Rumors have swirled around Japan about Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON after the promotion went into full shut down mode last month. COMPLETIONxDESTINATION was canceled without explanation, and all tickets purchased were refunded to the purchasers. No press release or information ever leaked from the CRIMSON offices in Iwate.
Minutes ago, an emergency press conference was held at the offices of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON by owner Kazushi Mimura. The press were forced to wait thirty minutes beyond the scheduled start time as Mimura appeared to be running late...Mimura eventually arrived appearing to have just woken up from slumber and was noticeably slurring his words. Mimura apologized, but admitted that he had "fun" the night before in Tokyo...
Mimura wasted no time, announcing the IMMEDIATE CLOSURE OF PRO-WRESTLING CRIMSON! The Iwate press were outraged but Mimura coldly ignored their protests. Mimura reminded the press that he had purchased CRIMSON years ago, and for all those years had funded CRIMSON out of his own pocket as first Shirai and then later Nomura "failed" to properly run the company to ever turn a profit. Mimura brought up his announcement in 2008 regarding being "burned out" from running CRIMSON. Now, Mimura added; he is simply BORED of running CRIMSON! Mimura revealed that it had been him that arranged to “let go” all the old Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON stars to create the “next generation” and even had been the one that suggested Tatsumichi Akamatsu to invading. Why? To “make CRIMSON more interesting” to him... What was once a snap purchase all those years ago had simply become a burden for Mimura both mentally and financially. Mimura also revealed that after he made his decision, he and several friends (but explicitly not Yuki Nomura due to hatred) had went out on the town all night in Tokyo before Mimura had returned for the press conference. As Mimura stated; “It's my money again!”
When asked about COMPLETIONxDESTINATION, Mimura coldly stated that he hadn't "felt" like arranging the show and had "lost interest" in preparing it, and thus had simply canceled it and refunded the money rather than be bothered with it.
The topic of ATTACK GIRLS was broached. Mimura stated that he had transferred all control over to Ryo Suzuki and even had given him enough money to fund the promotion for years. On why he did this, Mimura revealed that watching women's wrestling "excited" him. In particular Yuki Nomura's daughter Chihiro...
Mimura announced that all Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON talent, officials, and management had been fired earlier in the day by letter and that he didn't care where they went or what any of them did.
Mimura's final words were "I'm moving back to Tokyo! Farewell worthless Iwate!"
