Niigata was the scene of yet another Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON event on the 14th of June with all roads pointing towards the Sendai City Gymnasium on July 27th. The opening bout pitted AVENIR against LOVE, as the two factions collided. LOVE controlled the early portions, using guest member SLAYER to do most of the damage early on, however, AVENIR would not go down without a fight led by Kenjiro Amagawa and Shinsuke Takahashi leading to a tradeoff between the two sides. AVENIR displayed superior teamwork when the bout fully broke down, leading to Tenshin Komatsu eating a medley of moves from AVENIR. In quick succession, Komatsu was given a Backdrop Suplex, a White Flash, A Saikyo Lariat, and Kuroki prepared to land the final blow, the PRISM when suddenly a figure sprinted to ringside. As Kuroki leapt onto the top rope for the PRISM, the figure wearing a black and red mask suddenly shoved Kuroki off the ropes, causing Kuroki to land in a heap. Komatsu had grabbed a hold of the referee, keeping him from seeing what was taking place as the masked man readied himself, then launched at Kuroki with a beautiful swan dive style DDT, spiking Kuroki unmercifully on his head! Just as quickly as he appeared, the masked man left the ringside area, escaping. With LOVE keeping the rest of AVENIR at bay, Komatsu posed over Kuroki to a round of jeers, before pulling Kuroki up to a kneeling base where Komatsu delivered a vicious Komatsu Knee Kick for the three count fall! The ring was filled with chaos as AVENIR broke free to check on Kuroki but there was a strong feeling of enmity from the AVENIR side, leading to Kenjiro Amagawa demanding a ringside microphone. Once given the microphone, Amagawa demanded to know who the masked man had been before throwing the microphone at Komatsu's chest. In the wake of Amagawa's anger, Komatsu broke into laughter before saying, "...Hmmm...I wonder...?" before launching into further hysterics while leaving the ring. However, on their way to the back, Komatsu stopped and using the microphone he still carried, Komatsu gave a "love call" to former best friend Makoto Saito, inviting Saito to attack without mercy on the 28th before ominously telling Saito that it would be his "final chance" at revenge...
Yankizoku and the STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY collided in the second bout as C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Ace teamed with the #1 CRIMSON Junior Team of OVERTHROW to take on the team of C-1 Junior- Heavyweight Champion Keoni Murata, Ryoma Inoue & Ichiyo Tatsuko in six man competition. Despite the significant difference in the two teams battle strength, the Yankizoku held their own against three of the strongest Junior's in the world. The storyline of the match revolved around Keoni Murata and Akahito Yamada leading to their C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship match on the 21st. Murata attempted to use his surfboard attack on Yamada, only to have Yamada avoid the blow, use Murata's own momentum against him and plant Murata with the Straight Jacket Suplex Hold for the three count! Yamada was critical of Murata after the fall, calling Murata a "worthless" champion that was soiling the C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship with his antics. Yamada continued by telling Murata that his tricks would never succeed against him, and that if Murata wanted to have the slightest chance to defeat him, he would have to revive his "warrior spirit" from the grave that Murata had buried it in!
BIG BOY Tomizaki came close to exacting a measure of revenge for his brutal loss to Ikuji Royama in the third match of the night, however, he was stopped by an unlikely person; his own partner! Keiji Hirano and BIG BOY Tomizaki took the fight to Toshiro Noguchi and Ikuji Royama in a battle they were almost certainly not going to win from the onset, however, there was a disconnect between Hirano and Tomizaki throughout the match. Hirano looked sluggish and seemed to be in an ill mood throughout the match. However, the tipping point came in the one moment of possible victory for their team. Tomizaki had desperately nailed Ikuji Royama in the groin to save himself, and set up use of his Bamboo Sword on Royama, only to have Hirano suddenly grab the sword from behind! The two engaged in a tug of war, as Tomizaki screamed in rage at Hirano's actions. However, Hirano simply refused to let go, until finally yanking the sword out of Tomizaki's hands. Tomizaki, unsure of what was happening, cowered in fear of being hit, but Hirano tossed the sword behind himself to the floor! Tomizaki appeared to be dumbfounded, but was snapped out of it as Toshiro Noguchi sprang into the ring, spearing Hirano to the ground. Tomizaki spun a 180, only to be immediately high kicked by Ikuji Royama, covering for the three count! Tomizaki was livid post match, demanding to know what Hirano was doing, but Keiji Hirano had no answer for Tomizaki walking away quietly as if considering his own actions.
The unending war between Yankizoku and the STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY raged in the semi final, as the C-1 Tag Team Champions the AT CLUB led Mikio Tsuruya into battle against C-1 Heavyweight Champion Akuma Toyota, Nobuyori Shimizu and Shuji Kawashima. Once again, the highlight of the bout was a furious exchange between Takayuki Ariwa and Akuma Toyota, with neither man giving up an inch leading to a stalemate. However, Nobuyori Shimizu and Hiroyuki Takano held their ground against their respective behemoth opponents. The difference would be in the two team's third member, as Mikio Tsuruya was able to outclass the youngster Shuji Kawashima putting Kawashima down with the Akuji Backdrop. However Tsuruya lifted Kawashima before mockingly pinning him after the Sugoi! Dropkick with one foot in an act of humiliation.
The only match left on the card would be contested for the C-2 Openweight Championship as Masakazu Fujimoto aimed to make his Version One defense of the championship against the spirited Sojiro Sayuki from AVENIR. The Niigata audience rallied behind Sayuki naturally due to the sheer size disadvantage between the two, as Fujimoto towered over Sayuki in both height and size. However, Sayuki displayed both his speed and precision as he attacked Fujimoto's legs while avoiding Fujimoto's power blows. Sayuki eventually made a mistake after several successful attacks, attempting to end the match with a running shotei. However, the blow proved to be completely ineffective against the iron hide of Fujimoto. Fujimoto grabbed the surprised Sayuki and threw him to the ground with a hip throw, landing with all his weight crushing onto Sayuki's frame! Fujimoto took his time dissecting Sayuki, seeming to enjoy being placed in the role of the villain for once, even going as far as to wrap Sayuki's head in the ropes before violently pulling backwards on it until he was forced off. Sayuki displayed his own courage by refusing to stay down despite Fujimoto's power, and to calls of encouragement fought back against the massive monster in front of him. However, a second shotei once again proved to be a mistake as Fujimoto crushed Sayuki with the MONSTER RUSH! However, Sayuki managed to kick out at two to keep himself in the match. As Fujimoto pulled Sayuki up, Sayuki suddenly caught Fujimoto by surprise with an inside cradle, however, the monster kicked out at two. In response to Sayuki's suddenly move, Fujimoto's calm exterior vanished as he grabbed Sayuki as he stood, threw him up into the air like he was a feather and SPIKED Sayuki with the Mt. Fujimoto Bomb onto Sayuki's shoulders! Fujimoto covered Sayuki, but again Sayuki kicked out at two to keep his dream alive! However, Fujimoto's patience snapped, as he grabbed Sayuki before hoisting Sayuki back onto his shoulders. However, instead of the Mt. Fujimoto Bomb, Fujimoto simply slammed Sayuki back down with a samoan drop driving all his weight onto Sayuki. With Sayuki crying in pain, Fujimoto climbed the turnbuckle he had placed Sayuki in front of. With little regard for Sayuki's health, Fujimoto leapt off the turnbuckle, and CRUSHED Sayuki's body with a Diving Senton! The audience audibly gasped as Fujimoto landed with a crunch before covering Sayuki for the uncontested three count.
After calming himself, Fujimoto apologized to both the fans and Sayuki for his attitude in the match, but claimed that it was Sayuki's "will" that had invoked Fujimoto's battle strength. Sayuki did not display any displeasure, before thanking Fujimoto for the match. Sayuki looked thoughtful, before admitting that this was his limit as of right now as a pro-wrestler, before announcing that he would be returning to Mexico for further training! Sayuki promised to come back someday in the future as a successful heavyweight to a large round of cheers from the fans.
