Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON ~ 8/16/07 ~ 2007 FUSION J-LEAGUE

- Heading into their C-1 Tag Team Championship challenge, the Backdrop Brothers of Kenjiro Amagawa and Mikio Tsuruya scored a direct victory over the champions in the second match, as Tsuruya spiked Makoto Saito on the back of his head for the pinfall victory! However, Saito took a microphone post-match, breaking his usual silence, and threatened that while they had scored a victory tonight, in two days, they wouldn’t be so lucky!

- Before the third match, Yuki Nomura and Goro Iijima had a microphone confrontation…Nomura demanded a rematch against Iijima after the trickery that Iijima used in their championship match…Iijima claimed to know nothing about the “trickery”, but added that he had NO intentions on defending the C-1 Heavyweight Championship anytime soon, infuriating both Nomura and Noguchi! The match itself between Nomura, Noguchi and Nomura’s apparent “protégé” Kuriyama against Iijima, Toyota, and Yamazaki was violent, with even the two young rookies getting into the hate. Nomura’s desire to win was evident as he spiked Yamazaki with the Shukuen for the victory. After the match, Toshiro Noguchi took the microphone and DEMANDED a C-1 Heavyweight Championship match, to the surprise of many, saying that by taking the C-1 Heavyweight Championship from Iijima, he would “cripple” Rouzeki-GUN! However, Iijima dismissed Noguchi’s demands and simply told him he was a “boy”, an obvious insult given their relative ages implying that Noguchi is nowhere near Iijima’s skills…

- The 2007 FUSION J-League continued with the first tournament match of the night as Pro-Wrestling HERO’s Minoru Nikaido and Wes Climer took on Superstar PRO’s Saru Ito and SAKA Ibuchi in a short, but eventful match. All four men showed fire, but it was HERO’s team that proved to be the strongest, as Nikaido was able to trap Ito in the Evangelion for the submission victory!

- The devious Kamikaze Barons faced FREEDOM’s top team of Shino Hiriyama and Kazuhiro Okamura in the second tournament match of the night…The Kamikaze Barons couldn’t get anything going against arguably the strongest team in the entire tournament, and looked to get a double ring out…However, they failed miserably, as Okamura was able to fight out of the Iron Claw on the floor, hit Takahashi in the face with a kick and then drop him with the KO Cutter on the floor! Because of the incredibly powerful move, the Kamikaze Baron couldn’t answer the count, resulting in a ring out against them!

- Pro-Wrestling FURY and Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON clashed as FURY’s OKINAWA SPEED STARS took on CRIMSON’s HEROICS as HANZO and MUSASHI looked for the first real points of their tournament…HANZO proved to be more then adequet to fight off the abilities of the OKINAWA SPEED STARS, matching them move for move, but it was again Tomizaki who was the weaklink as his inexperience was far too great…Shirai went for the Watermelon Seed, but Tomizaki moved at the last second, sending Shirai crashing into the mat! Tomizaki immediately capitalized, cradling Shirai for the flash three count victory! The OKINAWA SPEED STARS couldn’t believe it, while Tomizaki celebrated like he has just won a world championship!

- The 2007 FUSION J-LEAGUE has seen many things, but arguably one of the biggest is the “leveling up” of Akahito Yamada with the injury of Naoki Daishi. Daishi came to wrestle despite his ankle injury, but the combined power of Hayato Saigo and Keoni Murata was able to negate Daishi’s influence in the match, making almost the entire bout a handicapped match. However, despite this setback, Yamada showed his new form and refused to give up, and fought on bravely. Saigo set up Yamada for the Brainbuster with Murata’s assistance, when Daishi entered the ring and hooked Murata out of nowhere with a flying jujigatame! Saigo was stunned by this development, allowing Yamada to BLAST Saigo in the face with jumping high kick! Yamada then grabbed Saigo and dumped him with a German Suplex Hold…Only for Saigo to kick out! However, Yamada held on, rolled through the hold and then grabbed Saigo’s arms before dumping him on his head with the Straightjacket Suplex Hold! The fans counted along, as Yamada received the biggest victory of his Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON stay as he pinned Hayato Saigo in the 2007 FUSION J-LEAGUE!
