After two nights of the FUSION League, no teams have yet to pull out of the starting stages. The CRIMSON "Dream Team" of Nobuyori Shimizu and Tenshin Komatsu had their first tournament bout easily defeating Kawashima and Endo. In the second tournament bout, C-1 Tag Team Champions TakaGawa scored their first tournament victory over Fujimoto and Daishi when Takahashi blasted Daishi with the Clutching Knee for the fall. In the main event Ariwa and Noguchi also scored their first tournament victory over Akuma Toyota and Rui Kuriyama. Ariwa and Toyota had what is being described as "fearsome" exchanges throughout the match. Kuriyama would end up being the one to cost his team the victory as Ariwa's Splash Mountain sealed the victory. If looks could kill, the look Toyota shot Kuriyama post-match would have been the last thing Kuriyama ever saw in this life...
