[CRIMSON] Power Source 2009 ~ 5/01/09 @ Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium

Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON kicked off it's annual tradition in Iwate at the famous Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium, as the 2009 Power Source tournament began. The opening match of the night was scheduled to be the team of PREDATORS of Kaisen Tiger and Hiroshi Kuroki teaming against BIG BOY Tomizaki and Ichiyo Tatsuko...However, Hiroshi Kuroki announced that Kaisen Tiger had missed his taxi, and wasn't there for the show...However, a suitable replacement in Sojiro Sayuki had been found! The Yankizoku team were baffled, but Tomizaki in particular threw a hissy fit claiming he was "mentally prepared" for Kaisen Tiger and not Sojiro Sayuki! However, none of their complaints were heard, and the match began. Sayuki displayed how much he has improved from his fifteen months in Mexico, as he used sharp kicks and strikes along with strong grappling to keep the Yankizoku team at bay. In the end, Sayuki BLASTED Tatsuko with a running Shotei for the three count...After the match, Tomizaki pledged to "Unveil" the secret of Sojiro Sayuki and Kaisen Tiger, but all he had was threats...Sayuki took a microphone, and wished Kuroki and Kaisen Tiger the best in their quest to claim the PWC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Championships, but announced that his own intention was to claim the C-2 Openweight Championship, and challenged the winner of tonight's match to a surprised reaction!

The second bout saw Akuma Toyota lead Ikuji Royama and Akahito Yamada into battle against Tenshin Komatsu, Keoni Murata and Ryoma Inoue in a six man battle. Before the match could begin, Tenshin Komatsu gave an appeal claiming that he was finally tired of playing this game with Toyota, and announced that he had arranged for their "Destined" battle for the C-1 Heavyweight Championship to take place on a "Grand Stage", before formally challenging Akuma Toyota to face him on independent ground in Pro-Wrestling FURY on 5.31 AT THE KYOCERA DOME! The Miyako fans reacted in a mixture of surprise and disapointment as Akuma Toyota considered Komatsu's challenge. However, the "Iron Prince" was far from done as Komatsu reminded Toyota that even if he refused, he'd drag him to the Kyocera Dome and have the match anyway due to his clause. Komatsu further drove the knife in as he claimed he would only do that if "Aku-kun" was a coward and refused. This failed to sit well with Toyota, leading to Akuma Toyota blazing out his corner with a lariat to Komatsu's face! Toyota took a microphone, and accepted Komatsu's challenge, saying that he would crush him in front of the entire world! With that out of the way, the match finally got going with all six men going at each other with fury and abandon...In the end, it would once again be Keoni Murata who suffered defeat, this time when Akahito Yamada spiked him on his head with a Straight Jacket Suplex Hold for the three count! After the match, Yamada nominated himself as the next challenger to Murata's C-1 Junior-Heavyweight Championship, a fact that did not sit well with Royama...However, Yamada surprisingly used logic on Royama as he told the young man that he'd already had his chance, and to let him step up to the plate. Having been asked nicely, Royama agreed to Yamada's request, but told Akahito Yamada that regardless if he won the title or not, he would be gunning for the championship with full force.

The first Power Source 2009 Tournament match would be the first ever Inter-Promotional match in the tournament's history, as Pro-Wrestling FURY and Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON collided. One of FURY's signboard players, Tetsuhisa NAKAI returned to a Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON to take on the not so loveable loser of AVENIR's Kazuki Takagi in a Block A match. Takagi seemed to want to test the mettle of one of FURY's top guns, as he engaged the ultra powerful NAKAI in a battle of power. Which Takagi lost. Miserably. NAKAI brutalized Takagi with chops and sheer brute power leading to Takagi eating an incredible lariat for the three count fall less then four minutes into the match! Giving Pro-Wrestling FURY's Tetsuhisa NAKAI the first two points of the tournament! NAKAI took a microphone after his victory, and attempted to console Takagi by telling him he had done well...Takagi screamed back that he was lying and that he had done horrible. NAKAI then admitted he was lying and Takagi had done horrible to laughter. However, the jovial mood vanished as NAKAI revealed his true intentions for entering the Power Source. NAKAI reminded everyone that a historic battle would take place on 5.31 at the Kyocera Dome for the F-MAX Heavyweight Championship with Kazuma Fujita and Ryo Inoue. NAKAI announced that he would win the Power Source tournament, and then take the C-1 Heavyweight Championship. NAKAI continued by saying that he would use both accomplishments to challenge the winner of Fujita and Inoue to a double championship match in a Pro-Wrestling FURY ring! The Miyako crowd, who had been largely receptive of NAKAI suddenly turned hostile at the notion of the C-1 Heavyweight Championship being taken hostage once again, but NAKAI ignored them and left on his own.

Yankizoku and SCA clashed in the second Power Source tournament match, as the man who swore revenge on Yankizoku took on a man trying to reclaim past glory as Yoshiaki Matsuda faced Keiji Hirano in a Block D match. Hirano, who had been suffering through a slump but recently vowed to change his career path fought against the overwhelming battle strength of Yoshiaki Matsuda, and put up a strong fight including nearly putting Matsuda away with a Double Arm Trap German Suplex and a Moonsault Press,. However, Hirano had no answer when Matsuda finally clicked it on, leading to Matsuda dumping Hirano on his head with a Uranage and then following it up with a PK to Hirano's face for the crushing victory.

Despite being friends, the eternal rivalry between Hayato Saigo and Millennium S.K. was slated to earn yet another chapter in the third Power Source tournament match and the first of Block B, however, disaster struck and disrupted the plans. The two wasted little time early, as the exchanges were hot and heavy with neither man wanting to give up an inch to the other out of sheer competitiveness. This extended to a hot series of "Killing" moves on each other as S.K. busted out his Millennium Driver, only to have Saigo respond with his Brainbuster. However, after S.K. hit the mat, there was clearly something wrong as S.K. once again went motionless, just as he had done on the 26th. Saigo immediately covered S.K. and was given the three count. There was a huge commotion after the match, as Yuki Nomura once again led officials out to the ring and with Saigo's help, got Millennium S.K. to the back, and then the hospital shortly there after.

The long standing grudge between OVERTHROW and the TEXAS ROUGHRIDERS continued in the fourth and final Power Source tournament match of the night in Block C. Former C-1 Junior-Heavyweight and C-2 Openweight Champion Naoki Daishi took on former C-1 Tag Team Champion Rui Kuriyama in a match that pitted Kuriyama's clumsy power against Daishi's blinding skill. Kuriyama, who may be one of the weakest members of the CRIMSON roster (and who happens to be friends with one of the strongest) showed courage and valor in the fight with Daishi in his own ways, using every underhanded and dirty tactic he could think of to keep Daishi at bay. They had thrilling exchanges where Kuriyama showed off surprising agility and speed as he dodged out of Daishi's submissions that came flying his way including a flying Jujigatame. However, Kuriyama was only delaying the inevitable as Kuriyama struck at Daishi with the Kuri Lariat, only to have Daishi grab the arm and throw on a perfect Jujigatame, forcing the immediate submission! After the match, Daishi once again reiterated his mantra, that Skill and Precision beats Size and Power any day, to large cheers from the loyal Miyako CRIMSON fans!

The only match left on the night was a non-tournament match pitting Maskazu Fujimoto against the "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop for Bishop's C-2 Openweight Championship. Vyer little was in doubt for the tactics of both men for this bout, as the two largest men in Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON charged at each other like mack trucks resulting in sickening thuds and slaps as their skin made contact. When that worked for neither man, they resorted to brutal strike exchanges on each other but once again neither man gave an inch. Bishop finally earned an advantage after an eye rake followed by a big boot to Fujimoto's face. Bishop kept Fujimoto grounded from that point on, trying to wear the massive Japanese man out with chokes, strikes such as knee drops, and holds. However, he couldn't keep Fujimoto down forever, as the star of "LOVE SCRAMBLE" fought to his feet and returned fire. Another sickening exchange of blows took place, but Fujimoto got the advantage this time with a back blow to Bishop's face. Fujimoto attempted the MONSTER RUSH! but Bishop caught Fujimoto off guard with a Texan Bomber, taking the Japanese fighter down! Bishop covered, but Fujimoto had gotten a foot under the bottom rope. Bishop lifted Fujimoto, and sized the massive man up for a Gutwrench Powerbomb. Bishop struggled with Fujimoto's weight, but looked to be lifting Fujimoto for it, but Fujimoto shifted his weight, forcing Bishop to let go. Once his feet hit the ground, Fujimoto displayed his own fearsome power by sweeping Bishop up onto his shoulders and SPIKING Bishop with the Mt. Fujimoto Bomb! Fujimoto climbed to his feet and let out a guttural roar as he lifted Bishop, scooped him again, and SPIKED him on his head with a second Mt. Fujimoto Bomb! Fujimoto covered, and the Texan had no response as Masakazu Fujimoto defeated "Texas Outlaw" Jake Bishop!

The fans packing the Miyako 1000 Tokuji Gymnasium exploded, with many female fans calling out "Genji" as a sign of encouragement to Fujimoto. SCA members climbed into the ring to congratulate Fujimoto as "Thunder in Your Heart" played. Fujimoto looked heavily moved as he fought back tears, to have won his first championship in his career asYuki Nomura rewarded him with the C-2 Openweight Championship. Yuki Nomura joked that they would have to modify the C-2 Openweight Championship for Fujimoto, but Fujimoto replied that he liked holding it on his shoulder to a round of laughter. Fujimoto gave a heart felt appeal after the ceremony had ended, thanking everyone he could think of. From Pro-Wrestling DYNAMITE, to Jason Ramsey, to Torayashi Ryoku, to his hero Kazuma Fujita, to Pro-Wrestling CRIMSON, and to the fans, Fujimoto thanked them all saying that he had almost given up Pro-Wrestling when his acting career began to take off, but Fujimoto said that Pro-Wrestling was strongest and the strongest thing in his heart. Fujimoto stated with confidence that no matter what happened from this day forward with his two careers, that this would be the defining moment of his life. Fujimoto deeply bowed to the crowd, before turning around and bowing to Yuki Nomura. Yuki Nomura led the crowd in a large round of applause as "Thunder in Your Heart" sung the new champion out.
