[CRIMSON] 1/01/10 @ Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymasnium ~ RING IN CRIMSON 2010!

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON held the very first pro-wrestling event of 2010 at the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium. The event began at 12:15 in the morning with free admission. A festive atmosphere filled the half filled arena with fans both wanting to see their beloved Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON wrestlers but also ring in the New Year! President Yuki Nomura announced that the matches tonight would be decided by random draw! In the middle of his Yuki Nomura was interrupted by Rui Kuriyama. Kuriyama announced that he refused to take part in the random draw and instead demanded to face off against his FUSION League partner tonight! Nomura admitted he didn't know who Kuriyama would be teaming with telling Kuriyama that unless he told everyone who he partner was he (Nomura) would have no way to make the match! Kuriyama announced that his partner was AKUMA TOYOTA! This announcement brought an obviously angry Toyota to ringside. Toyota asked Kuriyama why he would team with Kuriyama using his hands to demonstrate the difference in their levels. The difference was large. Kuriyama claimed that his entire goal was to "power up" as fast as possible, and the only way to continue it would be to team with the "strongest" in Toyota! Toyota considered this, before saying that if Kuriyama could last ten minutes in a match between them that he would agree! Nomura polled the audience who were in agreement. As such, Nomura made the match for right then with both men in their casual attire!

At the sound of the bell, both Toyota and Kuriyama charged each other with lariats but only Kuriyama fell to Toyota's mighty blow! Toyota covered, but Kuriyama kicked out. Toyota went on the attack, methodically beating Kuriyama down. Kuriyama's stocky body allowed him to fire back occasionally, but Toyota continued to wear the crown of strongest, as he shrugged off Kuriyama's blows before crumbling Kuriyama with a few of his own. Hanzo Hijiyama pulled Toyota off during an assault. Toyota turned his back to Kuriyama giving the young power fighter his first chance as Kuriyama charged and BLASTED Toyota with a Kuri Lariat to the back of the head! Toyota fell out of the ring in a crash as Kuriyama used the opportunity to rest. This proved to be a woeful decision. Toyota rose from ringside with a look of vengeful fury etched on his features. Toyota climbed into the ring, walked through Kuriyama's blows before THROTTLING Kuriyama! Toyota then began to paintbrush Kuriyama with vicious slaps while throttling him. Toyota then whipped Kuriyama into the rope and DECAPITATED Kuriyama with a Lariat! Instead of covering, Toyota lifted Kuriyama and hit the Akuma Ichimonji! However, Kuriyama proved his leveled up status as he kicked out of Toyota's grasp! With one minute remaining, the audience in the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium rose alive, cheering Kuriyama's desperate struggle. Kuriyama pulled himself back up to his feet and charged Toyota with a lariat only to have Toyota barely stumble backwards. When Kuriyama attempted a second Kuri Lariat, Toyota answered with his own sending Kuriyama stumbling backwards. Thirty seconds were announced, as both men continued to clash together. Toyota loaded up for a wild Lariat, but Kuriyama ducked under and hit the opposite ropes. With five seconds left, Kuriyama ran at Toyota with a full head of steam and BLASTED Toyota with the Kuri Lariat sending Toyota down to the canvas! The bell rang to signal the end of the ten minutes causing Kuriyama to collapse backwards exhausted...Kuriyama was handed a microphone, and while on his back began to hysterically laugh. Kuriyama told Toyota that now he HAD to be his partner in the FUSION League! Toyota looked none too pleased, but left the ring without incident allowing Kuriyama to soak up his "victory".

The first random draw of the night pitted AVENIR against the STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY, as one half of the PWC Jr. Heavyweight Champions Kaisen Tiger took on Kazuya Endo. Endo gave Tiger some problems early on with his strike and submission based offense, but Kaisen Tiger took full control hitting the Bullet Wrath with a full cradle for the three count. Kaisen Tiger took a microphone after his victory, and in broken Japanese announced that he wanted a title match against Ikuji Royama!

The next match was also a singles match, and a highly intriguing one at that. C-1 Heavyweight Champion Nobuyori Shimizu found himself against one of his seniors from day one of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, Keoni Murata! Despite one being a heavyweight and the other being a junior-heavyweight, the two were decidedly evenly matched. Shimizu used his superior weight and power to land stronger blows, while the crafty veteran constantly evaded and used tricks to try and pin the champion. Shimizu once again blasted through a senior, as he spiked Murata with the Tsuyosa German Suplex for the three count.

Millennium S.K. and Hiroshi Kuroki joined forces in a battle they were over matched in, against Makoto Saito and C-2 Openweight Champion Hiroyuki Takano. Saito was heavily jeered for his actions at DUE TIME. Takano and Saito had issues throughout the match, as Takano attempted to boss the Deathmatch Prince around to which Saito at first ignored, but then began to argue over...This gave S.K. and Kuroki their chance, as S.K. caused Takano and Saito to collide on a double team. This was all it took, as Saito BLASTED Takano with the Kegaretate to the face! Takano stumbled backwards right into the PRISM from Kuroki for the flash upset three count!

A big eight man tag team match was next, as BIG BOY Tomizaki and Ryoma Inoue teamed with STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY members Akahito Yamada and Shuji Kawashima against PHOENIX, Kenjiro Amagawa, Takayuki Ariwa and Masakazu Fujimoto. Miscommunication and lack of teamwork was on full display as neither team got along very well at all. PHOENIX blew off his partners at every turn, while Amagawa and Fujimoto constantly argued. On the other side of the match, BIG BOY and Inoue spent most of the match sitting on the apron refusing to be tagged in...In the end, Kenjiro Amagawa continued his run of success as he caught Shuji Kawashima in the Figure-Four for the submission.

The prior matches disintegration of the teams had nothing on the sixth match of the night as Ikuji Royama, Mikio Tsuruya, and Shinsuke Takahashi never once came anywhere close to "gelling" as a team. To make matters worse they faced off against Keiji Hirano, Hayato Saigo, and Toshiro Noguchi who had little problems as a team...A few minutes into the bout, Royama and Tsuruya came to blows due to mutual dislike. Instead of breaking it up, Takahashi continued to attempt to wrestle for his team...He was rewarded by a MURDER CARNIVAL by his own partner Mikio Tsuruya! Tsuruya bashed Royama with a chair, and left the ring allowing his own team to lose as Saigo finished off the completely beaten Takahashi with a Moonsault Press. Takahashi was irate after the match, and promised "revenge" over Tsuruya...

The main event was what may very well have been a first ever encounter between two of the longest lasting men in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON. The redeemed Tenshin Komatsu with a bevy of tape and padding around his head which still harbored a significant cut faced off against Naoki Daishi. The two were very similar in terms of abilities with Daishi having a grappling advantage while Komatsu held a striking advantage. Komatsu appeared to not be on his best shape as a result of DUE TIME, allowing Daishi to take control of the match. After Daishi trapped Komatsu in a variety of dangerous and painful submission holds, Komatsu made his comeback with a series of Komatsu Knee Kicks. However, when Komatsu went for the Shikaeshi Daishi avoided it before locking Komatsu in a lightning flash La Magistral for the three count! Komatsu was disappointed, but in good faith admitted that he had a "long way to go" to reclaim the wrestler he was...It was Naoki Daishi who dropped the bombshell, as Daishi stated that at almost thirty five years old, it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to make the 100 kilograms cut off as a Junior-Heavyweight. Daishi, who is actually taller then some of heavyweights in CRIMSON, announced that he would be entering the FUSION League later this month as a HEAVYWEIGHT for the first time in his career!
