[CRIMSON] Power Source Night 4 ~ 5/08/09 @ Sendai City Gymnasium #2

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON returned to Miyagi for the fourth night of the 2009 Power Source tournament. The opening match of the night saw Akahito Yamada team with the AVENIR team of Hiroshi Kuroki and Sojiro Sayuki to victory over the Yankizoku team of C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion Keoni Murata, BIG BOY Tomizaki, and Ichiyo Tatsuko, with Yamada planting Tatsuko on his head with the Straight Jacket Suplex hold for the fall. Yamada reiterated his challenge to Keoni Murata for the C-1 Jr. championship, but Murata balked at setting a date, leaving Yamada hanging. The second match saw C-1 Heavyweight Champion Akuma Toyota team with Ikuji Royama to take on the man he'll face at the Kyocera Dome, Tenshin Komatsu and the Yankizoku "spokesperson" Ryoma Inoue. The overwhelming power of Toyota and Royama led them to victory as Royama blasted Inoue with the Sliding Shotei for the three count. Komatsu once again insisted that on 5/31 it would be a different story, but the powerful Toyota ignored Komatsu, calling him a "yipping dog with no bite" before leaving.

Due to the forfeiting of Millennium S.K., the first tournament match of the night pitted LOVE's Shino Hiriyama against Kazuki Takagi. Takagi attempted to use his power on the much smaller Hiriyama, but never seemed to pose much of a threat whatsoever, leading to Hiriyama taking firm control. Hiriyama seemed to have Takagi beat, but instead opted to humiliate Takagi, applying a Torture Crab Hold, making sure to stomp Takagi in the head before applying it fully forcing Takagi to give up the battle and give Hiriyama two points.

AVENIR and the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS clashed in the second tournament match of the night, as AVENIR's number two Shinsuke Takahashi took on the number two of the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS Rui Kuriyama. Kuriyama came out swinging; trying to take Takahashi out of the fight early with huge bombs, but Takahashi displayed his "wrestling genius" by catching Kuriyama by surprise. Takahashi rolled through a release German right into nailing a rising Kuriyama with the White Flash. From there it was all Takahashi, as he finished Kuriyama off with a flurry of White Flashes, including one to the back of the head, finally pinning Kuriyama for the two points.

Power faced off against technique as the C-2 Openweight Champion Masakazu Fujimoto took on the inaugural C-2 Openweight Champion Naoki Daishi in the semi final. The size difference was enormous, as Fujimoto hurled around Daishi with ease for most of the match, but every time Fujimoto would attempt to go for a killing blow, Daishi would use his brilliant tactical abilities to counter, and keep himself in the fight. As the match wore on, it became more and more evident that Daishi was employing a "rope-a-dope" strategy, attempting to tire out the much larger Fujimoto, and it seemed to work, as Fujimoto gasped for breath, Daishi poured on the assault. Daishi attempted a flying triangle on Fujimoto at one point, only to have Fujimoto attempted to powerbomb him off causing Daishi to hastily release for his own safety. Daishi's brilliant strategy was showing cracks, as he couldn't find a way to finish the exhausted Fujimoto, but Daishi pulled his trump card, a flying Jujigatame. Daishi managed to pull Fujimoto to his back, but as he struggled against Fujimoto's might, the bell rang to signal the thirty minute draw! The fans applauded both wrestlers, but neither seemed satisfied with the result.

The main event of the night pitted two former Pro-Wrestling DYNAMITE wrestlers against each other, as STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY member Yoshiaki Matsuda took on LOVE's Kazuhiro Okamura in their rubber match having split two matches. The battle was of two wills, as Okamura used cleverness to counter Matsuda's fearsome attacks, but Matsuda was never fully put into a defensive situation from Okamura, and simply continued to attack. Shino Hiriyama made sure to interject in the match every so often on Okamura's behalf. However, after over fifteen minutes of action, Yoshiaki Matsuda and his singular goal of facing Akuma Toyota could not be denied, as he nailed not one but two Uranage's dropping Okamura vertically on his head for the three count fall!
