The second to last FUSION LEAGUE tournament show saw a respectable crowd gather at the Isuzu Motors Yamato Gymnasium. In the opening match, Akahito Yamada bested Hiroshi Kuroki. Fresh off being abandoned by Naoki Daishi, Yamada wrestled a far more vicious style than usual, including punting Kuroki in the face multiple times. To finish off Kuroki, Yamada slapped Kuroki in a modified Guillotine Choke hold for the submission.
The second battle saw KYOURUI 6 face off against AVENIR as Keoni Murata and PHOENIX continued their run of a good success as a team, as they bested Kaisen Tiger and Keiji Hirano. Murata scored the victory over Hirano with the Great Wave Bodypress. After the match, Murata once again reiterated his challenge to PREDATORS for the PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Championships...
BIG BOY Tomizaki's KYOURUI 6 career appears to be on the inevitable track towards destruction, as Tomizaki once again dropped the fall. Hayato Saigo and Ikuji Royama bested Ryoma Inoue and Tomizaki when Saigo spiked Tomizaki with a brainbuster for the pin. Takano confronted Tomizaki once again, and informed the battered young underdog that if he didn't win on the 17th that he would be replaced...
The FUSION League kicked into gear with Toshiro Noguchi and Takayuki Ariwa scoring much needed points over the spirited efforts of Kazuya Endo and Shuji Kawashima. The two young men put up a valiant fight, managing to survive for over twelve minutes against the high powered duo before Ariwa collapsed Kawashima's chest with the Angelos to propel the team to six points.
The newly formed HEAVY WAR faced off against KYOURUI 6's top two in a violent match. With no love lost by either side, the four men tore into each other. The personal fued between Takano and Toyota continued with exciting exchanges throughout the match. In the end, Rui Kuriyama finally achieved his chance to celebrate, as he BLASTED Mikio Tsuruya out of nowhere with a Jumping High Kick as Tsuruya charged him for the three count and two more points...
C-1 Heavyweight Champion Nobuyori Shimizu and his generation rival Tenshin Komatsu faced off against C-1 Tag Team Champions "TakaGawa" in the main event. For over twenty four minutes, the two teams went back and forth with both teams having a chance to shine against the other. What became obvious as the match wore on, was TakaGawa's experience as a team gave them a significant advantage, as the champions used double teams and slick maneuvers to control the bout. In the end, it would be the defining moment of a career, as Kenjiro Amagawa SPIKED Nobuyori Shimizu with his Burning Cataclysm for the three count, directly pinning the C-1 Heavyweight Champion! Amagawa and Takahashi were overjoyed at their victory as Shimizu & Komatsu were left wondering what had happened...The event finished with Kenjiro Amagawa CHALLENGING Nobuyori Shimizu to defend the C-1 Heavyweight Championship against him!

Hiroyuki Takano & Mikio Tsuruya [6]
Nobuyori Shimizu & Tenshin Komatsu [6]

With one event left, one team has been knocked out of the competition, Shuji Kawashima & Kazuya Endo. Still alive are Naoki Daishi and Masakazu Fujimoto and with no tournament matches left, the team of Toshiro Noguchi and Takayuki Ariwa would need a virtual miracle to advance. Their only hope is to create a playoff situation with other teams at six points. This would require Toyota & Kuriyama, Shimizu & Komatsu and Takano & Tsuruya all to lose in their final tournament bouts. A victory or Draw would propel TakaGawa to the finals, regardless of the outcome of the other matches.
