- KYOURUI 6's mysterious X was revealed to be none other then Kenta Arakiki, Hayato Saigo's challenger at BATTLE ZONE! Arakiki aided his new allies to victory in the main event. Afterwards, Hiroyuki Takano called KYOURUI 6 into the ring and revealed Kenta Arakiki as the new member of KYOURUI 6. However, a natrual question arose as there were seven men in the ring (and a female)... All eyes turned towards Ryoma Inoue and his wife Tomiko causing Ryoma to step back before pushing his wife behind him. Hiroyuki Takano approached Ryoma Inoue using taunting language, even going as far as to call him "Ryoma-kun". Takano told Inoue that his performance as a member of KYOURUI 6 was unacceptable, and that as of right now he was being replaced. KYOURUI 6 surrounded the Inoue's on all sides. However, Takano maintained a calm face even going as far as to say that they could "still be friends"...Takano held out his hand for Inoue to shake. Ryoma hesitantly accepted, and the second the two men's hand met, KYOURUI 6 pounced from all angles!

The six members attacked their former ally like a pack of ravenous dogs, as Tomiko Inoue used her bamboo sword to try and drive them off. However, after Ryoma was sufficiently beaten down, KYOURUI 6 turned their attention to Tomiko. Akahito Yamada, wearing a devilish grin, approached Ryoma's wife with a microphone in hand. Yamada made lewd comments to Tomiko even going as far as to suggest Tomiko leave a wimp like Ryoma and become KYOURUI 6's "personal" manager...Tomiko responded with a STRAIGHT PUNCH TO THE JAW. Yamada reeled but suddenly grabbed Tomiko by the hair. Yamada licked the blood coming from his lip, before claiming he would "teach her all about real men". Yamada's advance was broken up by a guttural "You Bastard!" from behind KYOURUI 6, as Ryoma Inoue sprang to his feet and attacked all six KYOURUI 6 members alone!

Ryoma knocked Yamada's microphone aside before using it as a weapon to blungeon his former allies. After every blow, Ryoma screamed as his wife to run. After opening an avenue, Tomiko escaped allowing Ryoma to continue to attack without distraction. However, Ryoma's courageous attack was overcome by the sheer numbers of KYOURUI 6. Inoue was viciously attacked from all sides. Salvation came from an unlikely source, as AVENIR, lead by Yuki Nomura himself ran to his aid with Tomiko leading the way. The six men and one female hit the ring, and after a brief melee, drove KYOURUI 6 from the ring. Tomiko attended to her bleeding and battered husband as AVENIR set up a defensive position.

After KYOURUI 6 retreated, President Yuki Nomura suddenly launched into Ryoma Inoue with a tirade. Nomura demanded to know where the strong young man who debuted against him in 2004 was, or wondered if that Inoue had been lost when he affiliated himself with "beasts" like KYOURUI 6. Nomura propped Inoue into a corner then informed Inoue that if he wanted to be "reborn" and "return to who you once were", there would be a spot saved for him by his side. Inoue simply stared as Nomura, as he and AVENIR left the ring leaving the married couple alone. Ryoma said nothing to his wife, then began to leave the ring. Tomiko ran towards her husband before latching onto his arm. The two then walked to the back with no one else near them.

4. SPECIAL SINGLES BOUT: Tenshin Komatsu defeated Toshiro Noguchi at 17'39 with the Iron Cross
5. SPECIAL SINGLES BOUT: Nobuyori Shimizu defeated Makoto Saito at 22'10 with the Tsuyosa German Suplex

- After the events of the 13th, Kenta Arakiki replaced Ryoma Inoue on the KYOURUI 6 side in the third match. After aiding KYOURUI 6 in defeating AVENIR in their final match as a unit, Arakiki "apologized" for ruining their "special day" after blasting Kuroki in the face with the Hikitsuri.

- Tenshin Komatsu was given a stiff test against Toshiro Noguchi, but after a back and forth battle emerged victorious after locking Noguchi in his rarely used submission hold, the Iron Cross.

- In the main event, Nobuyori Shimizu faced his own test heading into BATTLE ZONE against Bloody Gears leader Makoto Saito. It took Shimizu well over twenty minutes to put down the stoic fighter, but finally was able to with the Tsuyosa German Suplex.

- After the main event, both Tenshin Komatsu and Nobuyori Shimizu held a talk session for the final time before BATTLE ZONE. Both agreed that this was a "destined battle" that was almost eight years in the making. Komatsu recalled being in this same situation three years ago, but maintained that this time his "destiny" would not be derailed. However, Shimizu told Komatsu that winning the C-1 Heavyweight Championship had been his dream from day one in 2002, and that he would do everything in his power to keep his dream alive. Both men shook hands with both promising that their storied history would enter the final chapter, and once and for all, we would know who the best between Nobuyori Shimizu and Tenshin Komatsu is!
