[CRIMSON] 08/01/10 ~ First Six Memorial Cup Teams Announced

One day after announcing the Iwate Memorial Six Man Cup, Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON released the listings of the first six teams in the fourteen team tournament.

C-1 Heavyweight Champion Nobuyori Shimizu teams with HEAVY WAR's Rui Kuriyama, and Pro-Wrestling FURY's Chikao Kessin in a special inter-promotional team with the team name UNDYING HEART due to the courage of all three participants....

KYOURUI 6 gets a special partner as the "WORLD STRONGEST TERRORISTS". Unified Openweight Champion Hiroyuki Takano teams with Keoni Murata, and the world traveled Kojiro Kanesaka.

HEAVY WAR fields the remaining three members of their always dangerous unit. Akuma Toyota, Naoki Daishi, and Masakazu Fujimoto look to become tournament victors.

Invaders from America arrive once again, this time representing James Goodwin Promotions. Goodwin's son, former BURNING PARADISE tag team champion, James Goodwin Jr. teams with former C-1 Heavyweight Champion Stephen Priest. They both team with former C-1 Tag Team Champion and C-2 Openweight Champion, the "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop.

Bloody Gears fields their "top three" of the unit. Makoto Saito and Tenshin Komatsu find themselves teaming with their new recruit Ikuji Royama to search for tournament glory.

And the final team announced are three members of AVENIR's first class, titled the "SHINING BLAZERS". Kenjiro Amagawa, Shinsuke Takahashi and Hiroshi Kuroki.

The tournament is split up over three nights. The first round will take place on the 12th. The second round on the 13th, and the semi finals and finals on the 14th. The winning team members will all receive 800,000 yen.

In addition, two teams will receive byes through the first round to be announced before the event takes place. The remaining eight teams to be revealed in the coming days as well.
