Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON president Kazushi Mimura gave a statement to reporters at the offices of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON in Iwate. Mimura covered several subjects, but began with the announcement that on the first that Akamatsu would defend the C-1 Heavyweight Championship outside of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON. Mimura expressed severe anger at Akamatsu's actions, but said that CRIMSON had "no control" over Akamatsu's bookings and since he had taken the title, there was little that Mimura could do to stop it short of forcing a vacating of the title...but Mimura stressed that such a tactic wasn't an option at this time, and asked the fans of CRIMSON, and the wrestlers to go along with these actions for now...
The second topic Mimura covered was Yuki Nomura...Mimura stated that it was obvious now that Nomura was not in wrestling condition when he made his return on the 19th against Kuriyama. The chair shot that Kuriyama used, Mimura said, was not enough to normally have taken Nomura out of the match, but that it had been enough to knock Nomura unconscious for a period of time. Trainers checked out Nomura's neck, and found that it was severely strained. Nomura was heavily damaged from his match against Akamatsu on the 4th, but hadn't given himself time to recover and tried to force his recovery. Because of this, Nomura is OFF the huge 2/29 Osaka show, and Toshiro Noguchi will step up to replace him. This changes the FURY and CRIMSON team to F-MAX Heavyweight Champion Akira Takayoshi and Go Taniguchi teaming with CRIMSON's full "N.G.I." force of Nobuyori Shimizu, Toshiro Noguchi, and Takayuki Ariwa in the big ten man contest. As for Nomura’s future, Mimura wasn’t clear but said that after some time off, Nomura should be back at 100%.
The final aspect that Mimura spoke on was the appearance of Stephen Priest...Mimura wondered what Goro Iijima was thinking to try and bring such a man back to CRIMSON, but stated that the ban on Priest STILL EXISTS, and Mimura REFUSES to reinstate Priest. Mimura stated that while it was dark in CRIMSON currently, it would have to be completely sealed off from light before he reached out to allow Stephen Priest to wrestle in a CRIMSON ring ever again after the actions he committed. Mimura ended by saying that he was not that desperate to allow a demon to fight his battles for him in this war!
Goro Iijima sent out an immediate reply to this statement over his blog, chiding Mimura for his decision stating "It will only get worse from here". Iijima said that regardless if Priest was a sanctioned CRIMSON wrestler or not, he'd still make sure to have his presence felt...
