[CRIMSON] Power Source Night 2 ~ 5/02/09 @ Towada Citizen Gymnasium

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON made it's way to the Towada Citizen Gymnasium for the second night of the 2009 Power Source tournament. Before the event began, Yuki Nomura made an announcement to the fans, and through cameras, to the nation. Nomura announced that Millennium S.K. had been rushed to a hospital following his tournament match on the 1st. Nomura stated that it was yet unknown what the problem was, but that it was feared to be a neck injury. Nomura revealed that for the rest of the tournament, S.K.'s matches will be forfeited, and the other three wrestlers yet to face S.K. are all being awarded two points.

Akahito Yamada made his case even clearer for a Jr. championship shot, as he led AVENIR members Hiroshi Kuroki and Sojiro Sayuki to victory over the Yankizoku team of Ryoma Inoue, BIG BOY Tomizaki, and Ichiyo Tatsuko with Yamada slamming Tatsuko on his head with a Straight Jacket Suplex Hold for the three count.

With their C-1 Heavyweight Championship match decided, Tenshin Komatsu desperately seeked a win over the invincible ace of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON Akuma Toyota. Komatsu teamed with C-1 Jr. champion Keoni Murata from Yankizoku, but even their combined skills could not help them against the SCA team of Toyota and Royama, with Toyota blasting Murata with a Lariat for the three count...Komatsu post match declared that he would find the way to "slay the beast" of Akuma Toyota, but Toyota dismissed the notion, telling Komatsu that he just wanted to get their match over with so he could bother with "real" contenders...

The Power Source matches themselves were some of the stronger matches match quality wise in the tournament. In the opening match, Yankizoku member Mikio Tsuruya took on the SCA rookie Shuji Kawashima. Tsuruya looked in great condition, evidently training hard for the tournament, and this led to him spiking Kawashima on his head with an Akuji Backdrop Driver for the three count.

C-2 Openweight Champion Masakazu Fujimoto looked to lead his success from the 1st into the tournament; however, he met a man on a mission in AVENIR's Shinsuke Takahashi. Fujimoto beat Takahashi half to death, but Takahashi would not stay down no matter what Fujimoto unleashed on him including the Mt. Fujimoto Bomb. When it all looked to be over for Takahashi, Takahashi displayed his "ace" like courage by fighting back using cunning and speed to damage Fujimoto's legs to set up the White Flash. One didn't do it. Fujimoto kicked out of a second. It took three White Flashes to put the massive man down, but in the end, AVENIR's Shinsuke Takahashi was rewarded with his first win of the tournament.

The night would not be kind to LOVE and by proxy ShinoMura. The tag team found themselves in the semi final and the main event of the tournament, as Kazuhiro Okamura took on Toshiro Noguchi while Shino Hiriyama took on Hiroyuki Takano. Okamura put up a strong fight against Noguchi, showing that he's never someone that can be easily ignored even against heavyweights, but Toshiro Noguchi displayed his own deceptive strength, and after a fifteen minute struggle, blasted Okamura with the Thunder Hammer for the three count. Hiriyama on the other hand found himself against the man who may be the greatest overall athlete in CRIMSON and current one half of the C-1 Tag Team Champions Hiroyuki Takano. Takano and Hiriyama had slick exchanges, both men being well versed in the other from their time in Pro-Wrestling DYNAMITE. However, Takano proved once and for all that his level as a singles wrestler is significantly higher then Hiriyama's, as in quick succession he hit Hiriyama with a Snap-Off Style Frankensteiner into a Takano Flash into a Takano Driver into Takano's beautiful Moonsault Press for the three count and the three count and the two points.
