- Shino Hiriyama and Kazuhiro Okamura took on Superstar PRO’s Saru Ito and SAKA Ibuchi in the first tournament match of the night. The young Superstar PRO team put up a valiant fight against one of their own in Okamura, and his partner Shino Hiriyama, however the skill gap was far too large, allowing Hiriyama to land his body press called the GLITTERING GOLD for the win.

- Two teams with no points clashed in the second tournament match of the night, as Pro-Wrestling HERO’s Minoru Nikaido and Wes Climer fought CRIMSON’s HANZO and MUSASHI Tomizaki in a high paced, if short match. Surprisingly, it was the HERO team that overcame the CRIMSON home team, as Nikaido managed to lock Tomizaki in his Evangelion submission hold for the submission victory!

- Two of the most powerful teams in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON faced off in the third tournament match of the night. C-1 Junior-Heavyweight champion Naoki Daishi and his partner Akahito Yamada clashed against former C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Millennium S.K. and his protégé Ryoma Inoue. Daishi came out to the ring with heavy tape around his ankle, which forced Akahito Yamada to cover the bulk of the match against their devious opponents of S.K. and Inoue. Yamada showed off how far he’s come since he hooked up with Daishi and fought against the odds bravely, but eventually their combined power forced him to bring in Daishi. The match really heated up, with Daishi and Yamada fighting on as a combined unit, but Daishi never fully appeared to be at 100% due to his ankle, which allowed S.K. to suddenly attack Daishi’s ankle and torment him for several minutes, before locking Daishi in an ankle hold forcing the submission expert to submit!

- The main event of the night saw the unbeaten Hayato Saigo and Keoni Murata take on the ever devious BURNING PARADISE Kamikaze Barons! The Barons looked confident, as they immediately bull-rushed Saigo and Murata, trying to force them to a double ring out immediately! However, the former C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champions fought off this blatant tactic, and the match resumed its focus. However, the sheer power gap between the two top stars of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s junior division, and the Kamikaze Barons was instantly realized as the Barons couldn’t get any kind of tactics going, as Saigo and Murata picked them apart. The Barons had once last trick up their sleeves, as Fritz Takahashi and Saigo spilled out of the ring…and Fritz and Hans threw POWDER into Saigo’s and Murata’s eyes! However, the grand scheme went backwards on the Kamikaze Barons, as the powder went into their eyes as well, blinding all four men! All four blindly grabbed at anything around them in a desperate attempt to break up the count, but all four kept running into each otherin a confused heap of bodies, with Watanabe at one point falling into the crowd! With no other recourse, the referee counted all four men, giving a double count out to both teams!

2007 FUSION J-LEAGUE STANDINGS

With just two more tournament dates left to go, the field has narrowed down from nine eligible teams to six. In first place, the C-1 All-Star Mentor/Student team of Hayato Saigo and Keoni Murata are at eleven points remaining completely unbeaten in the tournament. In second is the FREEDOM top team of Shino Hiriyama and Kazuhiro Okamura after their crushing victory tonight. In third place is the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Naoki Daishi and his OVERTHROW partner Akahito Yamada after falling tonight due to Daishi’s injury. In fourth, amazingly, is the Kamikaze Barons from BURNING PARADISE, their devious plan seemingly paying off as they have managed to slink their way into the four top places without a single direct loss! The final two teams still in the hunt are Pro-Wrestling FURY’s OKINAWA SPEED STARS and Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s Millennium S.K. and Ryoma Inoue at seven points. Sadly, three teams have been knocked completely out of the running as Pro-Wrestling HERO’s Minoru Nikaido & Wes Climer, Superstar PRO’s Saru Ito & SAKA Ibuchi, and Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s HANZO and MUSASHI Tomizaki can only fight for their pride, with no hope whatsoever of making the semi finals.
