[CRIMSON] 5/20/10 ~ News

- 2010 POWER SOURCE winner Tenshin Komatsu was given a celebratory event in his honor for winning the sixth encounter of the POWER SOURCE. Komatsu posed for pictures with his 2007 and 2010 trophies while Kazuya Endo and Strong Tomizaki held up Komatsu's check for one million yen. After the festivities ended, Komatsu confirmed what many suspected. Komatsu announced his resignation from the STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY to reunite with Makoto Saito and his Bloody Gears faction. Komatsu praised STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY leader Nobuyori Shimizu as a person and as a strong champion, but said that after five months regaining his identity, it was now time to return to his own path.

Komatsu reminisced to one year ago at the Kyocera Dome, and how all his aspirations at the time evaporated at DREAM + INFINITY IV against Akuma Toyota. Once again, Komatsu's future path coincides with the mega event, as Nobuyori Shimizu will defend the C-1 Heavyweight Championship against Pro-Wrestling FURY's Akira Takayoshi at DREAM + INFINITY V. Komatsu called for both men to fight hard and that he would eagerly anticipate facing the "better man" on 7/27...

- With the POWER SOURCE concluded, now all eyes turn to Pro-Wrestling FURY's super show in Osaka at the Osaka Castle Hall. Many of the greatest wrestlers in the world will be on display at the annual DREAM + INFINITY, but for Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON fans, the top two matches hold the most interest.

Nobuyori Shimizu will defend the C-1 Heavyweight Championship against the always dangerous Akira Takayoshi in the semi final. The two have split preliminary battles, with each man scoring a victory over the other. Shimizu will attempt his fifth defense of the championship which would make him the second most successful champion in history. While Takayoshi aims to become the first FURY wrestler to claim the championship, and only the second outsider to ever hold the C-1 Heavyweight Championship. The winner of this battle will go on to Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's BATTLE ZONE on 7/27 to face POWER SOURCE winner Tenshin Komatsu for the championship.

But arguably, all eyes are on the main event as the two strongest men in the pro-wrestling world battle. Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's Akuma Toyota battles Pro-Wrestling FURY's Naoki Fukuda for Fukuda's F-MAX Heavyweight Championship. Not only is the battle one of immense strength and stature, there is also history on the line. If Akuma Toyota can defeat Naoki Fukuda, Toyota will become the only man to have held the top championship in the top three promotions in all of Japan! For Fukuda, it is a chance to prove his status as Ace of Pro-Wrestling FURY against the MVP of the wrestling world! In their two preliminary scraps, Fukuda's REAL-ONE faction bested Toyota's HEAVY WAR in a street fight. However, HEAVY WAR fought back by defeating REAL-ONE in a War Games-style cage match. Both matches were highlights by intense violence. With the stakes even higher at Osaka Castle Hall, what can we expect from these two monsters?

No matter the outcome in either of these all important championship matches, the course of Pro-Wrestling in Japan will be altered towards a new path blazed once again at DREAM + INFINITY!
