The 16th show, at the second largest venue of the tour will also feature a C-1 Tag Team Championships defense as Tenshin Komatsu & Makoto Saito look for their V.4 against the team of Kenjiro Amagawa & Mikio Tsuruya, or also known as the “Backdrop Brothers” team.

The 23rd Finals will have Katsumi Gakusha defending the IFS Open-Weight Championship against Aku Toyota for his V.4 defense of the title. Mimura mused, that after Toyota’s actions on the 27th, that this would be more then a routine defense, but an opportunity for both men to show their worth to the entire wrestling world…

Mimura also mentioned that he was launching a formal investigation into the substance that Iijima spit into Nomura’s eyes during their title match on the 27th…Mimura admitted that it would be incredibly hard to prove anything, but that he strongly suspected foul play with that substance…

After the press conference ended, several wrestlers gave thoughts directly the press…The most interesting one was Natsuo Sakoda, who had been silently attending the press conference. Sakoda revealed that he is bitter about how the tournament had been arranged, remarking that he should have been given a slot in it…Sakoda even went as far as to say that CRIMSON has devalued itself by letting in outsiders, while making one of their own sit on the sidelines…

Hayato Saigo announced that he had taken a massive beating from Naoki Daishi, but suffered no serious injuries, only a “sore neck” from being dropped on it multiple times. Saigo said he felt around 75%, but by the time himself and Murata were in action on the 5th, that he should be back at 100%, and was eagerly awaiting another shot at Daishi in the tournament…

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s latest tour, the FUSION J-LEAGUE began tonight in the homebase of Iwate, at the always red hot Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium! Before the action began, all the teams in the FUSION J-LEAGUE were brought to the ring one by one with sashes on. Once all the teams were in the ring, the PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Championships were displayed to each team individually. A tense moment developed when Hayato Saigo noticed that Naoki Daishi had worn the C-1 Jr. Heavyweight Championship to the ring, and confronted him. They were pulled apart by their partners, but the attention was suddenly turned to the other side of the ring as Shino Hiriyama, one half of the IFS Tag Champions, and one half of the FREEDOM Representative team had taken a microphone hostage! Hiriyama called all the teams in the ring “boring”, and said that he and Okamura would steamroll all of them! Hiriyama tossed the microphone to Okamura, who looked at it for a second…then HURLED it into the face of Naoki Daishi, whacking him in the face! A sudden brawl erupted between all the teams, but Hiriyama and Okamura bailed from the ring, and laughed all the way to the back…

The 2007 FUSION J-LEAGUE kicked off in earnest with the two instigators from FREEDOM, Shino Hiriyama and Kazuhiro Okamura taking on the Pro-Wrestling HERO representative, Minoru Nikaido and Wes Climer. The fans avidly booed the FREEDOM team due to their inherent nature, and the current war between CRIMSON and FREEDOM, which made the HERO team the defacto fan favorites. Minoru Nikaido and Wes Climer showed off some serious fire during the match, scoring with many impressive series of moves, including a bulldog from Climer into a flying legdrop by Nikaido, which earned them loud applause from the fans. However, their opponents were no normal team, as Hiriyama and Okamura showed off why they are the Tag Team “aces” of FREEDOM, as they were able to regain control against the HERO team, leading to Hiriyama spiking Climer on the back of his head with the Picture Perfect German Suplex, only to release the bridge…just so Okamura could pick up Climer and SLAM him down with the KO Cutter for the win! Hiriyama and Okamura mocked their fallen opponents briefly, but quickly left the scene when the theme of OVERTHROW began to signify the next match…Backstage, Nikaido and Climer both praised The IFS Tag Champions for their strength…exactly the opponent, Hiriyama and Okamura insulted Nikaido and Climer, calling them “weak” and unfit for high level wrestling…

Two Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON teams clashed in the second tournament match of the night as HEROICS’ top two of HANZO and MUSASHI Tomizaki took on the now current C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Naoki Daishi, and his partner Akahito Yamada. HEROICS fought hard against the over whelming ability and experience of “OVERTHROW”, but the result was never really in doubt. Tomizaki was eventually cut off from his more experienced partner, which allowed Naoki Daishi to BLAST Tomizaki in the face with a high kick! Tomizaki stumbled right into position for Yamada, who spiked him on his head with a Straight Jacket Suplex Hold for the pinfall to keep Naoki Daishi’s amazing streak alive, and two points for the team of OVERTHROW. Backstage, Yamada and Daishi promised to keep winning, calling themselves the “strongest pure unit in the tournament”.

BURNING PARADISE’s duo of “Kamikaze Barons” known as Fritz Takahashi and Hans Watanabe made their Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON in the third tournament match of the night against the Pro-Wrestling FURY team of the OKINAWA SPEED STARS of Kotaro Ota and Fumihiko Shirai. The match was a complete clash of styles, as the Kamikaze Barons did everything in their power to possibly keep their young opponents grounded. However, the ultra high paced style of the OKINAWA SPEED STARS was almost impossible to keep grounded and they fought back against the Baron’s methodical style. Kotaro Ota was able to grab Takahashi and spike him down with the Violent Spark, but Takahashi’s partner, Watanabe broke up the pin. Somehow, the battle ended up on the floor, with the two teams brawling…The count reached a critical count of seventeen, and the two Kamikaze Barons latched onto the OKINAWA SPEED STARS, and held them until the count reached twenty, counting both teams out! Due to the rules for the tournament, both teams receive one point due to the count out loss, since it is in essence a “draw”…Backstage, the OKINAWA SPEED STARS vented their frustration at their opponents using such a cheap tactic…While the Kamikaze Barons gloated, and promised to do that for EVERY match they might lose!

The main event of the night saw the final tournament match consisting of SUPERSTAR PRO’s young team of SAKA Ibuchi and Saru Ito taking on a stiff “level up” challenge as they took on the two MILLENIUM STARS representatives of former C-1 Jr. Heavyweight Champion Millennium S.K. and his protégé, “Mr. LSD” Ryoma Inoue. The match was largely one sided, with the MILLENNIUM STARS team controlling the vast majority of the match based mainly on their natural skills against the two young wrestlers. However, despite the challenge that they faced the team of SAKA Ibuchi and Saru Ito refused to give up, and continued to fight on. Ito nearly got the pinfall when Inoue was trying to set up a German Suplex, and Ito rolled through it into a cradle, but it would prove to be the final close call for the SPRO team, as S.K. broke up the pinfall with a running knee to the face, that completely took the fight out of the young SPRO wrestler, allowing Inoue to hook him with the L*D Suplex Hold for the pinfall victory and two points in the league…Backstage, the SPRO team vowed to try harder in future matches, while the MILLENNIUM STARS team promised to run roughshod over the rest of the tournament, adding the PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Championships to their trophy case…

Before the tournament matches began, three matches took place…Rouzeki-GUN continued their good fortunes in the third match of the night, as the newly crowned C-1 Heavyweight Champion Goro Iijima teamed with Aku Toyota, Makoto Saito & Tenshin Komatsu to take on the combined team of Yuki Nomura, Izumo Yoritomo, Keiji Hirano and Toshiro Noguchi…The two focal points of the match was Toshiro Noguchi, who was once again incredibly animated in his attempts to get revenge on Rouzeki-GUN, and the next IFS Open-Weight Championship challenger Aku Toyota who showed incredible form in route to spiking Hirano on the back of his head with the Sky High Suplex for the three count victory.

The Backdrop Brothers gained more momentium in the second match, as they took on the HEROICS combination of DRAGON Takagi and Royama the Brave. Despite a valiant fight, the HEROICS team was grossly outmatches, and Tsuruya put Takagi away with the Tsurubeuchi. In the opening match, the half gaijin, half native team of Jason Taylor and Takayuki Ariwa teamed up to take on the team of Natsuo Sakoda and Sojiro Sayuki. Despite Sakoda’s bitterness at being left out of the 2007 FUSION J-LEAGUE, the power of Ariwa was far too much to overcome, leading to Ariwa slamming Sayuki down with the Hammerfall for the victory.
