[CRIMSON] 10/13/09 ~ 7th Year Anniversary @ Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium

On October 13th 2002, Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON was formed. Originally under the moniker of Project:BETA, the promotion would evolve over the years into Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON. The main event of the night pitted Yuki Nomura, GORO, and Kensuke Kenashi of HANGUN against the team of YAKUTA, Ryo Suzuki and Ryo Kinichi. Seven years later the destiny of two best friends and the greatest tag team in CRIMSON history would collide to decide who would become the 12th C-1 Heavyweight Champion. For both men it would be the biggest match of their career.

Nobuyori Shimizu qualified for the finals of the C-1 Heavyweight Championship 1NIGHT tournament, first by defeating eternal rival Tenshin Komatsu in thirteen minutes with a knock out running elbow. A battered Shimizu would go into the semi finals to face off against his former protégé, and Yankizoku leader Takayuki Ariwa, who crushed Makoto Saito in the first round with the Splash Mountain. Once again, Shimizu was battered and bruised with Ariwa hurling Shimizu around the ring with his trademark power, but his courage and heart carried him through. Shimizu avoided the Splash Mountain at all costs, before Shimizu unleashed his Thunder-Fire Powerbomb, spiking Ariwa on his shoulders for the three count.

Shimizu's opponent could be considered the most unlikely of any on the field. Hiroyuki Takano and Toshiro Noguchi clashed in the opening round. Noguchi struggled with Takano's speed but found that he had an ally. Noguchi's trusted finisher, the Thunder Hammer proved to be the deciding move as Noguchi blasted Takano with six in a row to keep Takano down. In the semi finals, Toshiro Noguchi faced the "T-1 Heavyweight Champion" Mikio Tsuruya who received a bye in the first round. Tsuruya was over confident, however, and instead of finishing Noguchi off when he had the chance, allowed Noguchi to make a comeback and unleash the barrage of Thunder Hammers. However, it was Noguchi's sliding Thunder Hammer, the Tokkan that gained the knock out, setting up the finals.

The PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championships were decided, as FUSION J-LEAGUE winners and champions Hiroshi Kuroki and Kaisen Tiger defended against runner ups Naoki Daishi and Akahito Yamada. Daishi and Yamada kept their younger and more athletic opponents grounded for the majority of the match. In particular they singled out Kuroki's legs, attempting to force the young man to submit. PREDATORS displayed their championship courage as always, however, and refused to be put out so easily. In the end, the victory was Kaisen Tiger's, who blasted Naoki Daishi with two Bullet Wrath's leading to his Tsuki Hikari to seal the victory and PREDATOR's first defense of the PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Championships!

The title of "Strongest Junior" was on the line, along with the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship as C-1 Junior-Heavyweight champion Ikuji Royama aimed to make his first defense of the championship against the ace of CRIMSON's juniors, Hayato Saigo! The two faced off earlier in the year for the championship, with Saigo vanquishing Royama in February. The two went toe to toe against each other, holding nothing back at a breakneck pace for eighteen straight minutes. However, Saigo was unable to reclaim his spot on top, as Royama launched a volley with all his major moves, only to have Saigo kick out of the Sliding Shotei! The two battled with strikes, but a wild shot for Saigo left himself open allowing Royama to CRACK Saigo in the side of the head with a high kick, covering for the three count and the retention of the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship!

Nothing remained except for one match to decide the course of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's future. Two best friends, partners for six years would face off for the biggest prize in CRIMSON. Both have challenged and failed, but one of them would walk away as the top man in the promotion. Both shook hands after Yuki Nomura gave the title introduction, and Akuma Toyota displayed the championship for all to see. However, the friendship between the two warriors suddenly vanished as Toshiro Noguchi, overtaken by his desire to win, attacked Nobuyori Shimizu from behind before the bell could ring! The Miyako crowd exploded in jeers, as Noguchi chopped and kicked away at Shimizu. Shimizu caught completely off guard was ripe picking for Noguchi, who BLASTED Shimizu with the Thunder Hammer! Noguchi covered, but Shimizu kicked out before the three count! Noguchi straddled his best friend, and began to fire away with elbows to Shimizu's chin and chest area, only to have Shimizu suddenly screamed "NOGUCHI!", grabbed Noguchi by the head, and turn them over so that Shimizu was in Noguchi's guard before BLASTING Noguchi with vicious elbows and forearms, before standing and stomping Noguchi directly in the face! Noguchi rolled to the floor clutching his face, while Shimizu collapsed in a corner to regroup. Noguchi, still clutching his face climbed back into the ring at the count of fifteen, and approached a wary Shimizu. Noguchi extended his hand, asking for Shimizu's apology for his actions. Shimizu looked somewhat dubiously at Noguchi before accepting Noguchi's hand...Only to have Noguchi yank Shimizu in and go for a Backdrop! Shimizu floated over behind Noguchi, pushed him forward and gave Noguchi a release German Suplex! Noguchi rolled through the move, and caught the charging Shimizu with the Thunder Hammer before both collapsed to the mat! Both men struggled to their feet, but reached their feet at roughly the same time. Once again Noguchi extended his hand, this time profusely apologizing for his actions. Noguchi's display did nothing for Shimizu, who responded with a VICIOUS slap to Noguchi's face! Noguchi reeled from the blow, but then retaliated with his own slap! The two "best friends" began to slap each other back and forth with venom in their blows. After a period of time with the blows, both men collapsed to their backsides in exhaustion to applause from the Miyako crowd. Noguchi would take ovcr control of the match, catching a charging Shimizu seconds later with yet another Thunder Hammer, Noguchi continued to use the Thunder Hammer to effectively put Shimizu down every time he would start to make his comeback against him. Yet despite Noguchi's mastery of basic pro-wrestling, and his use of the Thunder Hammer, Noguchi lacked the one shot knock out to put Shimizu down. Instead, all Noguchi could seem to do was attempt to wear down Shimizu. Noguchi, seemingly having come to this realization himself attempted for his knock out blow, the Tokkan. Noguchi launched himself, but Shimizu suddenly rose back alive and laid back to avoid the move! Noguchi charged to his feet at Shimizu, but it was Shimizu who cut Noguchi off with a running elbow! The blow nearly knocked Noguchi out of his boots, but did not result in the three count for Nobuyori Shimizu. An exhausted Shimizu waited for Noguchi to stand back up, before launching a powerful volley of elbows, ending with a second running elbow but AGAIN Noguchi refused to be put out of the match and defiantly kicked out of the pinfall! With no other recourse left, Shimizu lifted Noguchi high into the air, placed him onto his shoulders, and DROVE Noguchi into the mat with all his desire and power with the Thunder Fire Powerbomb! Shimizu held onto Noguchi's legs in a fold over style pin...BUT NOGUCHI KICKED OUT AT 2.9! Shimizu fell to his knees, with a look of desperation on his face, before he reached out for the now almost corpse like body of Noguchi. Shimizu pulled Noguchi up by his hair, and armpits, desperate to get one final move in. Once there, Shimizu placed himself behind Noguchi, hooked him around the waist, and used his ORIGINAL finisher, the TSUYOSA GERMAN SUPLEX HOLD! Shimizu folded Noguchi in half, and even placed his feet on the very tips of their toes for full effect. The count felt like it took forever, but finally, the third hand hit the mat, giving the win AND the C-1 Heavyweight Championship to the man hailed as the "Heart" of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, NOBUYORI SHIMIZU!!

The loyal Miyako fans began leaping up and down in the crowd, with loud chants of Shimizu coming with every bit of sound the Miyako fans could generate. An exhausted Nobuyori Shimizu suddenly came alive, as Shimizu frantically pounded on the mat while screaming in joy. Yuki Nomura and the injured Akuma Toyota both held station during the title presentation for Nobuyori Shimizu. Yuki Nomura beamed like a proud father at Shimizu as Akuma Toyota strapped the C-1 Heavyweight Championship around his waist. For once, Akuma Toyota played the role of a perfect gentleman, and left the ring with no incident, allowing a near hysterical Nobuyori Shimizu to soak in his moment. A clearly injured Toshiro Noguchi approached Shimizu, and despite the brutal fight the two had just minutes ago, the two best friends embraced as more cheers rang out from the Miyako crowd, before Toshiro Noguchi too left the ring just for Nobuyori Shimizu. Yuki Nomura remained in the ring to interview Shimizu, starting off by calling this the "most important day in CRIMSON history" which evoked more cheers and more tears. At Nomura's question over the men he defeated, Shimizu praised all three. Shimizu described Komatsu as his "eternal rival", Ariwa as his "misguided kouhai" and Noguchi as his "best friend", but that all had nearly defeated him, and it was only through his will alone that he had beaten them. Shimizu took the microphone from Nomura, and began to thank everyone he could think of. Shimizu thanked Yuki Nomura, and all the prior C-1 Heavyweight Champions. He thanked Ryo Suzuki for training him, Noguchi for being his friend, Komatsu for being his rival, and then began to enthusiastically point at the fans in the crowd thanking each and every one of them for their unending support. As Shimizu ranted, Nomura quietly vacated the ring, leaving the new champion all on his own. Shimizu with the tears returning, called this the greatest day of his life, and the day he had been dreaming of since he debuted in CRIMSON seven years ago. Shimizu vowed that he would be the champion that he'd always dreamed of, and would attempt to fulfill all the dreams and hopes that the CRIMSON fans had laid upon him for seven years.

Nobuyori Shimizu, the new C-1 Heavyweight Champion lead the fans in calls of "HEY", and arm pumps in tune with his theme to end the show, united as one with the CRIMSON fan base in their jubilation.
