[Late CRIMSON] 1/17/10 @ Hirosaki Citizen Gymnasium

The FUSION League for Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ended tonight at the Hirosaki Citizen Gymnasium with a surprisingly low attendance. In the opening match, AVENIR members Keiji Hirano and Hiroshi Kuroki bested Keoni Murata and PHOENIX of KYOURUI 6 when Kuroki pinned Murata with the PRISM. After the match, on behalf of his partner Kaisen Tiger, Hiroshi Kuroki accepted KYOURUI 6's challenge for the PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Championships...

BIG BOY Tomizaki only had one last chance to remain in KYOURUI 6 after a completely disasterous tour. Despite all his efforts with Ryoma Inoue, it just wasn't to be against Akahito Yamada and Hayato Saigo. After a spirited effort, Saigo spiked Tomizaki with a Brainbuster for the fall. Tomizaki's final failure brought out Hiroyuki Takano who stripped Tomizaki of his armband with the number six on it...After a crying Tomizaki fled the ring, Hayato Saigo appealed to Akahito Yamada inquiring what Yamada would do now that he was on his own. Without responding, Yamada left the ring and walked to the back.

The FUSION League entered it's fine stage with the MVP of the Wrestling World Akuma Toyota and Rui Kuriyama against the youngsters Kazuya Endo and Shuji Kawashima. The two brute members of HEAVY WAR held complete control throughout the match and Kuriyama threw a Kuri Lariat to finish off Kazuya Endo...Only to have the former pro-fighter duck under before BLASTING him with the Spiral Blow! When one did not fell Kuriyama, Endo threw a second before collapsing on top of Kuriyama for the huge upset victory! Akuma Toyota was impressed by Kazuya Endo, and offered the former pro fighter a spot in HEAVY WAR, but Endo refused to offer citing a need to "consider" the offer...

HEAVY WAR and the STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY collided in the second tournament bout of the night, as Masakazu Fujimoto and Naoki Daishi clashed against C-1 Heavyweight Champion Nobuyori Shimizu and Tenshin Komatsu. The two teams went back and forth, but surprisingly, the night would not be the SCA team's, as Fujimoto spiked Komatsu with the Mt. Fujimoto Bomb after two MONSTER RUSH tackles. Tenshin Komatsu took the blame for the tournament, claiming that he had failed to help Shimizu in their efforts, but promised his former rival that he would continue to gain his strength back after a year in the shadows. At the same time, Shimizu claimed that this was a "dangerous new world" for CRIMSON with the rise of KYOURUI 6 and HEAVY WAR, but that as the leader of the STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY, he would continue to be the C-1 Heavyweight Champion with pride!

The final tournament bout of the entire tournament saw the C-1 Tag Team Champions TakaGawa of Shinsuke Takahashi and Kenjiro Amagawa face off against KYOURUI 6's VANGUARD, "Black Brilliance" Hiroyuki Takano and "Runaway Marauder" Mikio Tsuruya. TakaGawa's excellent tag team abilities found themselves a match against KYOURUI 6's rough tactics. Shinsuke Takahashi was busted open around the fifteen minute mark after Tsuruya brained him with a vicious chair shot. Despite the wound, TakaGawa kept fighting back and looked to have the match won when Amagawa spiked Takano with a Backdrop Driver, only to have Tsuruya break up the pinfall. With just four minutes left, KYOURUI 6 changed tactics as they began to actively evade TakaGawa, outright fleeing from the ring to escape them. The audience jeered these tactics, but KYOURUI 6's mission paid off, as they were rewarded with a time limit draw and the one point they needed! As if on cue, the second the time limit draw was announced, Keoni Murata, PHOENIX and Ryoma Inoue intruded into the ring and began to viciously beat TakaGawa with weapons! By the time the rest of AVENIR were able to hit the ring, the damage had been done as TakaGawa were left laying in the middle of the ring with the tournament final just minutes away...

In between the tournament matches, there was the small matter of the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship to be decided as C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Ikuji Royama faced off against one half of the PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Champions from AVENIR, Kaisen Tiger. Both men were evenly matched, as Kaisen Tiger rose to the occasion showing off a highly impressive striking game holding Royama at bay with kicks and palm strikes early on. The striking game is Royama's game, and eventually that came to the forefront, as Royama fought back with a furious strike series followed by the high kick! Tiger wisely rolled to the apron to avoid the ensuing pinfall attempt. Royama attempted to set Tiger up for some kind of move off the apron, only to have Tiger fight back before hitting a Tiger Driver off the apron and to the floor! Both men wiped out from the hellish manuever, but Royama kicked out at two after Kaisen Tiger recovered enough to attempt a pinfall in the ring. Kaisen Tiger poured on the offense with the Bullet Wrath and a Tiger Suplex, but Ikuji Royama survived both proving his strength. Tiger set up for the Tsuki Hikari, but Royama moved at the last second sending Kaisen Tiger crashing on his own face. With Kaisen Tiger stunned, Royama quickly fired off the high kick and covered, but Kaisen Tiger survived! The challenger was gravely wounded and had no counter for the FLARE UP into the Sliding Shotei! Royama's limit break was just enough to put the masked challenger down, giving Ikuji Royama his fifth defense of the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight championship! With this win, Royama became only the fourth man to ever hit five defenses of the championship. Hayato Saigo approached the ring and nominated himself as the next challenger to Royama's championship. Saigo's appeal was interrupted by PHOENIX who demanded that HE be the next challenger. In turn PHOENIX was interrupted by Akahito Yamada who pointed out the recent losses by Saigo and PHOENIX to Royama. Yamada's point was rendered mute as a fourth man appealed, MILLENNIUM S.K.! The recovered star claimed that he still owed Royama for their GOLDEN CHANCE 2DAY finals battle from April of last year! With the four squabbling, Ikuji Royama suggested a four way match to decide the next challenger, to which all four accepted...

No matches remained except the finals of the 2010 FUSION League, as C-1 Tag Team Champions TakaGawa rematched against KYOURUI 6's VANGUARD from earlier in the night! TakaGawa came out with their upper bodies wrapped in tape from the beating from KYOURUI 6, with Takahashi's head covered to keep the bleeding from beginning. TakaGawa had no chance to reach the ring as Takano and Tsuruya attacked TakaGawa from behind! A joint piledriver took Kenjiro Amagawa out of the match leaving Takahashi along against Takano and Tsuruya as the match formally began. Despite the odds, and heavily bleeding, the wrestling genius of Shinsuke Takahashi would not go down easily, as he fought back almost immediately. Takahashi threw a flurry of Clutching Knees and White Flashes in a desperate attempt to take down both Takano and Tsuruya at the same time. But right when Takahashi appeared to have a chance, Ryoma Inoue tripped Takahashi from behind sending him right into a Tsuruya lariat! AVENIR failed to take this lying down, as a riot at ringside was triggered! With referee Hanzo Hijiyama distracted, Kenjiro Amagawa came back alive carrying a chair! With the audience rolling, Amagawa took aim and BLASTED Takano and Tsuruya with the chair in return of their actions earlier in the night! Amagawa aimed to finish off KYOURUI 6's VANGUARD when suddenly a man in a black sweatsuit and hoodie hit the ring and attacked Amagawa from behind! After clubbing Amagawa, he suddenly hooked Amagawa and dropped him DIRECTLY on his head with a Straight Jacket Suplex! The crowd buzzed as the hooded man fled the ring. Mikio Tsuruya picked up the wounded Amagawa and SPIKED Amagawa with the Murder Carnival, to completely take Amagawa out of the fight! Takahashi attempted to follow up on the success Amagawa had had but was met with the Akuji Backdrop Driver from Tsuruya! Takano rolled Takahashi right into a picture perfect German Suplex Hold...but Takahashi kicked out! Takahashi fought to get to his feet as the audience cheered, but Takano quieted that by hitting Takahashi with his limit break, the Kubikari Driller, covering with one foot on Takahashi's chest for the three count!

KYOURUI 6's VANGUARD were awarded the tournament trophy as the audience jeered. This is the second year running that Hiroyuki Takano has won the FUSION League, a fact that KYOURUI 6's #1 had no problems reminding us of. Takano promised that just like how he had with the "worthless partner" Takayuki Ariwa, that this would lead to a C-1 Tag Team Championship reign and called out to President Yuki Nomura to give them their rightful championship match against his "boys" soon...
