Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ~ News & Notes ~ 8/03/07

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON young star Takayuki Ariwa held a sat down interview with Haruhiro Ushiba from Yahoo! Sports Japan that was recently published…Ariwa gave candid thoughts about CRIMSON, and his venture into FREEDOM for their ROAD Super League.

(On CRIMSOM): Ariwa expressed some worry over what his status in N.G.I. when Nobuyori Shimizu, but then remarked that he had improved by leaps and bounds since becoming the student of Toshiro Noguchi. Ariwa said his goal by the end of the year was to capture a C-1 championship, and to help Noguchi drive Rouzeki-GUN out of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON!

(On FREEDOM ROAD Super League): Ariwa remarked that he had been approached by President Shirai to be the CRIMSON representative for the tour, and had been surprised…but then said that he was excited for this chance to broaden his horizons against worthy competitors.

(vs. Higuchi at 08/27/07): Ariwa stated that he wasn’t too excited with wrestling Higuchi, pointing out that Higuchi had just left CRIMSON, so they put him in an unfavorable position. To maintain his promotion’s value, he HAD to defeat Higuchi and prove that Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON was superior…Ariwa stressed that he would do everything in his power to not fail his home promotion.

(vs. Matsuda at 08/29/07): Ariwa sighed before continuing, saying that Matsuda was likely the toughest opponent he would face in the group stages…Ariwa said that Matsuda’s style was aggressive, and looked for any openings. Ariwa gave away his gameplan when he said that he would use all his highly evolved Amateur Wrestling abilities to smother Matsuda before finishing him off!

(vs. Fujimoto at 08/31/07) Ariwa smiled from ear to ear, before exclaiming how overjoyed he was at this match. Ariwa pointed out that Fujimoto was arguably the strongest wrestler in FREEDOM, and that neither of them had met anyone as strong as the other…Ariwa then proudly proclaimed that while Fujimoto was bigger, he was no match for Ariwa, and his wrestler’s base. Ariwa confidently added that by the end of the match, Fujimoto would be exhausted from trying to deal with Ariwa’s power while Ariwa would be able to run ten miles without a break! When it comes to feats of power, no one is Ariwa’s match he declared!

(vs. Ohmiori at 09/01/07): Ariwa remarked that he didn’t know anything about Nakata, but said that he comes from Superstar Pro, which means that Nakata is capable…Ariwa said that it didn’t matter who trained you, however, but how you used that training…and Ariwa then proclaimed that not only was he trained by Ryo Suzuki, but he was being trained by Noguchi. Ariwa confidently declared that he would win this match without fail!

(vs. Honda at 09/03/07): Ariwa began by asking if the reporter had any information on Honda…when the reporter replied that Honda had been a soccer player, Ariwa broke into laughter…Ariwa then declared that Soccer did not prepare you for pro-wrestling, and based on their pasts alone, he would crush Honda because he was a “true” Pro-Wrestler from Wrestling stock!

The full interview will be on shelves on August 9th.
