The blitz of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON information continues, as the venue bookings for Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's next two months were finally released to the public after much stalling. Of note, is that a fifth show has been added to the "Power Source Prelude" event series on the 10th at Akita Terusa.
Both tours have several big buildings, which were explained by Mimura during an interview with several media people, saying that the Power Source tournament has traditionally been the "highest peak" of the year for Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON in regards to fan activity, match quality, and emotional feelings, and as such Mimura is planning on capitalizing with several big buildings.
On top of the venues being released, Mimura formally announced several key matches for the Prelude event series. The five show series will feature some important match ups, with more to be announced. The big surprise is the C-1 Tag Team Championship match on the 27th...Mimura revealed that Tatsumichi Akamatsu had threatened to abandon his title defense against Iijima and hold the C-1 Heavyweight Championship hostage if a BLACKHEARTS team didn't challenge...As a result, Akuma Toyota and the "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop get a shot at Shimizu and Noguchi...
On the 15th, the feud that's been simmering since February finally reaches it's conclusion as Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's top "heel" and now it's hero gets his chance to take on the #1 enemy of all of CRIMSON in "Supreme Commander" Tatsumichi Akamatsu for the C-1 Heavyweight Championship...Akamatsu has promised to take out his frustrations on Iijima, while Iijima has promised to end the curse of the BLACKHEARTS with a crushing victory. DARK SUMMIT's blacklisted fourth member may be waiting around the corner to ensure victory for his side as well...This event will be the only one of the tour aired live on Sky PefecTV! As many fans all around Japan are interested in seeing the “final confrontation” of these two men…
The title of "Strongest" will be up for grabs on the 20th, as C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Akahito Yamada takes on Hayato Saigo for the championship. Saigo hasn't received a championship chance since losing the championship to Naoki Daishi in July of last year, while Yamada has been on the hottest streak of anyone in CRIMSON. For either man, this will be the signboard moment of their career with a victory.
With the threats from Akamatsu, President Mimura was forced to give the BLACKHEARTS a revenge "chance" against NGI on the 27th. Akuma Toyota and "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop will look to take back the C-1 Tag Team Championships from the emotional favorites of Nobuyori Shimizu and Toshiro Noguchi in the final event leading up to the Power Source.
The final bit of information from the interview, was during the Prelude series, the blocks for the Power Source tournament would be revealed...Mimura said that Akamatsu had been making "interesting threats" and that he would have to weigh if he had to listen to them or not...but that Mimura wasn't one to be fooled easily, and there would be a SPECIAL GUEST on the 27th that may, or may not have a baring on the Power Source this year...
