[CRIMSON] 2009 Power Source Night 3 ~ 5/03/09 @ Kazuno Memorial Sports Center

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON and the Power Source tournament made it's third stop in a row, this time at the Kazuno Memorial Sports Center where a overfilled crowd greeted CRIMSON from the strength of the main event, one of the biggest singles matches in some time in a CRIMSON ring.

The opening match pitted SCA members Ikuji Royama and Akahito Yamada against each other in singles action. The two went right at each other from the opening bell holding nothing back despite being allies. However, after three minutes of intense action, the forces of Yankizoku suddenly hit the ring, causing a no contest as they assaulted both men! The attack was led by Keoni Murata, the C-1 Junior Heavyweight Champion. After the forces of SCA ran to the ring to save their allies, Keoni Murata took a ringside microphone, and announced that he didn't care if it was the "young punk" Royama who challenged him, or the "old man" Yamada. In the end, Murata said, that the power of Yankizoku made him invincable against all challengers! Yamada took offense with the "Old Man" comment post match, actually showing anger for once, as he screamed that he was only twenty nine, and it was Murata who was the old man...

Match two led in directly from the opener, as the Yankizoku team of Ryoma Inoue and Ichiyo Tatsuko teamed up with Tenshin Komatsu and the AVENIR team of Hiroshi Kuroki and Sojiro Sayuki. Tenshin Komatsu's inability to get one over on Toyota continued here, but in the end, Komatsu was able to avenge his honor somewhat, by nailing Hiroshi Kuroki with the Komatsu Knee Kick for the three count. Komatsu claimed post match that the victory tonight was a sample of what would take place at the Kyocera Dome on the 31st, but when Toyota challenged him to face off against, Komatsu declined earning jeers from the fans...

The Power Source tournament began for the third night with the third match of the night. AVENIR and the STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY clashed in Block B, as Kenjiro Amagawa took on the Jr. Ace Hayato Saigo. Amagawa, who is a fantastic technical wrestler, instead relied on his power throughout the match to counter Saigo's blinding speed and agility to mixed results. Saigo put on a clinic throughout the match, and even debuted new moves intended to be used on bigger wrestler. The biggest of Saigo's new moves being a cartwheel into a double stomp on a kneeling Amagawa that earned Saigo a near fall. For over sixteen minutes the two battled each other back and forth. Saigo looked to have Amagawa put away with a Brainbuster, but Amagawa avoided Saigo's Phoenix Splash, leading directly to Amagawa scooping Saigo up and slamming him on his head with the Amagawa Super Driver for the three count! The crowd rewarded both men with heavy applause, and the two exchanged a friendly handshake post match.

The second tournament match came from Block D, as a man looking to revenge his honor took on a man looking to avenge his career path. Both former members of the invading army, the BLACKHEARTS, as former Tag and C-2 Openweight Champion "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop took on Keiji Hirano. It was another strong effort from Hirano, who is still trying to desperately change the path his career has taken, but just like on night one, he was unfortunate to meet up with a man with a overwhelming strength. At one point, Hirano used a series of flips, rolls, and escapes to avoid Bishop. This caused the Texan to become enraged, as he screamed at Hirano to hold still. Eventually, Hirano accidentally backed himself into a corner, allowing Bishop to crush him with a corner Texan Bomber. From there, Hirano had no answer as Bishop shortly thereafter landed a second Texan Bomber to put down Hirano for the three count.

Power versus Speed. Brutality versus Technique. Block C saw the most dramatic difference in styles in the third tournament match of the night, and the semi final of the card. Yankizoku leader and currently one half of the C-1 Tag Team Champions Takayuki Ariwa took on the former C-1 Jr. Champion and former C-2 Openweight Champion Naoki Daishi. Ariwa used his usual tactics of bulldozing into his opponent, but Daishi was prepared for it, and continually frustrated Ariwa with counters and dodges. When Ariwa would get too angry, he would make a mistake and Daishi would knock him back down to side, usually with a close submission, although a few times he knocked Ariwa senseless with strikes. However, all Daishi's attacks and counters were doing, was making Ariwa angry and then angrier as the match continued. After the match passed the twenty minute mark, Ariwa went full out offensive, as he began to hurl Daishi around the ring with brutal force including a sickening release German Suplex that sent Daishi sailing 3/4th's of the way across the ring. However, Daishi would not be put away so easily as he kicked out at 2.9! Ariwa went to pick Daishi up, but Daishi suddenly grabbed Ariwa as he bent over with a Triangle, catching the power fighter off guard! Ariwa fell to his knees, but right when it looked like Daishi had the win, Ariwa suddenly climbed to his feet, lifted Daishi, and gave him a THUNDEROUS Powerbomb! Daishi went limp from the impact, but Ariwa wasn't satisfied. Ariwa lifted the deadweight of Daishi, hooked him, and CRUSHED Daishi with the Splash Mountain! Daishi was knocked completely out, giving Ariwa his first win of the tournament! Post-match, Ariwa announced that he was "Aiming at the top" of the hill, and no man or force would stop him from winning this tournament!

With the other five matches out of the way, there was only one tournament match left to be had. The crowd picked up dramatically for it, as one of the signboard players of Pro-Wrestling FURY took on one of the signboard players of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON in Block A. Tetsuhisa NAKAI faced off against Nobuyori Shimizu! NAKAI's declaration of intent and facing off against one of the most beloved CRIMSON wrestlers resulted in NAKAI being a detested figure at the Kazuno Memorial Sports Center this night. However, NAKAI seemed to not care in the least as he squared off against Shimizu, who he dwarfed in mass. At the bell, NAKAI swarmed Shimizu, displaying his fearsome attacking abilities. Shimizu immediately played defense, as NAKAI blistered him with chops but Shimizu displayed the heart he's become known for as Shimizu refused to fall from NAKAI's attacks. Dramatically, Shimizu dropped to his knees, but would continually rise back to his feet to NAKAI's immense frustration. When Shimizu would throw a return elbow, NAKAI would cut him off immediately with more brutality. Finally, after several minutes of this, NAKAI finally floored Shimizu with a lariat, before immediately attempting the Koukai Vice only to have Shimizu immediately make the ropes. A frustrated NAKAI kicked Shimizu out of the ring, before following him out. With the fans looking on, and his chest already beat red, Shimizu fought back against NAKAI only to be cut off with a strong knee lift, then sent hurling into the ring post! Shimizu's face cracked the post and he went down in a heap. NAKAI followed Shimizu and gave him several strong blows to the head, before he was pulled off. When Shimizu reached his feet, his face was already pouring blood from his head, causing many fans to scream his name in concern. Gamely, Shimizu climbed back into the ring, but NAKAI immediately cut him off. The match continued this format, with NAKAI brutally beating Shimizu, but every time NAKAI went for a kill shot, Shimizu would somehow manage to avoid it and keep fighting to NAKAI's immense frustration. NAKAI finally landed a killing blow on Shimizu after a flurry of chops, lifting and dropping Shimizu with the Devil Eruption, only to have Shimizu kick out at two! NAKAI's face told the story, as Shimizu both now bleeding from the head and the chest began to dramatically pull himself up to his feet using the ropes. When Shimizu reached his feet, NAKAI BEHEADED Shimizu with a lariat! NAKAI covered, but Shimizu this time kicked out at one! NAKAI, seemingly tired of this, suddenly grabbed Shimizu and applied the Koukai Vice, with full intentions of making Shimizu give up! The fans in the Kazuno Memorial Sports Center roared with chants of Shimizu's name, as the original Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON graduate struggled in the hold, before finally managing to get his foot on the bottom rope and save himself! NAKAI lifted Shimizu, intending for another Devil Eruption, or worse, but Shimizu slid down behind NAKAI and with all his force turned NAKAI over into a backslide! The crowd counted along, but NAKAI kicked out at two! NAKAI bounded to his feet and charged Shimizu with a Lariat, but Shimizu ducked under, grabbed NAKAI, and dumped him on his head with the Tsuyosa German Suplex Hold! The crowd once again counted along, but again NAKAI kicked out at two! The two reached their feet at roughly the same time and engaged in a horrific striking battle. Shimizu attacked with elbows, but NAKAI answered with chops that seemed to get worse with every strike. NAKAI finally screamed at Shimizu to fall, before loading up a Lariat. The Lariat caught Shimizu in the throat, but Shimizu refused to fall again! Shimizu screamed in defiance before taking a two step launch with a dull thudding elbow to NAKAI's face! The blow seemed to stun NAKAI allowing Shimizu to kick NAKAI in the stomach, and SOMEHOW hoist NAKAI up onto his shoulders! Shimizu took tentative shaky steps before SPIKING NAKAI on his neck with the Thunder Fire Powerbomb! The crowd came alive with counts as Shimizu held on for everything he could, but NAKAI kicked out at 2.9! The crowd roared as Shimizu rolled to his back, and began to pound on the mat in frustration. The announcer came on over the PA system, announcing one minute left in the match...The crowd chanted Shimizu's name, as he rose to his feet and began to pump his arm in the air as he waited for NAKAI to reach his feet...Shimizu swung his arm in preparation, and as soon as NAKAI reached his feet, Shimizu charged him with a Elbow strike! However, NAKAI CAUGHT the elbow, hooked Shimizu and SLAMMED him back to the mat in the Koukai Vice in the middle of the ring! Near deafening chants of Shimizu's name rang out from the crowd, as Shimizu began thrashing in every direction he could with his limbs, causing Shimizu and NAKAI to both do a spin in the ring, but no traction was made towards the ropes. Less then thirty seconds was announced, as Shimizu began to visibly weaken in the hold, allowing NAKAI to pull back on Shimizu with everything he had. The intensity of the chants grew as the referee began to check on Shimizu's condition...the referee began to make the decision to end the match for Shimizu's safety when the bell rang signaling the end of time for the match! There was confusion in the crowd, with much of the audience believing that the referee had stopped the match...However, much to NAKAI's frustration, over the PA it was announced that the match was a time limit draw! The initial crowd reaction was disappointment, but it slowly gave away to cheers and clapping from the fans for the excellent match they had witnessed. The referee checked on Shimizu while NAKAI stood in the corner heavily frustrated by the result.

After the applause fell from the fans at the Kazuno Memorial Sports Center for the two men's efforts, Tetsuhisa NAKAI took a ringside microphone. NAKAI praised Shimizu's skill set and his heart, calling it a good contest. NAKAI even went as far as to invite Shimizu to Pro-Wrestling FURY so they could meet again. NAKAI dropped his microphone and was set to leave the ring, when a heavy breathing and bloody Shimizu picked up the microphone...Shimizu gasped in the air, as he struggled for the words after being nearly choked unconscious. Shimizu crawled to his feet, wanting to talk to NAKAI on even ground, but once on his feet he nearly collapsed and used the ropes to hold himself up. Many fans in the crowd called out Shimizu's name, until he cut them off by choking out his words...Shimizu looked at NAKAI, and with his eyes locked with NAKAI's, Shimizu passionately said that he would *NEVER* again allow the C-1 Heavyweight Championship to fall back into foreign hands! Shimizu, with his eyes closed and hunched over, screamed with all his heart that he would rather die in the ring then see NAKAI win the tournament and the championship! Many of the loyal CRIMSON fans launched into chants of Shimizu's name as he collapsed back to his knees, however NAKAI was not amused. NAKAI's face went cold with a look of anger, but the FURY wrestler turned and left the ring leaving a injured Shimizu in the ring alone...
