Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ~ 6/10/08 @ Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium

Power Summit Series tour kickoff at CRIMSON’s Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium saw Neo Generation Idealist’s top two, Nobuyori Shimizu and Toshiro Noguchi take on the young tag team of the Backdrop Brothers, consisting of Kenjiro Amagawa and Mikio Trusruya. The theme of the match was the Backdrop Brothers being controlled by the two time C-1 Tag Team Champions Toshiro Noguchi and Nobuyori Shimizu and their natural tag team abilities…However, a strike of good fortune turned the match around as Amagawa and Tsuruya hit what amounted to a Backdrop/Over the shoulder arm breaker on Shimizu, knocking him completely out of the match. Facing a two on one situation, Toshiro Noguchi fought bravely, but made a mistake as he attempted a flying Tokkan…The Backdrop Brothers pounced, eventually setting Noguchi up for their new destructive double team move, a double Avalanche Backdrop Suplex! Noguchi crashed to the mat, and Mikio Tsuruya covered, giving the young partners their first taste of tag team gold! The defeated former two time tag champions congratulated the young team, but their party was crashed as the BLACKHEARTS walked to the ring without “Supreme Commander” Tatsumichi Akamatsu in the lead…Toyota and Iijima took turns speaking as equals, with Toyota stating his intentions to become a double champion on this tour, while Iijima stated that he wanted to taste “team gold” for the first time in his CRIMSON career. Shimizu butted in, calling Iijima a “coward” with fury, which evoked a large response from the loyal CRIMSON fan base, however, the BLACKHEARTS left without any incident taking place, leaving with the Backdrop Brothers to celebrate their hard earned victory.

Seiji Ebisawa and Yuki Nomura’s issues only seem to get worse. They teamed in the semi final with the former “DRAGON” Takagi, Kazuki Takagi in a losing effort against Akuma Toyota, Goro Iijima, and “Texas Outlaw” Jake Bishop. Ebisawa and Nomura were never on the same page, with several double teams being messed up. Eventually they completely broke apart and began to attack each other, allowing Bishop to wipe them both out with a Texan Bomber…from that point on, Takagi was fighting a losing battle until Toyota put him away with a lariat. Ebisawa and Nomura engaged in a heated argument post match, with Ebisawa calling him a betrayer, which only caused Nomura to become more enraged…Finally, NGI had to hit the ring in force to bring some kind of order to the match…

Before the fourth match of the night, HANZO, MUSASHI Tomizaki, Royama the Brave & DRAGON Takagi all gathered in the ring, and announced the disillusion of HEROICS effective immediately…Despite their promise, HANZO stated that he felt they had all “regressed” in the group, and needed to forge their own identities without the group holding them back…The other members took it in stride, no tears shed, almost as if they had all known it was coming. HANZO then lead his team into battle against MILLENNIUM STARS, pinning Ichiyo Tatsuko with the Shobo.
