[CRIMSON] 4/09/10 @ Tokyo Korakuen Hall ~ GOLDEN CHANCE~2DAY~NIGHT ONE

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON returned to Tokyo for it's April tradition, the two day junior tournament, GOLDEN CHANCE~2DAY! 1,733 fans gathered at Korakuen Hall for the first round of the tournament. Eight wrestlers opened up the night as HEAVY WAR faced off against the STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY. Akuma Toyota's reign of destruction since failing to lift the C-1 Heavyweight Championship continued, as Toyota beheaded Toshiro Noguchi with a lariat to score the victory.

The GOLDEN CHANCE~2DAY tournament kicked off with a high spirited battle between AVENIR's Hiroshi Kuroki and Bloody Gear's young former professional fighter Kazuya Endo. Endo attempted to use his fighting strikes and techniques to control Kuroki's high energy attack. Kuroki proved to be too much, as he ducked under Endo's Spiral Blow to hit a reverse frankensteiner into the PRISM for the fall, and advancement in the tournament!

One of three Pro-Wrestling FURY wrestlers stepped up to the plate next, as the former Kinniku Kamen Nisei, Seiji Sasaki gave a "leveled up" performance against Bloody Gear's Strong Tomizaki. Tomizaki attempted to use moves similar to Endo's in the prior match, but failed miserably throughout. Sasaki took full control before using his SS Smash, a running ace crusher for the three count and the fourth spot in the second round!

AVENIR and KYOURUI 6 clashed in the third tournament battle, as Ryoma Inoue faced off against the other half of PREDATORS, Kaisen Tiger. Inoue managed to keep up with Kaisen Tiger's attack throughou the battle, but after a comeback from Tiger, Inoue struggled to stay competitive. A failed bamboo sword attack from his wife Tomiko Inoue sealed the match for Inoue, as Kaisen Tiger capitalized with the Bullet Wrath with a hooked cradle for the three count. Surprisingly, Tomiko was meek in admitting her failures to her husband, and instead of an attack on Ryoma's ego and body, the two shared a happy happy love hug in the middle of the ring...

The second of three Pro-Wrestling FURY's wrestlers advanced to the second round, as Kotaro Ota of the famed Okinawa Speed Stars defeated AVENIR's Keiji Hirano. After a back and forth battle, Ota used two Violent Sparks to put the AVENIR member down to the mat for the three count fall. Post-match, Ota gave a friendly love call to fellow Okinawa Speed Stars member Hayato Saigo to make the finals to face him. Meanwhile, Keiji Hirano bitterly accepted his loss, before mentioning that reinventing himself twice had not improved his level, and that maybe it was time for a "break"...

The third of three Pro-Wrestling FURY wrestlers faced off against one of the top stars of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, Etsuya Kawachi battled Millennium S.K. in a star studded battle of two famed junior-stars. The two engaged in the longest tournament battle of the night, with both men evenly matched throughout. Both Kawachi and S.K. used all their biggest moves with neither man able to gain an definitive advantage. Great Teacher Kawachi's famed intelligence proved to be the deciding factor as a serious of counters out of each other's big maneuvers ended with Kawachi locking S.K. in a lightning fast GTK II for the flash three count victory! Kawachi attempted to shake S.K.'s hand but S.K. stormed out of the ring, and left the building without word to anyone...

One final first round battle remained, as the heated enemies of Hayato Saigo and Akahito Yamada faced off to determine the final tournament competitor. If a decisive battle was expected, the match itself was a disappointment. Yamada spent the entire match avoiding Saigo raising the ire of Saigo to a fever pitch. After several minutes of stalling, the battle finally began when right on cue KYOURUI 6 attacked, causing a disqualification! Yamada cackled, as KYOURUI 6 went to work targing Saigo's neck ending with Yamada using his rope-assisted Crossface of Yamada to choke and injure Saigo's throat. Pro Wrestling CRIMSON and FURY united to charge the ring chasing KYOURUI 6 out of the ring, but the damage had already been done as Saigo had to have medical help. Backstage Yamada gleefully claimed that he had never said he would "win" the match, instead that he was only going to make sure Saigo couldn't win!

The United States and Japan collided one more time. This time to decide the greatest tag team in the world. Team Danger, the assassins from America faced off against the champions from Japan, TakaGawa! Kenjiro Amagawa and Shinsuke Takahashi, riding a wave of momentum not often seen charged into battle against their much stronger and larger opponents early on to little success. Walker and Greer appeared to take joy in hurling their smaller opponents around the ring, forcing TakaGawa to tap into their natural agility and pure-wrestling abilities to keep up with Team Danger's power. Team Danger isolated Amagawa for a large portion of the match, using a slow offensive style to keep the high energy champions from fighting back too quickly. The two leaders of AVENIR could not be contained forever, resulting in TakaGawa firing back late in the match. The end of the battle saw both teams launch volley after volley of "death moves" on the other team. In this environment, no team is stronger than TakaGawa, as their high energy style allowed Takahashi to launch volleys of White Flash's and Clutching Knees to weaking Tyrone Walker enough for Amagawa to drop Walker on his head with the Burning Cataclysm for the three count, and TakaGawa's third defense of the tag titles!

After the battle, Team Danger claimed that the referee had been "biased" throughout the match, but claimed that they would return to seek revenge for this "embarrassing loss". An emotional Amagawa claimed that this was the "peak" of his abilities, and tomorrow night he would become a two crown champion as C-1 Heavyweight and C-1 Tag Team Champion!
