he went out and grabbed a chair and planned to attack Shimizu some more…Until IZUMO YORITOMO lumbered into the ring and knocked the BLACKHEART’s captain down with a vicious blow! NGI quickly hit the ring and formed a protective shield around their leader, as Yoritomo took a microphone, and said that he would “make Toyota pay for his crimes”! NGI evacuated Shimizu out of the building from there, ending the show on a dark feeling…
The “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop suffered his first tournament loss tonight, as he ran face to face into the man who has come back to CRIMSON to defeat the BLACKHEARTS, Seiji Ebisawa! Despite Bishop’s power, Ebisawa’s intelligence and technique won out as he spiked Bishop with an Exploder for the three count. After the match, Ebisawa held up two fingers to symbolize that he’s now defeated two of the five BLACKHEART members…
The mirror images of one style clashed in the fourth Power Source match of the night, as the two highfliers of Hiroyuki Takano and Keiji Hirano clashed…The only difference between them was one represented good, while the other evil…Both men were evenly pitched as each excels in the same area, but Hirano had the trump card of trickery…However, he attempted a low blow, but Takano avoided and in one motion hit the Takano Driver for the flash three count!
Takayuki Ariwa showed Rui Kuriyama a vast difference in power between them in the third tournament match of the night, as the NGI member crushed the BLACKHEARTS youngest member with the Angelos after completely ignoring the affects of Kuriyama’s “Kuri Lariat”…
The tank that is Eisaku Shimura desperately needs to figure out some firepower solutions, as he was once again dispatched in the second tournament match of the night. Shimura is able absorb heavy attacks, but can never fire back…Despite it taking over ten minutes, Noguchi was never in danger and finished off Shimura with the Thunder Hammer.
Poor, Poor Shuji Kawashima. He wrestled a motivated Izumo Yoritomo. Kawashima tried to use his speed, but it was like a rubber ball running into a brick wall. Yoritomo tired of Kawashima running at him, and caught him with a Nodowa-Otoshi burying the young rookie and covering for the three count.
