The feud between Hayato Saigo and Millennium S.K. reached a new point as they clashed for the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship at the home arena of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium! Despite both having held the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship, this was the first time the two former best friends have clashed for the championship! Millennium S.K. was accompanied by SLAYER and Ryoma Inoue, while Saigo was accompanied by Keoni Murata and Natsuo Sakoda which created a chaotic environment at ringside from the opening bell. Both appeared to be even at the opening stages of the match, but a well placed low blow by S.K. turned the tides for the former champion. S.K. controlled a long stretch of time, trying to put Saigo out with the Millennium Driver among other moves, but when S.K. went for the Dementia Crash, Saigo was able to escape the move before landing a quick solebutt into a sunset flip for a near fall! The match turned into a sprint with both men landing the biggest moves they could possibly land to keep the other. S.K. survived a Brainbuster Suplex, the Matsukasa, and the Phoenix Splash! S.K. was able to finally hit Saigo with the Dementia Crash, the move he used to beat Shin Kaiju for the title back in 2003…but Saigo kicked out! Saigo made a comeback and hit two Brainbuster Suplexes for a near fall! SLAYER suddenly tried to storm the ring, but Murata appeared out of nowhere and speared SLAYER completely out of the ring! Ryoma Inoue attempted to get involved, but Sakoda was able to grab him from behind and hold him at ringside! Saigo placed S.K. on the top rope and climbed up after him. S.K. began to struggle, but Saigo was able to fight him off before dropping him VERTICALLY on his head with an avalanche brainbuster! Saigo covered, and was able to successfully make his V.2 defense of the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship! Saigo’s celebration was short lived, however, as the once oh-so-familiar theme of Shin Kaiju began to play in the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium! The loyal fans of CRIMSON began to erupt with cheers as the “Strongest Junior” made his return to his former haunt! Shin Kaiju climbed into the ring, and IMMEDIATELY Kaiju Lariated Natsuo Sakoda! Kaiju then picked up the microphone, and told Saigo he had sixteen days to enjoy being champion, because Kaiju was going to rip the championship off him by force on the 1st!
The semi-final saw a rare eight man tag take place as Rouzeki-GUN + Kazuki Takagi took on, and defeated the sekigun of Yuki Nomura, Toshiro Noguchi, Yujiro Higuchi and Takayuki Ariwa in a chaotic match up. It came down to Toyota and Higuchi, as the traitor, Toyota was able to revenge his recent falling to his former partner when he crushed Higuchi with a lariat for the pinfall victory.
The MILLENIUM STARS scored a total victory over OVERTHROW in the fourth match as the team of SLAYER, HANZO, and Ryoma Inoue bested Naoki Daishi, Akahito Yamada and Sojiro Sayuki. The match was back and forth, but the overwhelming strength of SLAYER against the weakness of Sayuki was enough as SLAYER crushed him with the Zanzai Lariat for the win.
Izumo Yoritomo and Keiji Hirano continued their quest to be the “strongest” team in FURY as they took on and defeated the team of Eiichi Aihara and Kenjiro Amagawa. The thrown together team were no match for Yoritomo and Hirano’s abilities, and Aihara was pinned with the Sea’s Typhoon Ozeki from Yoritomo. The second match of the night saw Keoni Murata and Akira Tomizaki take on and defeat Natsuo Sakoda and Ryosei Royama in a spirited conflict. Royama was once again the weak link for Sakoda and was pinned by Murata with a Backdrop Suplex Hold. Oddly, Makoto Saito and Mikio Tsuruya opened the night having a hard fought contest. However, one half of the “Demon Breed” proved to be strong enough to down a “Backdrop Brother” as Makoto Saito was able to hit the Shinto Akuji for the pinfall victory.
