On the 23rd of January, three Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON wrestlers will travel to Hiroaki Nakata's produced Pro-Wrestling FURY brand, BREAK BLOW. President Yuki Nomura officially confirmed Pro-Wrestling FURY's announcement earlier today, releasing three statements from the three wrestlers who will be participating.
Akahito Yamada expressed some concern, saying that while he truly believes his overall wrestling skill is at a "higher level" then most, that the rules of BREAK BLOW give him pause, as he is neither a fantastic technical wrestler, nor a submission expert, and not even a fantastic striker. However, Yamada stressed that he's been training the very fundamental basics of pro-wrestling every day with Naoki Daishi, and aims to have a "wonderful" bout against Pro-Wrestling FURY's Junior Ace, Yoshihiro Shimoda!
Takayuki Ariwa said that while his main goal in January was capturing the C-1 Tag Team Championships, he hadn't forgotten about his foray into another "realm of pro-wrestling" on the 23rd. Ariwa remarked that everyone knows him for his power and intensity, but few remember that he was a stand out Amateur wrestler before going into pro-wrestling. Ariwa promised to show courage, strength, and tenacity along with the "terrifying reality of a true pro-wrestler" and the huge difference in power between himself and his opponent Ryuugo Nagashima, even going as far as to say that Ariwa would use Ryuugo's own Dragon Driver to defeat him!
Naoki Daishi stated that he was filled with excitement for BREAK BLOW, stating that he felt it as a "return to the beginning" after so long. Daishi praised Nakata's goal to "revive strong pro-wrestling" and that he personally couldn't wait to match wits and talent against one of Pro-Wrestling FURY's top stars. Daishi promised to leave "nothing to regret" in the ring, and use every ounce of his talent in pro-wrestling to get the victory!
