Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ~ POWER SOURCE FINALS ~ 5/24/08 @ Miyako City Gymnasium

The POWER SOURCE tournament culminated in front of a capacity crowd in Miyako with two of the strongest men in CRIMSON facing off. It would come down to the BLACKHEARTS captain Akuma Toyota and Seiji Ebisawa in the finals. Toyota narrowly had defeated Ariwa in the semi finals, while Ebisawa had finally cost Hirano a tournament match through his own trickery, as he countered Hirano’s low blow kick attempt. Hirano had used that same tactic to get by Izumo Yoritomo and Hiroyuki Takano in a playoff match earlier in the night. Hirano had blasted Yoritomo with a low blow, and cradled Takano who Yoritomo had tried to finish for the three count. Akuma Toyota and Seiji Ebisawa engaged in a heated one on one contest that saw fans rabidly support Ebisawa in his quest to be the first man to become a two time Power Source winner, as Toyota looked to end Ebisawa’s streak before he earned the opportunity to face his leader for the C-1 Heavyweight Championship. After a back and forth struggle, Toyota refused to stay down, but it was clear that he had nothing left after two grueling matches. His blows seemed to lack the power they had earlier in the night, while Ebisawa looked almost exactly the same like he hadn’t felt the earlier matches at all. Ebisawa planted Toyota with a Wrist Clutch Exploder suplex and was awarded with his second ever tournament crown! Emotion was clearly on display, as Yuki Nomura, Goro Iijima. Izumo Yoritomo and others hit the ring to celebrate with their victorious winner. Seiji Ebisawa showed rare emotion post match, calling it the hardest fought victory of his career, and would take back Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON’s top championship for all the fans who had come to support him…This comment caused a stir as “Supreme Commander” Tatsumichi Akamatsu appeared wearing a head bandage from his violent fight with Stephen Priest flanked by all his BLACKHEARTS and a recovering Akuma Toyota. The two sides engaged in a stand off, CRIMSON on one side, BLACKHEARTS on the other…Akamatsu took a microphone, and lauded Ebisawa for his success, and called him the “final pillar of strength” for Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON…but then said that there was no guarantee that he would MAKE it to a title challenge! As if on cue, the BLACKHEARTS rushed across the ring and a huge fray developed…When the dust cleared, Kuriyama, Bishop, NGI, Yoritomo, and Hirano had vanished leaving Akamatsu, Toyota, Nomura, Iijima, and Ebisawa in the ring…Toyota had Nomura on the ground, keeping him down against Nomura’s struggles…Akamatsu looked unworried as he faced off against Iijima and Ebisawa, as the crowd roared in approval…Akamatsu pointed and counted them, then held up two fingers on one hand and one finger on the other to signify the odds…However...he then switched hands, and held two on the other hand and one on the one that had previously held two…No one moved as confusion swept across the arena…UNTIL GORO IIJIMA SUDDENLY HIT SEIJI EBISAWA WITH THE KINAN HIGH KICK! Ebisawa COLLAPSED as a stunned silence emanated from the crowd…Iijima coldly looked down at Ebisawa as Nomura began to scream bloody murder, and yelled at Iijima demanding to know why he had done this, but Iijima gave him no answers…Izumo Yoritomo saw what had happened and began to lumber to the ring, but as he reached the ring, he was suddenly WHACKED from behind by DAISUKE YAMAZAKI and a chair! The massive sumo stumbled, but Rui Kuriyama appeared and wrapped achain around his neck and began to throttle him to keep him from interfering…Tatsumichi Akamatsu and Goro Iijima began to stare at each other, no love lost between the two…and then Goro Iijima…fell to his knees in front of Akamatsu. A roar of hatred exploded from the crowd as a microphone was thrown into the ring, and Iijima began to issue what amounted to a surrender…announcing that he would serve Akamatsu as a loyal “vassal” in his on going war in he was SPARED from Akamatsu’s attacks. Akamatsu’s cruel smile enveloped his face as he reached down and put his hand on Iijima’s head, accepting his hated enemy in his ranks to an absolutely enormous negative reaction! The BLACKHEARTS then slowly began to leave the ring area, with both Goro Iijima and Daisuke Yamazaki with them and Akamatsu proudly displaying his C-1 Heavyweight Championship…However, before they could get out of the ring area, heavy breathing hit the PA system, as Seiji Ebisawa had grabbed the microphone…Ebisawa attempted to speak, but couldn’t muster it…instead Ebisawa just held up four fingers, to signify that he had defeated every member of the BLACKHEARTS except one man…the Supreme Commander himself…to end the show.

Tatsumichi Akamatsu successfully retained the C-1 Heavyweight Championship over Stephen Priest in the semi final of the night in a violent match, but despite Priest’s pressure over the last few months, Akamatsu was never really in danger in the match…Priest attempted to drive a sharp object into Akamatsu’s head early on, but this had an inverse reaction then Priest had hoped for, as Akamatsu suddenly became incredibly angry and spent the rest of the match brutally beating Priest with weapons and his moveset…The finish came when Akamatsu took a chair, placed it in front of Priest face and then VIOLENTLY kicked it into Priest’s face with an incredible whack, knocking the gaijin fighter out cold immediately. After the match, Akamatsu coldly told Priest that he never wanted to see Priest again. Not in CRIMSON. Not in another promotion. Not in Japan. And not even in America if he chose to visit. He was “done” with him, he said.

Hayato Saigo and Naoki Daishi clashed over the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship in a match that was fast paced as neither man gave each other the slightest inch early on. However, the sprint pace favored Hayato Saigo, and the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Champion pulled ahead in the match, before spiking Daishi twice with Brainbusters for the three count victory to keep his championship, against the man who has been his biggest rival of late! Natsuo Sakoda confronted Saigo post match, and said that while he had failed in his first title challenge last year, he aimed to take the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship with his new CRASH-UP finisher…Saigo praised Sakoda’s finisher, but then suggested that he may invent his own move to counter the CRASH-UP…Daishi suggested he would change focus after this loss to Saigo, and would look into trying to bring the PWC Jr. Tag Championships back fulltime to CRIMSON after Pro-Wrestling FURY’s CHAOTICS had taken them from the MILLENNIUM STARS a short time ago.
