[Late CRIMSON] BLAST2 in HOKKAIDO ~ 2/01/10 @ Zepp Sapporo

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON returned to Hokkaido for the second year running for BLAST2 in HOKKAIDO. A reasonable audience of 1,143 greeted CRIMSON. In the opening match, C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Ikuji Royama put down a spirited if futile fight from Shuji Kawashima, submitting Kawashima with an STF.

Former KYOURUI 6 Akira "BIG BOY" Tomizaki faced off against a former ally in Ryoma Inoue. Tomizaki fought for revenge, and gave a strong fight against Inoue. However, Inoue proved to be one level too high for Tomizaki to best, as he spiked Tomizaki with the SexyStar for the three count. Inoue further taunted Tomizaki by telling Tomizaki that KYOURUI 6 was better without the "dead weight" Tomizaki represented...

Speaking of KYOURUI 6, "Black Brilliance" Hiroyuki Takano and the "Runaway Marauder" Mikio Tsuruya teamed with fellow KYOURUI 6 member Keoni Murata alongside freelancer Makoto Saito against their AVENIR enemies. TakaGawa vs. VANGUARD took center stage as the 2010 FUSION League winners went toe to toe with the C-1 Tag Team Champions throughout the match. Despite this, the focus shifted to the PWC Jr. Tag Team Champions as Keoni Murata spiked Hiroshi Kuroki with a Backdrop Hold for the three count. KYOURUI 6 mocked AVENIR post-match with Murata once again promising to take the PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championships. Kuroki angrily demanded that Murata and PHOENIX or Inoue challenge for the championships as soon as possible, but Murata tauntingly replied saying that he had never said PHOENIX or Inoue would be his partner...

HEAVY WAR and the STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY collided. The full HEAVY WAR squad faced off against a star studded STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY roster of Tenshin Komatsu, Takayuki Ariwa, Toshiro Noguchi & Kazuya Endo. HEAVY WAR took Endo to task throughout the match, seemingly intent to "test" the young submission fighter. The highlight of the match saw a three minute confrontation between Takayuki Ariwa and Akuma Toyota take center stage. The two power behemoths beat away on each other with vicious chops and blows before being split apart with neither man emerging victorious. Naoki Daishi's foray into the Heavyweight Ranks continued with the fall in the match, as he spiked Endo with the Northern Lights Bomb for the three count...After the match HEAVY WAR once again propositioned Endo to join their ranks. This time Naoki Daishi claimed that he would help Endo reach his potential under his tutelage...This raised the ire of Toshiro Noguchi who brought up Daishi's past at "teaching", demanding to know where Sojiro Sayuki had run off to! Noguchi instead offered Endo a spot under HIS wing like Takano and Ariwa had in the past. Endo appeared conflicted and instead of answering, left the ring holding his head in confusion...

The semi final saw four of the top junior-heavyweights in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON face off for the right to face Ikuji Royama for the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship. Hayato Saigo, Millennium S.K, Akahito Yamada & PHOENIX all battled for the right. With three STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY members and one KYOURUI 6, Hayato Saigo attempted to negotiate a three on one fight in their favor for once, only to have Akahito Yamada cheap shot Saigo while PHOENIX tore into S.K... Akahito Yamada would be the first fall, as Yamada was caught off guard around the nine minute match by Hayato Saigo and a lightning fast Matsukasa cradle! Yamada kicked for all he was worth, but couldn't get his shoulders off the mat in time! Yamada reached his feet with a look of fury. Saigo told Yamada it wasn't personal, only to be cut off as Yamada PUNTED Saigo directly in the groin! The Hokkaido audience jeered, as Yamada fled ringside refusing to speak to STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY members at ringside. With Saigo wounded, he was easy prey as PHOENIX spiked Saigo with the Resurrection for the easy elimination, leaving two men in the match! PHOENIX and Millennium S.K. went back and forth for six minutes with both men throwing their biggest moves. In the end, the storybook return of Millennium S.K. reached it's zenith, as he crashed into PHOENIX with the Kamachi BIG BANG for the three count, and S.K.'s first C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship match since June 2007! To a heroes ovation, S.K. took a microphone but had to wait for the cheers to die down to speak. S.K. stated that throughout his recovery last year, he had been dreaming of returning back to the top and reigning as champion for the first time since 2005. S.K. pointed his fingers at Ikuji Royama who had watched the match at ringside like a gun, adding that he still owed Royama for crushing his dreams at GOLDEN CHANCE back in April. S.K. declared that in their championship match, he would "blast through Royama" to reach the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship. S.K. then sarcastically fired his handgun with a sarcastic "bang" noise effect before leaving the ring as only he can.

Keiji Hirano, in front of his home prefecture fans and family, was given the biggest opportunity of his career as he faced off against C-1 Heavyweight Champion Nobuyori Shimizu in a non-title match. Shimizu enjoyed the rare size advantage, and used it to give off the aura of a champion as Hirano struggled to fight back against the heavy blows of a champion. Hirano never faltered, and remained in the fight far longer then he probably should have. Hirano nearly scored an upset with both the Hirano Rocket, and a Double Arm Trap German Suplex, but Shimizu survived both of Hirano's top moves. Hirano did well at this point, surviving many blows and moves from Shimizu, but the Tsuyosa German Suplex proved to be too much for Hirano, as Shimizu spiked him on his shoulders for the three count. Shimizu led the audience in applause for Hirano, evidently heavily impressed by Hirano's performance. After Hirano left the ring, Shimizu took a microphone. Shimizu held the C-1 Heavyweight Championship and stated that he was eager to defend the championship after a month with no defense. With a laugh, Shimizu displayed the trademark humility that makes him a hero, as he admitted that if he doesn't defend the title, he doesn't feel that it's "real" to him, that he is the C-1 Heavyweight Champion. Shimizu revealed plans to defend the C-1 Heavyweight Championship this month against a worthy challenger. As if on cue, "God of War Arise" began to play, bringing out Akuma Toyota! The Hokkaido fans came alive, as the man who never lost the C-1 Heavyweight Championship came face to face with the man who currently holds the championship! Toyota ripped the microphone out of Shimizu's grasp, before launching into Shimizu with a tirade. Toyota claimed Shimizu was a "fake" champion, having never beaten him for the championship. Toyota also claimed that he had "elevated" the C-1 Heavyweight Championship by going all over Japan, holding the banner of strongest higher then it had ever been held before, and that Shimizu was "disgracing" the championship HE had powered up with his "weakness". Before Shimizu could retort, the two men were greeted by a third person who appeared from ringside, TAKAYUKI ARIWA! Ariwa stormed into the ring before SLAPPING Akuma Toyota across the face! Toyota dropped the microphone, stunned, which Ariwa picked up from the ground. Ariwa, in his harsh deep voice, announced that he was "sick" of listening to Toyota make claims of being "strongest". Ariwa angrily revealed that Toyota had only made two defenses against STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY members for his entire reign. He defended against Nobuyori Shimizu and barely defeated him when Shimizu suffered an injury, and then defeated Naoki Daishi who was still a junior heavyweight. Even against opposing groups, Toyota NEVER defended the C-1 Heavyweight Championship against Ariwa himself! Ariwa SHOVED Toyota, while screaming that Toyota had "no right" to claim the title of strongest in CRIMSON. Even without a microphone, Toyota screamed loud enough for the audience to hear him as he said that he "didn't listen to traitors". Ariwa turned to Shimizu and propositioned himself as the next challenger to Shimizu's C-1 Heavyweight Championship which earned Toyota's wrath across the ring. President Yuki Nomura popped up on the apron here, and questioned both men. When both demanded their shot at the championship back to Nomura, Nomura announced that they would have a "Title Eliminator" match between Akuma Toyota and Takayuki Ariwa! Nomura added that the winner would gain a guarenteed championship match at COMPLETIONxDESTINATION in March! Toyota stole the microphone from Ariwa. Toyota pointed at Ariwa and swore that he would "crush" Ariwa in less then ten minutes, before whirling on Shimizu and swore that he would "destroy the fake champion" at COMPLETIONxDESTINATION! This finally set off the powder keg known as Ariwa, as he LUNGED at Toyota, grabbed him by the back of the head, and began to THROW PUNCHES TO TOYOTA'S FACE! Toyota grabbed Ariwa and double legged him with both men throwing punches on the ground. HEAVY WAR and the STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY filtered into the ring with both sides separating their member from the other sides...
