Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON moved to Yamagata for one of the final nights of the Power Source tournament. In the opening match, Akuma Toyota & Akahito Yamada fought Tenshin Komatsu and Ryoma Inoue. However, the match was quickly interupted as Yankizoku hit the ring causing the disqualification. However, Ikuji Royama, Hiroshi Kuroki and Sojiro Sayuki hit the ring for the save. This led to an impromptu ten man tag instead of the originally scheduled six man, which saw Akuma Toyota get the victory over Ichiyo Tatsuko with Toyota's rarely used Sky High Suplex for the three count.
The first of two final matches in the Block B of the Power Source saw Kenjiro Amagawa take on Shuji Kawashima. Kawashima's speed gave Amagawa trouble early on, but Amagawa targeted Kawashima's legs to slow the man down, leading to Amagawa trapping Kawashima in the Figure Four Leglock for the submission victory and the two points.
In a battle between an eliminated man, and a man with his tournament life on the line, Nobuyori Shimizu took on Shino Hiriyama in Block A. The two had a back and forth technical battle, leading to Shimizu hitting Hiriyama with the running elbow for the three count to keep his tournament hopes afloat.
Block B was decided with the third tournament match of the night, as Mikio Tsuruya took on Hayato Saigo. The match was filled with rampant interference by Yankizoku to help Tsuruya defeat Saigo, however, Saigo with the help of the STRONGEST CRIMSON ARMY was able to fight back against all the odds, leading to Saigo catching Tsuruya after an accidental Murata Surfboard attack on Tsuruya with a German Suplex Hold for the flash three count!
Another two wrestlers who needed to keep their hopes alive in Block D, between the "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop and LOVE's Kazuhiro Okamura faced off. Okamura attempted to use pinpoint strikes to wear down Bishop, but as the match wore on Bishop's power eventually won out, leading to Bishop blasting Okamura with the Texan Bomber to get the two points, and to end the hopes of Kazuhiro Okamura in the 2009 Power Source.
Control of Block C was up for determination in the main event, as the two top point leaders in the block faced off. AVENIR's Shinsuke Takahashi took on the Yankizoku leader Takayuki Ariwa. Takahashi took the fight righto Ariwa using his technical style of wrestling, but Ariwa continually fought back using his dynamic power attacks. In the end, Takahashi's reliance on the White Flash spelled his downfall, as Ariwa lariated Takahashi as he attempted the White Flash. With a stunned Takahashi, Ariwa spiked him with the Splash Mountain for the three count.
