[ATTACK GIRLS} Full Catch Up (8/16/09 to 03/15/10)

ATTACK GIRLS' August series continued with a shot to Miyagi, traveling outside of Iwate for the first time. Disaster struck as lack of local promotion resulted in an abysmal audience. However, the A-GIRLS put on an entertaining show none the less. The masked duo of KURONEKO and Jaguar Dream disposed of fighter Kyoko Saito and Sadako Miura. Jaguar pinning the former volleyball player with the Jaguar Rising. DOUBLE FURY were given their first setback as a team when they ran into SUKEBAN's Masuno and Ichikawa with Masuno dropping AISUKA with the Deep Serpent Bomb for the pinfall. Minako Suzuki bested fellow ATTACK GIRLS seikigun members in the semi final, with Suzuki spiking the second-match in Nomura with the Fireball Bomb. In the main event, SUKEBAN exploded as Tomiko Inoue teamed with Seikigun member Yuuko Matsumoto to beat Fujita and Ito. Inoue used her rolling neckbreaker Rose Thorn to put Fujita-gumi member Ito down, gaining much needed momentum for the Tomiko/Fujita match later in the month!

Aimi Nakamura gained a victory in the opening match, using her new submission the "Norther Heel Hook" on Chihiro Nomura for the submission victory. Naga Masuno continued her reign of terror in the second match, as she spiked Yuuko Matsumoto with the Deep Serpent Bomb. DOUBLE FURY regained their winning ways in the semi final, as AISUKA and Kaoru Hamaguchi bested Minako Suzuki and Aya Tamura. Hamaguchi using her "Hamaguchi Roll" on Aya Tamura for the three count. They once again appealed for an ATTACK GIRLS tag team title to be instated. In the main event, SUKEBAN faced SUKEBAN as SUKEBAN leader Tomiko Inoue attempted to wrestle control of the PWC International Women's Championship from Miyabi Fujita. Fujita had other ideas, leading to her beating Inoue with the one-two punch of a Fujita Lariat and Fujita Axe Driver. Fujita announced her team with Haruka Ito as their own faction, FUJITA-GUMI. Naga Masuno appealed to be Fujita's next challenger but was ignored by Fujita...

January 2nd Update:

After two disastrous events and an ill fated "tour", ATTACK GIRLS entered a shutdown period that has lasted five months. However, not has been all lost, as news from Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's headquarters have revealed dates for three more ATTACK GIRLS events over the next three months, all originating from CRIMSON's stronghold of Miyako and the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium. Despite being a much bigger venue, CRIMSON has an agreement with the venue that allows CRIMSON to run the gymnasium at little cost. As a result, ATTACK GIRLS will not lose much from not doing well in the venue.

January 13th Update:

ATTACK GIRLS has been struck by their first instance of "runaway wrestler syndrome". Yuuko Matsumoto suffered an injury during training in November. While not severe, the injury has apparently been enough to chase the young girl away from the business. Matsumoto has vanished off all promotional materials, and from the ATTACK GIRLS subsection of Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's website.

In addition, Kyoko Saito has decided to focus on her fighting career over her wrestling career, as has been expected for months. She has been released from her ATTACK GIRLS contract. Best of luck to Kyoko-chan!

ATTACK GIRLS returned to action after five months drawing a small crowd at the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium. In the opening match school mates Satoko Fukazawa and Chihiro Nomura clashed. Fukazawa used her experience edge to outlast Nomura in a strong match. Haruka Ito with the help of a baton was able to take out Aimi Nakamura. Minako Suzuki and Aya Tamura continued their run as a strong tag team as they united to defeat Crusher Hayashi and KURONEKO. Miyabi Fujita in a special singles match had difficulty dealing with the sheer size of her opponent Sadako Miura. Timely intervention from Haruka Ito saved Fujita with a knee kick allowing Fujita to blast Miura with a Fujita Lariat for the fall. In the main event, FURY GIRLS fought SUKEBAN. Naga Masuno continued to make her path towards Miyabi Fujita as she spiked Jaguar Dream with the Deep Serpent Bomb.

Chihiro Nomura's quest to gain her first victory continued, as KURONEKO used a standing moonsault to put Yuki Nomura's eldest daughter away. Sadako Miura towered over her opponent Satoko Fukazawa and used her sheer size to gain the victory with a knee kick. FURY and ATTACK GIRLS clashed in the semi final, as the three FURY GIRLS were victorious. AISUKA pinned Hayashi with her Viento Clutch keeping the power lifter's shoulders down. February 15th Update:

ATTACK GIRLS have sanctioned their second set of titles, according to ATTACK GIRLS director Ryo Suzuki. The TWIN ATTACK championship will be contested in a one night seven team tournament on the 15th. Seven teams of two will face off with the right of being the first TWIN ATTACK at stake. The teams are:

Iwate Princess Powers - Satoko Fukazawa & Chihiro Nomura
SUKEBAN - Tomiko Inoue & Kong Ichiwara
Strength & Trouble - Crusher Hayashi & Haruka Ito
North+West All Stars - Aimi Nakamura & Sadako Miura
Fireball Bombers - Minako Suzuki & Aya Tamura
Masked Wonders - Jaguar Dream & KURONEKO
DOUBLE FURY - AISUKA & Kaoru Hamaguchi

Due to the structure of the tournament, and being the instigators of the TWIN ATTACK championship, DOUBLE FURY will gain an automatic bye in the first round.

In addition, Miyabi Fujita will aim for her V.2 of the PWC International Woman's Championship as she takes on Naga Masuno. Masuno may prove to be the biggest challenge (litterally and figuratively) for Miyabi in ATTACK GIRLS!

----

ATTACK GIRLS crowned the first TWIN ATTACK champions in front of one of the biggest crowds in recent history for the struggling brand. In the opening match the Iwate Princess Powers faced off against SUKEBAN. Fukazawa and Nomura appeared to be out of the match when Nomura countered Inoue's Rose Thorn into her father's Shukuen! Fukazawa followed with a diving guillotine drop for the flash victory. Haruka Ito and Crusher Hayashi could never gel as a team. Ito abandoned her partner, allowing Aimi Nakamura to lock Hayashi in the Northern Heel Hook for submission. The Fireball Bombers easily dispatched the Masked Wonders, with Tamura spiking KURONEKO with the Zero Bomb to advance. The semi finals started with the Iwate Princess Powers facing off against DOUBLE FURY. Fukazawa and Nomura, despite already wrestling put up a strong showing for themselves. Hamaguchi scored the victory by dropping Nomura with the Hamaguchi Roll to advance in the tournament. The second semi final saw Aimi Nakamura and Sadako Miura put up another spirited affair for themselves against the Fireball Bombers. It wasn't enough, as Suzuki scored the victory for her team over Nakamura with the Fireball Bomb. The PWC International Women's Championship saw Miyabi Fujita further cement herself as the stand out star of ATTACK GIRLS. The massive Naga Masuno attacked her strongly, but Fujita weathered the storm and ended up putting Masuno out to pasture with two Fujita Lariats. Fujita openly questioned if she was "too much" for this small promotion to handle...DOUBLE FURY and the Fireball Bombers met in an exciting tag sprint from the opening bell to claim the first TWIN ATTACK gold. Suzuki and Tamura appeared to have the upper hand early, but the exhaustion from an extra match caught up with the Fireball Bombers as the match wore on, allowing DOUBLE FURY to make a resurgence. That proved to be all DOUBLE FURY needed, as they debuted a new team finisher, the "Punk Rock Roll". Hamaguchi lifted the opponent for the Hamaguchi Roll as AISUKA came off the top with a front dropkick sending Tamura careening to the mat in a heap! With that, DOUBLE FURY scored the victory and their first tournament and championships of their young careers!

Profile:
Being the daughter of Kazuma Fujita, much was expected of young Miyabi when she made her debut for IJP in April fo 2004. Early into her career, Miyabi was criticized harshly, perhaps due to the high expectations placed upon her due to her lineage. Within less than a year, Miyabi had improved vastly, leading to her capturing the Japan Women's Junior title from La Pantera Futura. The following year, Miyabi continued to progress, as she won the Women's Pro-Wrestling Cup. However, in late 2008, Miyabi stunned the women's wrestling scene by turning heel, and forming the "Hanran Majin" faction with AIKO and YUKARI. Miyabi Fujita made a shocking debut for Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's side brand ATTACK GIRLS as the "Assassin" of SUKEBAN. Fujita has automatically become the strongest woman in ATTACK GIRLS but if the "Devil Queen" reach the throne of ATTACK GIRLS is yet to be seen.

After entering the dojo, she immediately began studying under STRONG RIDERS members Otsuo Kayusa, Kyoshima Yosuken and Kenichiro Hujikawa. As she developed her skills, she took on techniques from all three STRONG RIDERS members, adapting Kayusa's German Suplex, Hujikawa's Axe Bomber K, and Yosuken's Calf Branding to her arsenal. Her first name is often mistaken for Kaoru.

A martial artist in her formative years and pro wrestling fan, Riku "Cherry" Okano is one of the few known disciples and the only female student of top pro-wrestling star Tatsumichi Akamatsu. Okano was discovered by Akamatsu in the latter half of 2008 when he attended an amateur grappling competition in Tokyo that the then 17 year old was competing in. Although Okano did not win her 18 and Under all female division (losing in the semi-finals), she none the less captured the attention and admiration of her fellow Saitama native, who recruited her into his STRONGHOLD camp. After several months of training with Akamatsu and his partner Makoto Tachibana, Okano was sent to America in 2009 to expand her training with the famed American tandem Stephen Greer and Tyrone Walker (aka Team Danger). Along with the experience gained at the Florida based dojo, she picked up her now trademark red hair and the nickname Cherry while competing for Greer & walker's Danger Zone promotion events that featured a number of America's top female wrestlers along with many of Team Danger's top male graduates. After several months Okano returned to Japan in early 2010 where she completed her training under Akamatsu and now looks to continue her journey with Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON's ATTACK GIRLS promotion.

Profile:
Minako Suzuki is the entire reason for the existence of ATTACK GIRLS. The niece of legendary trainer Ryo Suzuki, Minako's constant harassment for training led to Ryo Suzuki opening up training for Joshi wrestlers. Minako is criminally undersized even by joshi standards, but is attempting to make up for it with spirit and willpower much like her uncle did in his own career. Minako Suzuki shocked the Joshi world, as she upset Miyabi Fujita with a cradle to capture the PWC International Woman's Championship!
