After twelve days of silence, Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON announced the next step in the promotion's whirlwind 2009. In front of reporters, Yuki Nomura announced the dates and schedules for August alongside C-1 Heavyweight Champion Akuma Toyota and his next challenger...Junior stalwart Naoki Daishi! Both men appeared in suits, posing for pictures. President Yuki Nomura announced that Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON would make it's first foray into Kanagawa, specifically in Yokohama with the main event of Naoki Daishi making his first ever challenge for the C-1 Heavyweight Championship.
The RISE UP tour will be the first tour Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON has embarked on since the beginning of the "Weekend Rhapsody" concept. The tour begins on the 14th in Yokohama, and concludes on the 31st in Tokyo. The tour will be almost immediately followed up by the FUSION J-LEAGUE tour which will go from September 2nd to the 27th. However, Nomura was tight lipped regarding the tournament, other then confirming that it would be returning after a hiatus last year.
Akuma Toyota and Naoki Daishi both gave comments regarding their C-1 Heavyweight Championship bout. Daishi praised Akuma Toyota as "invincible", saying that he had no chance of beating Toyota with brute power. However, Daishi once again stated his mantra that technique can defeat power, and said that in front of his home fans in Yokohama, he would become the first Junior to ever reach the C-1 Heavyweight Championship! Toyota was significantly less kind about his choice of words. Toyota praised Daishi's abilities against juniors, but openly questioned Daishi's intelligence to try and face him in a singles match, adding that he would embarrass Daishi in front of his hometown fans. Toyota's comments struck a nerve with Daishi, as Daishi announced that if Toyota did not submit to one of Daishi's painful submission holds, Daishi would hold nothing back in breaking Toyota's limbs if he had to! Toyota's response was to hold up one his fists to Daishi's face, then added that he would "crush" Daishi's aspirations with one fist! Before anything developed further, Nomura intervened and seperated the two. Toyota immediately stalked off, apparently having had enough of the meeting...
On top of the C-1 Heavyweight Championship match, the PWC Jr. Tag Team Championships will also be decided, as Pro-Wrestling FURY's team "OSAKA WILD STYLE" consisting of RYUJI and Manabe Tsuji from UPRISER'z will defend against Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's "PREDATORS" team of Hiroshi Kuroki & Kaisen Tiger. This will be PREDATORS second attempt at the PWC Jr. Tag Team Championships, after failing back in April against the DREAM HEROES team of Jet Jaguar from FURY and GALLEON from Nansei. RYUJI and Tsuji, evil wrestlers to the core, will aim at ruining the dream of PREDATORS to return the PWC Jr. Tag Team Championships to CRIMSON a second time.
